I have made several purchases from RC over the last several years. Their prices always seem to be better and their customer service is great. The salespeople that helped me this time were Julian in appliances and a Jo in furniture. Both were very helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. The delivery guys were great also. I've always loved RCWilley and their employees. Really expensive, but great, lasting products! I have bought a lot of stuff at RCWILLEY. Just purchased a Fridge and Washer and Dryer. Delivery service was professional and fast. Caroline is the best! They did call the wrong number for delivery service though because it didn't update in their system. Along with email address, and couple other things. Make sure you update your system and can update your system. That's the only complaint I have. this is my 4th review of RC Willey. they have improved some since my last purchases. the delivery people are fine and I have no more problems with them. they were on time and professional.... I got a good deal on a new range... a good price...it was delivered quickly.. they were slow to take my payment and did threaten to cancel my purchase and delivery due to their own not recalling me as i was told...so hours later I called them back after a 4-hour lunch (they said they took) and paid in full.. besides that bad service, my new range is great. so today i give them a generous 3 stars read more

Will never shop here again. In the past 10 years or so since coming to Reno my family has spent well over 50k at your company. Plain and simple companies like wayfair and overstock will put RC willey out of business and for the better. Purpose of having a retail business is one that can deliver some form of customer service. Being a sleaze ball salesman on The sales floor does not qualify for customer service. The customer experience from online orders to pickup as well as in store purchases are simply behind all competitors. I have always had problems no matter what with this place. I challenge anyone who plans in purchasing product from this store to reconsider if your time is valuable and you don't plan on being taken advantage of by their policies that never deliver. If this store is still open by the year 2020 it would take a mass exodus of current personnel. Rc Willey- thank you for the response. If you want specific examples of your operational flaws of your store on steamboat parkway first refer to your mission statement posted clearly above several employees at the pickup counter who clearly do not understand what the mission statement means. However blaming the employees would not solve the issue. Your solution to have the same managers call me that hired, trained and hold these people to the standards they themselves are to uphold would be a waste of THEIR time because they are the issue. Answer this question - how often does your management team conduct follow up on the employees so they clearly understand their role and give positive and constructive feedback based on performance? If YOU can't answer that question Honestly, then my kids won't be buying toys from the same store I did and won't be buying furniture and TV's from you. read more

I have been forced to leave this review in a desperate attempt to get a resolution with this company. We ordered a significant amount of furniture for our entire house. Months later, the store still has not completed our order. The first delivery resulted in damage to our garage concrete slab. Trying to resolve this has been a nightmare, and we still have no idea where our claim is. The last of our furniture was supposed to be delivered yesterday, but the driver called during the delivery window and said he wasn't coming. He made no effort to reschedule. I contacted my salesman and he advised me to call a manager, but the managers won't make themselves available to answer my calls. This company puts on a great face when you walk in the door. Once the sale has been made, they are awful. By the way, Adam, from corporate, don't bother putting your generic stamp of "I'm so sorry please leave your phone number" message that you put on every bad review. Your store has my phone number. Corporate has my phone number and account number. You only call me or email me when my credit card statement is ready to be paid. read more

We were looking for a sectional. We had gone just about every store in town but really liked what we saw at RC Willey's. They said they could deliver our sectional in a week. That was fine. On the day they came to deliver our order, we only received half of our order. No call in advance, just here you go and we don't know when the other pieces are coming. I called customer service. In three weeks I will receive one piece and the following week the final piece. They did offer to take it back or give me me a (yet to be determined) gift card. I took the gift. I purchased a sofa, recliner, washer and dryer on July 4 for our new home that would be closing Oct 1. Nearly 3 months in advance. They told me a 20% down payment would hold the inventory until the delivery date. So I put the 20% down. Sometime in early September I received a phone call telling me the items I purchased were still in the warehouse, ready for delivery and they were confirming the October 1st delivery date. I confirmed that we were on schedule for Oct.1. When they arrived on October 1, they were missing the 2 power recliner ends and brought the wrong recliner chair. They blamed COVID, for the items being on back order. On the 1st of October, they told me the rest would be delivered on October 12. They called on the 13th saying it would be delivered on the 20th. I had to reach out to them on the 21st and now they have no idea where my order is or when I can expect delivery. I told them to come get it and take it away, I need to go somewhere to purchase a complete sofa. They told me they couldn't pick it up for two weeks. Will not shop here again. read more

We ended up leaving empty handed and will have to purchase elsewhere even though the store had what we wanted. Customer service and credibility were really lacking. Well this is the placce to buy Sony 3D glasses. I bought the last pair they had of the Titanium style. These were cheaper that buying ANYWHERE else I could find, even online. But dont come here just for the glasses, I have bought meny items from here. A dishwasher, that I love, also my frig, I also love. Also bought a surround sound receiver from here, sounds great. They do have a good selection of furniture, appliances, and electronics. In the back they have a clearance area that has great bargins too. read more

I wish there was an option for zero stars... My fiance and I spent a little over $12,000 at RC Willey before we moved into our new home together. We were very happy with the deals and the sales people were very nice. Everything changed once they started delivering our furniture. Our bedroom set had to be taken back 4 times before we finally said that we would take the 30% off they were offering us, this was because the drawers on one of the nightstands wasn't working properly.... this was something I was willing to deal with for the 30% off. About 3 months went by our bedroom furniture started looking HORRIBLE. 3 of the pieces have wood splitting on them and our main dresser has 3 drawers that aren't working properly. We have made service requests but have been cancelled on every time. Not to mention when THEY cancel I have to call back to re schedule... WTH ALSO we ordered 3 bar stools. 2 of them have already been repaired by them and looked great for about 2 months before the fell apart again. We called to make another appointment for them to come out and fix them. They did come, but said they were unable to fix one of them and would let customer service know that they needed to order us another one. I was completely fine with this until about 2 weeks went by and I called to see what was going on. They hadn't ordered us another one and customer service was unaware of the issue. GREAT! So I asked her if she could do this for me, NOPE! They don't carry them anymore and I can't get my money back because it has been over 5 months.... Let's recap, 5 months goes by and two of them have been fixed twice with one of them unable to be fixed and now it's my fault and they want to offer me 30% off to keep them THIS IS THEIR ONLY OFFER TO THEIR CRAPPY FURNITURE. I used to really like this store. But after the recent online purchase I showed up to pick up my order at 10 a.m. promptly, which is the opening hours shown on the store's website. When I get to the store there is a paper note taped to the door stating that they do not open until 11, which has completely wasted an hour of my valuable time. If you were going to make changes like this to your scheduling, update your website. On top of that, I go to pick up my will call, which I have printed confirmation for but it's in my wife's name and they won't let me pick up the order! I have my identification with the same last name and address as the confirmation in my possession, but no. I have to lose my place in line call my wife who in turn has to call them, sit on hold, to tell them that I can pick up the order. By this time the loading dock is full and even more of my time has been wasted. This is an absolutely asinine policy and because of it and the staffs indifference about it, that is the last dollar RC Willey will ever get from me. read more

First off, there are many great things about this RC Willey - great selection, good prices, friendly service. However, their follow-up service for an order we placed recently was not great. My wife and I are moving into a new house in early October, and we needed a washer, dryer, refrigerator, and a new couch. We found everything we wanted at RC Willey at decent prices (Labor Day sale!), so ordered everything with plenty of lead time to get our delivery by our move-in date (couch takes 6 weeks or so). A few days after placing the order, we heard from our salesman that one of the fabrics we picked out was discontinued, and we needed to pick a new one. No big deal, we sent him a different choice. He told us all was fine, and we assumed our order was proceeding normally. Then, a couple days ago, we again hear from him that the 2nd fabric we chose was also unavailable, and our couch had not even been ordered yet. This is 4.5 weeks after we placed the order. We had no idea that our couch had not even been ordered yet, and our move-in date is only a couple weeks away. This means we will not have a couch until a month after we move in. We specifically ordered the couch early, so it would be ready by our move-in date. This is really disappointing, especially after we spent over $5,000 on furniture and appliances. We expect better customer service after spending so much money. To their credit, they did offer us a $200 gift certificate because of this, which is appreciated. But we would much rather just have a couch for our move-in date as we planned for. read more

My first experience shopping at RC Willey was mixed. Bought about $5k worth of new furniture. Their sales process is somewhat strange and the sales associates are quick to write up a ticket and rush off. Not a fan of the experience But making a return turned into a nightmare and ended with me cancelling ALL of my purchased furniture from a few days earlier. A $281 return cost them all of my recent orders as I will not do business with them again. Reminds me of a used car sales lot. RETURNS: I bought a twin and full bunk-bed mattress and several hours later returned the items after the sales associate told me that I had 15 days to return the mattresses if I did not like them. I got them home and did not like them and purchased memory foam instead of a traditional mattress. I called to return the items and was transferred three times. I was then told that I could not return the mattresses. After working with a very nice office supervisor who refunded my money promptly my quest to return the mattresses was not over. I went to drop the items off at the pickup dock and was immediately confronted by a store manager, Chris O., manager saying "...Ana would never tell you could return a mattress....you are taking advantage of RC Willey.... you are a liar..." He was angry and was yelling at me from the dock. It was a scary experience and frankly I have never had anyone question my integrity especially at a retail store. I contacted the Corporate headquarters for RC Willey while in the store and they credited my card back and then I proceeded to cancel the rest of my items scheduled for delivery. After wasting two hours of my life trying to make a return the main store manager tried to haggle me into doing store credit and other items. Quite frankly I will never do business with a snake oil shop like RC Willey again. They need to train their store managers how to enact their supposed customer service ethos. read more

We have spent a TON of money at this store. We always get great service without feeling pressured. They do work on commission so it's especially important when shopping for things like TVs and appliances that you do your homework before hand. Know your budget and what you want. I love Rc Willey. I like that they don't have pushy sales associates. Good quality furniture with great prices. Lots to choose from. I only paid $60 for delivery and its good for a year if purchases. The delivery men were nice, pleasant and fast. In and out. They called first thing in the morning to let me know what time they were going to arrive, and called when on the way. Even got a follow up call right after delivery to see how service was. Top notch! Most def will be making my future purchases there. read more

I purchased a dishwasher in October 2016. It has been serviced twice in the two years. The service company through R.C. Willey came and couldn't find anything wrong with my dishwasher. He ordered a new motor, pump, pump assembly and all new mother board. He said they are taking the "replace everything approach". I called the store this evening and talked to a manager and they are crediting my account so I can get a new dishwasher rather than wait for new parts on my broken dishwasher. Just beware. We purchased a new bed. The promise was they would haul away our old mattress. Well, they won't if there is even ONE small stain. And that is decided by the delivery drivers. Needless to say we were not pleased. They don't tell you that during the purchase process poor business practice if you ask me. Now I have to figure it out. Which is fine, however, after waiting two weeks for the delivery in the first place, I had plenty of time to either get it cleaned or come up with a plan B. Oh well. Live and learn I suppose. Went in last night looking for a new bedroom set. In the WHOLE store, I only found one white color set that I wanted, but the styling was horrible. Everything seems so dated here. I took so many pictures to show my sisters (waiting to see what I bought) because their styles are just so dated. It was bizarre! Half the store seemed to need to go into my 101 year old grandmas house, and the other half would be perfect for a late 80's/Early 90's style home. My biggest complaint are the poor stuffed bears. Animals are NOT ours to use for decor. The second we turned the corner and saw the two stuffed taxidermy bears, my husband and I were both like, "Nope. Let's go check out Ashley. ". We ended up finding a beautiful bedroom set, and they threw in a free extra night stand, a free tall dresser, and a free glass plated dresser all for $4,000.
