One even told me it would cost $6000 to replace the compresor. I was super nervous because everyone was saying something different and I was afraid to spend money and then be wrong. Very UNPROFESSIONAL! It's sad how angry Steve is. My ac went out and the ETA was 3:00-5:00 PM it was 4:15 and my home was 99 inside. I have to small children that were not looking so well. There is a store literally a block away from me so I called them before leaving to the store to get an update on ETA since it was getting closer to 5:00PM and Steve said another 1 to 2.5 hrs! We are HOT! We have been without AC for Almost 24 hrs so it only gets worst. We told Steve to please call us when they are on their way as we will be inside a store with AC 5 min away, he said okay and calls when the repair man was already outside (20 min later not 1 or 2.5 hrs later). We quickly headed over only to get a phone call saying "get the fuck over here" I understand that we need them more than they need us and they clearly took advantage of it. We arrived only to find his guy outside saying "sorry we can't service you guys my boss said no" And drove off . I followed him and took pictures to get a time stamp for the owner. This was clearly the reason they were looking for to go home early. Steve you know that you were the one who called us and cursed at us, God know that you are lying. I should have wrote this early, but great company. We had an AC compressor failure on Labor Day and they came and checked out our system. They diagnosed my issue and after reviewing the options we decided to replace the compressor. The best part was that they also were able to find a brand new compressor that day, when most businesses were closed, and have it installed and running within a few hours. However, Atomic Air is that exception when they serviced my disabled brother's AC unit on 2 occasions. They could have gotten away with murder, as 2 other repair companies attempted to, by trying to convince my brother to buy a new unit. Steve Eller at Atomic Air is a true professional and he is honest as the day is long! I used him a couple of years ago and he did a great job so I called him yesterday. He showed up (as promised at 10:30am) this morning. It turns out all three of my air conditioning units had loose caps and all three needed Freon. One of the units required 3 pounds and one unit required 1 pound. No wonder our air conditioner upstairs was never getting cooler than 80 degrees at night! Also, our downstairs unit never got cooler than 80 either so now, problem solved! My son just walked into my home office and said "Mom, it's freezing in here"!! Yep! Isn't that the best thing ever when you live in Las Vegas?? Our AC hasn't been working right since 2022, not cooling down to 78 the temp we have set......we are experiencing very hot weather and over the last couple of weeks; our A/c hasn't been cooling much at all, and running 5 - 8 hours an evening when it clicks on. I called the Management company we rent from; and requested to have an A/c repairman come out to check the problem; they responded; that Atomic Air would be out since I called late afternoon on a Friday; that they would be out early next week....it's going to be in the high 90s the next 2 days........this is what you call efficient service .....Atomic called on Friday PM and said they would be out by 9am Saturday the next day...... They arrived before 9am and the problem (no coolant) was fixed in less than a half hour. I found Atomic through my home warranty. The other day I thought I heard the tone of the condenser fan change so I put a request through the home warranty for service around 9 at night on a Tuesday. Atomic Air was sent the request. Since it wasn't an emergency I was expecting to get an appointment by the weekend. I imagine this is the busy season for repairs. Not the case. They called early in the morning to set up a time (which we missed, our phone was buried). After calling them back they scheduled us within the hour! Talk about service! I know no company can do that all the time but it was much appreciated. I had family home for the visit but they took a look and replaced what needed to be replaced. Happy camper. He was at my house at 11am on Saturday (today) and by 11:30am I've got cold air again. I did not even feel the heat -- literally. I called based on a referral from a friend. I initially got a quote from another company. Both companies had the same diagnosis, but the first companies price was almost twice as high. Sears would not repair my Carrier central air conditioner under warranty on a Sunday, but I was able to hire Atomic Air, LLC - Las Vegas Valley & Henderson Cooling & Heating to fix it. The temperature here on Sunday was 112 degrees so getting the system repaired quickly became a priority. I was in the process of selling my house, and a home inspection found the upstairs drain pan and lines clogged and overflowing with water. Steve Eller responded fix drainage, however ever he notices the coils were rusted through causing the drainage problem.
