Despite all his mechanics being busy, he personally rolled up his sleeves and got to work. We discovered a blown hose and a fan belt that had jumped off the pulleys. He replaced both, topped off the radiator, and even noticed and fixed a few other minor issues--including adjusting the idle and making a quick repair to the carburetor. He worked quickly, efficiently, and with genuine care. In less than an hour, my Chevelle was running beautifully again--and he only charged me $200. Honest, trustworthy, and incredibly skilled, this gentleman is everything you hope to find in a mechanic but rarely do. If you're looking for a shop that treats your car like their own and puts integrity first, Herbst High Performance is the place to go. I can't recommend them highly enough.

I told the guy before booking the appointment that I wanted their basic oil change for a truck I don't drive. He told me it would be $29. Boom, I booked the appointment. I show up. They do the oil change. At payment, I'm told it's $37. I scoff and tell them what I was quoted. The guy just looks at me and says, well... it's $35 + tax. So that's $37. I had a few options there, but the truth is my time was more valuable than the few extra dollars. So I paid it without uttering a single complaint. But I won't be back again, and I will be sure to tell others about my experience.
