I purchased a sway bar from Speed Inc. online site which was confirmed at time of payment. When it had not been shipped 4 days later, I contacted the company to see why shipping had been delayed. They told me the price had increased from the one they posted and now was demanding another $55 before they would ship. They also gave me the choice of cancelling the order, which I did. Very disappointed that the Company would not honor the price on a product I had already paid for. They did refund my money. read more

I recently resurrected my 97' C5 after laying dormant for a decade. I dealt with Tony D. And layer out the plans I had to turn my beloved vette (first owner) into a street beast. At 65 years of age I wanted to drive this car once more before clutching and power shifting was beyond my physicality (it's not that bad...really). I put my specs out to several tuners in the area as well as out of state (i.e. Lingenfelter) but got very little respond after 2 weeks of following up). Tony from Speed, Inc. was the only person that followed up and responded to my request for an estimate. He was quick to figure out what was needed (including most of the unforeseen essential costs) and we agreed on a project and costs. BUT! The real value Tony and Speed came down the road a bit. After doing an initial tune to get the car back on the road (for licensing/plates, etc.) Tony and crew hit me with the honest truth...that the Car was in worse shape than they thought was worth pouring good money into. He showed me areas where the car was in questionable shape, through photos, and it made sense. But rather than dash my dreams, Tony came up with a milder alternate scheme and it seemed like a perfect middle ground solution. When I finally picked up my baby, and we started it up....the new rumble and responsiveness made me fall back in love with my machine. I really appreciate the candor and the extra miles these guys went through to make an old gear head happy. They could've easily just taken my money and let the car fall apart as I drove it in excess, but they were the voice of reason. read more

I took my 2017 Camaro ss here for jba shorty header installed. I bought headers my self for $800. They said it was going to be $450 for labor 2-3 days . They ended up calling after 3 days saying I bought cheep headers and to buy there's for $650 . They put mine on then took them off and called and said they don't fit because they are cheap. I ended up haveing jba contact them and they put headers back on but double gasket them at the block . Had nothing but problems with after getting car back . I took car to shop jba recommended and they fixed problem. Don't wast your with it's a joke read more

The crew at Speed Inc. know their stuff! For anyone who is considering taking their performance car to a "regular" mechanic.....don't. Standard mechanics work on standard things and are not bad for "cookie cutter" basics (brakes, etc), however the people at Speed Inc. are knowledgeable far, far, beyond the basics. Pricing is fair and reasonable, knowledge is superb, and they do not mind answering questions from someone who loves their car yet is not knowledgeable enough to "talk the talk" Awesome work, guys! read more

Had these guys install a strange rear end and do a tune for me a few years back on my '00 Trans Am. Suffice to say I was happy to come back and have a T-56 rebuild installed by them and a few minor things taken care of and now the car drives better than new! Labor rates fair work quality crap follow up crap Long story short paid over $700 for header install and regret going here. Broken spark plugs, missing bolts, wiring in wrong places, heat shields not installed correctly. The best part is the drive home where my starter engaged on the highway because the lazy ass mechanic didn't adjust the terminal. Was told they let him go after. Needless to say After installing a new starter I was over a grand into this project and completely unsatisfied. Was offered a full "road tune" originally but then when contacted about adjusting the tune that was in it from them, they wanted to charge. Maybe this is isolated, they have good rep on forums. I will never return. read more

I would absolutely recommend Speed Inc. I had a Borla Exhaust put on my Corvette and the process from start to finish was simple. They got me an appointment within less than a week and when I arrived for installation was told they would get to work right away. I was out within two hours with no issues. Placed a order online and they sent the package to my billing address not my shipping address, then the valve covers they sent me were the wrong finish and they said the ones I wanted were discontinued so I decided to keep these, I called Holley myself and found out they were not discontinued just on back order. They after 10 days I received the last part of my order from msd which was being drop shipped which I was never told and they didn't fit the valve covers I ordered. I don't expect them to know what every aftermarket parts fit or don't fit with each other but I emailed them and asked to return the msd coils cause I contacted msd myself and ordered the right ones and I still have not got any response. Very slow shipping and customer service. I was planning on ordering more parts like a cam and valve train but I'll go elsewhere with my business. read more

Speed Inc is a top-notch performance shop. As a person who likes to do their own work on cars, these guys have been great at providing competitive prices on stuff that you can't find at Summit or Jeg's. I've had my car dyno tuned there as well as had a set of 4.10's installed. The service was outstanding. About the only downside is that they do not do dyno tunes on Saturdays, so you'll have to leave your car with them overnight during the week. read more

This is by far THE WORST service I have ever experienced from a car shop. I've been dealing directly with Tom Izzo, who is nothing like the coach. This guy is an absolute nightmare to work with and has TERRIBLE customer service. I am taking my car elsewhere to fix what these guys couldn't.
