Honestly, who knew how much you work is needed in owning a house. Thankful for the education that FastResponse Services has given us to keep our house up to date. We first called them out when our AC broke down last summer and they were quick to send over a tech to come and fix it. Super reasonable pricing and provided education in our air filters. Air filters are annoying to change, so they told us about the UV air filter which purifies air without having to change the air filter every month or so. Totally sold. And since then, we've been on their maintenance program which has been a huge lifesaver since they come and check it twice a year to make sure it's running correctly. This time we called them out because... did you know that if you have a water heater, you need to get it drained yearly. I sure didn't. Bryce called to set up our yearly A/C maintenance call. At this time I mentioned that I was having this annoying sound coming from my attic. The heater would go on for 15 second, (I had Alexa time it) then turn off for 30 seconds, back on for 15 seconds, off for 30 seconds, etc., etc., and so forth. Since the only thing in my attic is the heat system I was thinking there was a problem with the system and asked Bryce if that was covered in my contract. Bryce didn't miss a beat and said that he would have a technician here within an hour. True to his word Edgar showed up within the hour and checked my system from top to bottom and could find anything wrong. But like all the employees at Fast Response Edgar was a professional and couldn't leave without finding what the problem was. He checked every room in my house, even the garage, looking for anything that could be causing the problem. By this time it was driving him crazy so he empathized with me understanding what it would be like having to listen to that on, off sound 24 hours a day. Edgar could find nothing and as one last attempt to find the cause he said he would just walk around the outside of the house, not really having any hope there would be something there that could cause it. Well it turns out my next door neighbor's A/C is running and is going on for 15 seconds and off for 30 seconds and that is vibrating in my house. If it wasn't for Edgar being so diligent we would never, ever have found the problem. Edgar should get The Employee of the Month Award. Wow. Just shocked by the service I received . Was reffered to them from angies list. And yes theyre fast! The first to call and had a guy out within the hour. My ac unit from the upstairs stopped working and told me he needed to replace the dual capacitor . However no photos of the new or previous one was given to me after the service was completed. Paid $377 for it. The next day heard screeching sounds from my vents. Sure enough my ac went out again. Sent out the same guy and he said now we have to change the compressor motor for about $800. This didnt really sit well with me because it was a pricey repair and so i called another company for a second opinion. I dont want to knock this company and promote the other company i used hut the guy came out for free! And diagnosed for no charge!! He even said that they didnt change out the part he said he did because he didnt see any new parts on the upstairs ac unit. Let alone a new "dual capacitor" he said they changed a fan cap. And thats it. I called fast response services for photos of the repaired items the tech did. They had none! Partially it was my fault i didnt demand any. For example they wanted to charge me $150 per pound of R22 Freon...and their quote for a new AC Capacitor was on the high end $$$$. The tech was polite and courteous, but expensive $$$$. Fast is right. I ordered a fancy new thermostat on a Monday, called them for an estimate which they gave over the phone. On Thursday the unit arrived, I called back, got an appointment for Monday 10 am - noon window. Shelly arrived at my door at 10. The old thermostat had a battery, the new one didn't. Shelly called the office to make sure the new one would work with the power source. They said yes. Thermostat installed, but it kept rebooting. Another call to the office - it's a defective unit, put the old one back. As she was doing that I processed an Amazon RMA for a replacement. The old one did not work. After scoping out the furnace wires and not finding the problem she called for a furnace expert. Mike arrived, was also stumped until he went under the house and found a blue wire which had been spliced to a white wire. With that fixed the old thermostat was back online. I paid the estimated price, and was told the return trip would be free. Replacement arrived Sunday, I called Monday, and set up an appointment for Shelly to return at 2-5 pm. AT about noon they called and asked if she could come out an hour earlier, which she did. The replacement unit was up and running in about 30 minutes, there was no charge for the return visit. I added my wi-fi info to the unit, and set it up with Alexa and Google Home voice control. Shelly was friendly, stayed positive despite all the issues, was professional, wore a mask and shoe covers, and got the job done. I was a field repair tech for TRW for many years and appreciate how she handled the job. Been there, done that. When my air conditioner and furnace need maintenance I know who I will call. read more

Our water heater sprung a leak on Thursday. A relative put me in contact with Fast Response Services that evening, and Friday morning Ricky came to give us an estimate on a replacement. Ricky took the time to talk to me about our water usage and the size of a new tank. He explained so much and answered every question I had before making a recommendation and giving me an estimate of the cost. Once I gave him the green light, he worked to clean up all the water in the garage and remove the old tank. Unfortunately, the area was too wet to replace the tank immediately , so we had to wait an additional day for him to complete the job. The worst thing was that the supply line to the tank was broken, and the water had to be shut off. Ricky suggested I use a space heater and fan to get the area dry quickly so he could come back Saturday to install the new tank. Thankfully, that suggestion worked and he came and efficiently installed the new tank as well as new venting, new water line, a new pan and new drainage and pressure release lines. I learned after he finished that he is off on Saturdays and returned to do the installation because he didn't want us to be without water until Monday. What a caring and selfless gesture! This along with his professional manner and knowledge is why I highly recommend Fast Response Services to anyone needing HVAC or plumbing done. I called Fast Response to check out the air conditioning system in my house. I called them because they were running a special and I used them before at another property and thought they were very thorough. They found the cooling coils were rusted out and needed to be replaced. Fast Response gave us a very competitive quote and did a great job putting the equipment in. Our A/C went out Friday morning and it was hot so that was not good. I have a home warranty so I filed a claim at noon and didn't hear back from them other than an email that they were looking for someone to come out that is "in network". Saturday morning, no news and we had a miserable hot night at home. The warranty company emailed and said I can choose a company to work with, get approval for repair costs, pay them myself and they would reimburse me. I called numerous companies and they said they will not work with home warranty companies. When I called Fast Responsive Services and explained my situation with my home warranty, they said they can work with me. Not only that, they showed just a few hours after I called.
