Time is my most precious expediture and I often skip Meijer to avoid spending it.

We often go to a friends who's done clambakes before and has always ordered from Bennett Fish. Alas, that will NOT happen again. This year they were over an hour late and when they set up everything, they did so hurriedly and angrily. Everything was set, but things were going a little slower than we'd expected. By about 6 o'clock, we checked and everything was RAW. My friend called up Bennett Fish who's response was "do you have a grill" and "ask your neighbors for a Turkey roaster". Are you kidding me? That's your answer?!? The equipment was malfunctioning. It is supposed to be hot to the touch, steaming the water we were pouring in periodically. Instead, it was just warm. There was some sort of issue with the line because it just never got hot. Turns out we had to grill the chicken, boil corn on the stove, microwave the potatoes...oh, and the clams? The clams never did open after HOURS in the steaming equipment. We had a clam-less, clambake. Horrible customer service. Faulty equipment. Angry delivery people. Order from someone else!

She was mumbling to herself the whole time she waited on me . I worked in customer service for over 40 years and there is no excuse for that kind of attitude. I'm a regular customer and the reason I asked her for it was because there was none in the deli case out front. I was also the only one at the counter at the time at about 7:15 am. If she doesn't like her job she should quit .
