Stopped in for a first time visit while in town for a business conference. Absolutely the best Korean food I've had since being stationed in Korea, twenty (20) years ago. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is small, and the food is most certainly not cheap, but it's more than worth it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Egg drop soup and la galbi (Korean short ribs)

I would definitely come back to this true hole-in-the-wall! A mom and pop shop that offers the most popular Korean dishes. We enjoyed the la galbi, the Korean rice bowl and the dumplings! The service was fast and they were nice. The only thing I didn't like was the egg drop soup lol but other than that, the experience was fun!

Wow! What an amazing gem to find in Biloxi. The woman who took care of us was very kind and helpful with the menu. The food here was delicious and made with love. A gentleman coming in and out from The Viet brought us two bobas (how kind) and let us know the mom makes the kimchi at home. Stop in if you're around Biloxi for authentic Korean Food!

Bulgogi with sides

TL;DR Tasty Korean food that tastes authentic. Less than standard cabbage kimchi, but lunch is well worth the price. Very tasty food. The woman serving was not incredibly personable, but I don't personnelly mind that, honestly. I'm an introvert and just want to eat in peace. You can see my bulgogi lunch dish with the sides in the picture. The lady refilled my favorite sides, the turnip kimchi, and refilled my rice after I finished mine. I didn't eat any other meal that day and remained sated for the entirety of the day. My only complaint is that the cabbage kimchi had much less flavor than I am used to. I typically leave mine out of the fridge to develop the tangy flavor. Maybe you will like it though. For the lunch price and portion, I would say definitely give it a go. For the dinner prices, it looked like it would be a miss for me.

Thouk Mandu Guk

Right outside of the base, you'll find this hidden gem. It is tucked away in the corner of a small shopping center and may not look like much from the outside but when I tell you, it is one of the best restaurants in the area, I am not playing. We came here for dinner and almost every table was taken. Always a good sign! We were promptly seated and able to order right away. I went with Thouk Mandu Guk which is my all-time favorite Korean dumpling soup. It was absolutely delicious! They had so many options on the menu and I honestly wanted to order them all. I think the key would be to bring a big group so more orders could be placed in order to try a little bit of everything. Prices were very fair and the portions were huge. The staff were all very friendly and hopeful in explaining what different items were and giving recommendations. I am so glad I got to eat here and I hope I get to return soon!

Service takes a while since it's a family owned restaurant. It's not super fancy but this place has legit Korean comfort food. (I'm Korean so I would know) Lunch specials are a good deal, portions were generous and not pricey. I would recommend coming for lunch!

The food is always amazing and consistently delicious! Service is top-notch! Definitely try this place out it won't disappoint you.

Best Korean food on the coast. Service is timely. Call in orders are never delayed or incorrect.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Small mom & pop restaurant with good food that's great for family style dining but can get crowded.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Kimbap

We were searching for a korean spot in Biloxi and didn't have many choices. We decided to stop in to RC. We arrived at 6 with a table for 10( 6adults and 4 kids from 10-16) The place was empty with no other guesses. The lady that greeted us didn't seem happy or welcoming at all. This continue to be her mood throughout the meal. We ordered a lot of food from Kimbap, Mandu, Galbi, Bulgugi, Ramen, Japchae, and Black bean noodles. The Kimbap was good as it was rolled with bulgogi and vegetables. Honestly that was my favorite. Not a good sign to come. The mandu came out and it was a bit oily and tasted like it came from the frozen pack. The food came out sporadically. The Galbi was sweet and had a chalky feel to them. Seems like whatever they use as seasoning did blend well. The bulgogi was also extremely sweet. The most disappointing dish was the cheese ramen. For 10.95 it seems like they put a package of instant ramen some water no seasoning pack and a slice of cheese. i would of though for the price they would of spruce it up but no it was a package of instant noodles and a slice of cheese. Now i wasn't expecting korean food that i have known and love from cities like Atlanta but this was not close. I don't think i would have been as upset if the lady running the place was happy or didn't look like she didn't want us there. [[HIGHLIGHT]]From the time we were there to the time we left there was only one other table that came in.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We spent 400 bucks there and regretted it. I hope they can redeem themselves and self evaluate.

This doesn't seem like a place to go for Korean food. They have a couple restaurants on the coast. Kinda of a hidden gem if you are in the mood for Korean food. Located in small shopping center near Keesler AFB off Pass Rd. This is a small restaurant but great food! It depends on when you go. They have small bar and offer drink if that's your fancy. Drink responsibly. Sometimes it's packed. You make have wait or no seating for large groups. Maybe a big family? You you may have to time it when you go to a table. They definitely to take out. I noticed it tends to calm down after 7:30 P.M when we went. It may vary daily. Seating is table seating and service. No booth seating. The chairs offer little padding. Comfy for while you dine there. We had a little wait but quickly got a table and sat down. It was five minutes? Our server greeted us right away and took our drink order. They only have one server but the service was excellent and she was making it happen. We got Korean hot tea, sweet tea, and ice water. Got the Kim Bop (Korean sushi roll, rice, seaweed, imitation crabmeat, cucumber, carrot, etc) , Yaki Man Doo ( deep fried Korean dumplings with dipping sauce) as appetizers. Main course was Gal-Bee (Korean beef short ribs in sauce pear and seasoning), I was craving that! So worth it! Jap-Che (clear noodles with beef and some vegetables), and Bul Go Gi (sautéed thinly sliced beef marinated in mild or spicy sauce with onions and carrots), also with rice and bonchon (side dishes). They offer WiFi. I don't know if it's free but password protected. No mask required. Great food and staff Must if you are in the mood for Korean.

I know for a fact we got the…read moreGalbi, sweet and sour pork, spring rolls, I got a Dr. Pepper and the Cass lager; my daughter had a drink. That's IT. I remember being so excited because they carried Cass. That excitement was abruptly dashed when the bill came, I didn't even get to have a false sense of security from a little buzz since I only had one to compliment my meal should've planned for two to compliment that bill!!!! The point of my review is that I was originally under the belief the prices listed were regular prices. Turned out those were lunch prices. For the amount of food we got, regular prices are undeniably insane. She informed me AFTER that lunch is only Tuesday-Friday. We went on a Monday. It felt very deceitful to have lunch menus out, with lunch prices, and not tell someone that it's actually NOT lunch, those prices are inaccurate, nor give the correct pricing. I don't know about my toddler, she was just happy to be alive, there, no responsibilities, and unemployed atp; but I know I left there hungry. I texted and called my mother to gripe about it because I was expecting an affordable rare lunch out with my daughter and felt like I got robbed. Insult to injury they don't do any type of military discount, not even 5% Idk kinda crazy to be in this area and NOT do that; but whatever toots her horn. The quality of this food is not up to par with any Korean restaurant I have been to. It is disappointing, I just know over half of these raving reviews are from people who have never left Mississippi nor tried diverse foods/other authentic Korean eateries. This restaurant is severely lacking. Quality control, portion control, and the amount of time it takes to receive anything after ordering.... I should have known because we were the only patrons there until the middle end of our meal, and it was a little group of 3 retirement-aged folks. I don't know if the reviews are by people who just have money to blow through, zero financial literacy, or if I was upcharged for things compared to what everyone else was charged, but it is disappointing. Our bill was 80-100 dollars!!! My child is TWO the food was not nasty, but it was not 80-100$ good! It was alright at best. Furthermore, she chased me down for a secondary transaction just for the tip. I used tap to pay and wrote the tip like usual, BUT allegedly they cannot receive a tip with that payment method; so she ran, genuinely RAN, after me to my car...absolutely tweaked. I just know those old heads thought I tried to skip out on my bill, it was genuinely embarrassing. I do not know why she thought that was appropriate at ALL. I have neverrr had an issue using tap2pay, adding my tip/paying the bill all in the same transaction. It's extremely disappointing! If this place wasn't astronomically unaffordable I would have considered going back; even with her chasing me like I was a criminal, but I cannot justify dropping that kind of money on a meal I didn't cook and no sort of love went into it. They're the only place I have been able to find the Cass Fresh lager :( it's so saddening. Take my review how you will, but I definitely will not be returning to this establishment. It is disrespectful to my wallet. And there is no way they don't know these practices are inappropriate and their price-to-portion ratio is out of whack. Fool me once.

I tried this place as this was one of the few places opened on a Monday. I ended up going at night…read moretime at 5pm during opening as I was really hungry and I had $120 dollars to spend and had a long drive home. The server I had was really nice and attentive as he came and checked in and filled my water up. Some servers just leave you alone and I just at and answered my questions on some of the prices like lobster and the duck. Here is what I ordered: 1. BBQ Roasted duck 2. Surf and Turf 3. Shrimp Stir Fry Now of course I did not eat everything and took some food to go. But I did enjoy most of the food. I would definitely get the surf and turf again as the steak was cooked perfect and lobster tail was awesome. The BBQ duck was alright, they gave me the tortilla wraps, but expecting more of the bread which is alright. I ordered the shrimp vegetable stir fry as well and that was good too and I needed some vegetables. Atmosphere was cool, there was no Japanese steak chefs that day, but I am sure they come out during the weekend. I probably take my wife here to eat next time.

This WAS our favorite restaurant until today. We were out celebrating and boy was this experience…read morethe worst. First of all, the waiter took our order and NEVER refilled our drinks-water or Pepsi. After the food order was delivered the waiter DISAPPEARED. The cook staff actually messed up the hot and sour soup-it was as thick as gravy. Our waiter never returned to our table to even give us our check. We sat for over 30 minutes waiting for the check with no drink refills or even visit from the waiter to see what was needed. He just literally disappeared and it took other customers to request their check for another server for him to even return with our check...30 minutes later. Maybe Trey was in training , I do not know. I do not know what was happening at Tien today. We won't be returning. Sad situation. We drove 45 minutes to eat at this restaurant today. The only reason I'm rating our experience as a 2 star is that we had a nice view of the bay. That is it... food was a huge miss especially for the price of this meal.

He repeated our order back to us, and mentioned he just had a big group come in and that it'd be closer to 20-25 minutes for pick up. We show up at about the 25 minute mark. Food still isn't ready but no biggie. Easily saw a big group of 8, and idk if he was alone or the other employees were hiding in the back, but he was the only face we saw. We ordered the 12 piece boneless chicken thighs with the soy garlic sauce, an order of loaded waffle fries with chicken, and a creme brulee milk tea with crystal boba. I'm not sure how, but they brought our food out and we took it to the car to eat. Nothing was hot. It wasn't even lukewarm. That's crazy to me as we waited an additional 10 minutes for our food. The flavor was there though. My husband claimed it was spicy, but I thought the soy garlic was mild. Super tender, flavorful, and was covered generously with sauce. The fries were the star of the show. My only suggestion is to drown those fries with more sauce! May be a personal preference but the sauce was really nice. My only gripe with the drink is that they don't offer regular tapioca pearls. I don't mind crystal boba, but I had a few unhappy campers with me lol. What I loved was that they asked if I wanted black tea or jasmine. Thank you! Overall, I'd come back, but I'd try dining in because I imagine hot chicken would be top tier here.

Once again we waited for 45 min for our food, ordered an appetizer, two #1 orders one with and large fries to share. They brought the chicken out first and 15 min later said the rest was on its way out. By this time we are done with our meal and no point for an appetizer... which is before the meal and fries which were to complete the meal. Will we continue to order takeout? No, they have been messing up our orders and skimping on chicken and sauce. Will we ever try to eat in again. Hell no. Seriously, it's been over a year... how do you still not know how to run a business... you own like 4 others. Hotpot has the same problems and quickly is hit or miss. Also to add I did mention this to the owner and all he said was sorry about that. No reasons why they can't seem to get food out in a timely matter or even in the correct order. Like I said, sucks cause their sauce is great. Chickens nothing special but that curry sauce is fantastic, when they don't skimp on it. Good luck if you try this place.
