I have been to KC Korean Restaurant three or four times, and it has been very tasty each time. I would highly recommend the bul go gi, which is a mixture of vegetables, egg, rice, and seasoned beef. Even if you have never had Korean before, there is a good chance that you will like it too. I also enjoy the gal bee, which are Korean short ribs with rice. My favorite part of RC Korean Restaurant - and most all Korean restaurants - are the sides. Every dish at RC comes with five sides: kimchi, pickled radish, pickled cucumber, pickled turnip, and beansprouts. I looove each of them, and they offer refills of the sides; however, they may not be for everyone. If you like them, though, be sure to check out the grocery next door. We ordered the Kimbap, Bulgogi, Bimbimbap, and beef raymun (ramen). First impression: decent little place, clean, prices looked a bit high. Then the kimbap arrived. It was a massive amount, 2 full rolls, and tasted delicious. Next came the kimchi and entrees. The bulgogi was decent portion, but with a tiny side of rice to go with a large plate of meat. The bimbimbap was...meh. They pre-fried the egg (I prefer the more traditional raw egg and let the clay pot cook it) and the sauce lacked flavor. The Raymun was ok as well. The kimchi was decent, again not a lot of spice, but still packed with flavor. Overall, not the worst Korean food I've had, not the best either and definitely overpriced on most items. read more

This is one of my favorite korean restaurants! The staff is very helpful in explaining dishes if unfamiliar with korean food. The restaurant itself is located right outside of Keesler AFB so you will see lots of military people dining here especially for lunch. The decor is nice with authentic korean outfits displayed on the wall and nice wooden tables throughout the intimate dining room. If you love galbee then you will definitely be satisfied here. The galbee is perfect. Marinated and grilled to perfection. My favorite dish here and my top spot for galbee! Some other excellent options are the steamed dumplings, the bul go gi (sauteed beef, pork, or chicken), and their hot and sour soup. If you like kimchee they have really great kimchee too. Prices range from about $8 for apps to $13-16 for most entrees. Their lunch menu (while very limited) is quite awesome with some of their most popular dishes at very affordable prices...$5 or $6. I drive over to Biloxi just to eat Korean. I have eaten here twice now and it is amazing. This is my second time ordering the glass noodles spicy. I love the best of both worlds...bulgogi and noodles. The texture of the noodles are awesome. My husband ordered the pork bulgogi and loved it. And as always the banchan is so good. They have always been quick to refill any we really enjoy and our glasses stay full of sweet tea. A must try when you're in Biloxi and well worth the hour and a half drive for me :) read more

Okay.. so my usual complaint at almost every place I try in the South is that they don't have vegan options. Come on, it's 2018, I think we can offer a few things without meat in them. There is one item on the menu for vegans and vegetarians here. Number 24, stir fried vegetables. So if you want that, or to eat the same thing every time, go here. It was absolutely delicious and I will be going back despite the fact that there's only one item I can eat. The flavours here are incredible. Yes, they take forever. Know that going in and you'll be okay. There were two other tables with people waiting on food when I got here and it took about an hour for my food to arrive. Don't be sad for me. I had a book to read. The stir fried vegetables comes with white rice that is nice and sticky and easy to eat with chopsticks. Banchan are served with every meal, of course, and they are amazing. The server is not here to be your best friend. She has stuff to do and I don't believe she's trying to be rude. She's just not trying to be nice either. Haha. The food is good overall, but some dishes are prepared inconsistently. One day the food is really good, other days, it's just ok. The flavors are wonderful, but the meat dishes are too sweet for my liking. I even ask that my bulgogi be prepared with no sugar, but it still comes out sweet! I don't understand why they can't get this right! Either way, after my first dining experience, I was inspired to try other dishes. There is definitely room for improvement. I'll still patronize them for some of my favorites like the Yaki Man Doo and Man Doo Gook. read more

pretty good! went with my mom around 5 pm on a Saturday and thought it would be a lot busier than it was. after a while of us being there it did get busy so be mindful. lady was nice, not very conversational but very straight to the point and quick. good amount of options: my mom got the ramen with beef which is a pretty small portion and i got the kimchi ramen which was very big and spicy (nothing i couldn't handle). they also come with 6 different toppings/add ins like kimci, bean sprouts, beef and others that i don't know the name of for free. food came around 20-30 min after ordering, so not very long. we both enjoyed our food very much and will be coming back soon! read more

I had the bulgogi and ending up taking most of it home being such a super large serving it could have fed at least 4 people. I also had the fried mondu which was perfectly crispy! So, it's been a little challenging to find a decent place that doesn't have that many bad reviews 1 and 2, where 95% of their items aren't fried. IMO, it can go either way when finding an ethnic restaurant in an area where it's not that diverse. This place is not too far from our place and SUPER close to base. We ordered: - Steamed dumplings - Korean sushi roll - Bulgogi plate -Galbi/Kalbi plate I feel like we ordered more but this is all I can remember. Their portions are pretty big, especially the dumplings and sushi roll. I mean, it's enough to split between 3 or 4 people. Unless you're Samoan, then it's enough for 2! Hahahaha! The plates are enough to split. Meat isn't dry and it's very flavorful. You get a bunch of the pickled sides which I love. The hubby? Not so much. I took away one star for the service, while she was sweet, it took a very long time to get waited on and to get our food. I also wish they had music playing.. It was kind of awkward. Would I go back? First off, we weren't greeted or acknowledged when we came in. Our server later approached us and asked what we wanted to drink. I changed my mind after 3 minutes to get bimbibap instead of the kimchee ramyun. As I came up to a kitchen staff I saw she grab a packet of shin ramyun instant noodles from a box right as I was requesting to change my order. She claimed, "I just began cooking it I can't change the order." It was less than 3 minutes after we placed our order! She threw a finger up and stormed back to the kitchen with no indication she was going to change it. Realistically, what did she start to do? Boil the water for the instant ramyun? I wanted to be understanding, however the conversation turned aggressive quickly as her tone changed in volume. She was ill-mannered to the point where I would much prefer to pay for the tea and leave than be disrespected when I asked politely in a timely manner. I proceeded to do exactly that. She refused to let us leave at this point. She said if I wanted to cancel this order I should have done so beforehand. However, I did say I want to change the kimchi ramyun, which she adamantly refused to. A RANDOM customer walked in and she had the audacity to involve him in our argument. She said to him, "I don't think she understands what I'm saying, I think she's Vietnamese." I was HIGHLY offended. I replied, "No lady, I understand English perfectly fine. You were rude to me earlier and that's why I'm cancelling the order." She asked me what are they going to do about the food? I suggested that she eat it and not throw it away. She kept insisting like she is forced to throw all the food away and once again I explained to her she can eat it. Usually in this situation, they can give it to the staff to eat or a customer. She said she wasn't going to eat it and I said well I'm not going to eat it either I didn't even pay for it! She gave up and left and did not even apologize. Another woman rang me up for the tea said very quietly, "Sorry." This is how they treat their customers. If you change your mind about your order here, don't expect it to be changed without a huge ordeal. read more

Ok, the dumplings themselves were pretty good, but the sauce was what made it 5/5. Not only was it a little spicy, there was a touch of citrus. YUM! I couldn't stop eating it. Thank goodness like 12 comes in every order. Korean pancakes were pretty awesome, but watch out, they break your chopsticks (it happened to 2 people in my group lol). It's pretty fluffy and crunchy and packed with seafood, so if you don't like seafood, don't order it. The ribs were phenomenal (4/5), but a little on the tough side. Say yes to the sauce! The stir fried clear noodles were also pretty yummy (4/5). I really love the side dish with the pickled cucumbers though (or maybe it's zucchini?). Almost everything had the same type of sauce, so after a while, it gets kind of old... The portions here are pretty big too, so try not to order too much in the beginning. =========== Service Our server was so sweet and very helpful! Don't let the esthitics of the exterior fool you! Its looks awfully shacky on the outside, but its a nice quaint place on the inside. The food was so good I ate here two days in a row while I stayed in Biloxi. The sweet tea is mighty good. On my first visit I had the Cham Pong (Noodles with seafood in a spicy broth) and the Bul Go Gi (Sauteed sliced beef marinated in spicy seasonings) Being the noodle fanatic I am the Cham Pong was good, had a nice kick to it. But the Bul Go Gi - it had me at hello, it had me at hello! That stuff was off the chain! The funniest things to me, was the fact that I grew up with a lot of Korean kids when I was a kid in Chicago and their parents never fixed me any of this stuff! The Food: The food was good stuff, tasty, fresh, good stuff. I've eaten at plenty of Korean joints and they've got a good thing going on here for sure. When upon entering we were not greeted, no one was there to seat us so we sat at a table that had leftover food and water that wasn't wiped down properly. Waited about 20 min until we could get her attention, mind you that we came after lunchtime so it was practically empty. After ordering we waited about another 30min for our meal to come. When our meal came she sloppily placed the side dishes and main dish on the table. No effort at all! My husband and I ate quickly so we could get the hell out of there. They have very good authentic Korean food here. The service was great too, as both the women (hostess/cooks) were patient and accommodating and told us a little about each of our dishes as they both brought the items to the table. I've had excellent Korean food before, so I had high expectations for this place, and they seem to have been met. The prices of the dishes are typical of Korean restaurants. There's nothing special about the ambiance, but they do have a big flat screen t.v. We were very pleased to see several Korean families in the restaurant as we are not very familiar with Korean cuisine. We waited at the counter and perused the menu. We waited for 5 minutes and a lady finally came up to the counter and we stated we were ready to order and she rudely interrupted and stated "wait just a minute". Then she proceeded to 2 glasses which were already clean to get drinks for a table. When she returned again she failed to acknowledge our presence as we stood there waiting and waiting! Terrible customer service. She did not even look at us/make eye contact not even once! Very rude and inconsiderate. I will most certainly NOT be returning ever! Stopped here on father's day 2018. It was packed! Surprisingly, there was only one server. A couple cooks in the back, i surmise. We ordered kimbap (OMG DELICIOUS), spicy beef, and I ordered the man doo dduk soup. Typically, the soup would be bland, and no seaweed in it, but they had their own variation. It was nice and filled with man doo, but the broth was salty. I felt bad for the server because it was busy, but understand they probably want to minimize overhead? I love this restaurant. I lived in S. Korea and this is pretty much how its like outside your chain restaurants. This place is located in a little strip mall (right next to a large comic and card store, super plus). Server was quiet but friendly, food took awhile to come out but it was wonderful. This was the first Korean food my boyfriend had had, so I suggested he get the beef bulgogi. He really enjoyed it and over stuffed himself because were staying at a hotel with no fridge and he didn't want to waste it. He'd never had the ban Chan before and I was impressed with the cucumber ones. I got the chicken bulgogi and loved it. The bulgogi sauces were a little sweeter than I'm used but was very flavorful.
