This is a crazy unacceptable detail, and to make it worse they never told me of the delay. When I asked for a phone number to the leadership team, the PA was done within an hour. Previously I had to call / send portal message 4 times for a refill and was then told they were back up and I should call every time I need a refill instead of using the refill line or portal refill. Why can't they hire adequate staff?

He didn't argue and pleasantly brought me to my room for intake and to wait for my doctor. Dr. Abbott came in and chatted with me about my symptoms. He was very detailed and never seemed rushed to get to his next appointment. In the next couple of visits he has done the same and has given me several techniques to help alleviate pain along with his work that he has done on my neck and surrounding muscles. Sometimes runs late (don't all doctors) but overall an amazing experience and will continue to go to have work done on my neck.

After my first session, I told them that I didn't think my insurance would cover parts of treatment and that I was concerned with getting billed. I asked Dr Zagwyn to confirm with billing that it would only be a $40 copay and she did. Then I get a bill for $300 followed by an email that they had made an error but I was still responsible for the bill. I should also mention that while going through their many stations there is a lot of inappropriate conversation between staff as they "work" on you. There are many other honest chiropractors in town. Very disappointed with lack of transparency here.

I have to say that the process was executed well by the MaineHealth staff (from the untrained 3rd-party point-of-view). I thought that the overall experience went very smoothly and we are very pleased with the results of that surgery. My wife, a registered nurse, complained of some seemingly unmotivated staff but never said anything was unprofessional or remotely dangerous. And the facility, I imagine, isn't the Taj Mahal of surgery centers but I would recommend this facility to anybody based on my experience.
