I rarely write negative reviews, but my experience with Victory Park Motors deserves to be shared…read more I first visited the dealership about a year ago when I was shopping for a Mercedes-AMG G63. During that visit, I found the staff to be rude, dismissive, and at times condescending. I decided to keep looking elsewhere. Recently, I drove by and noticed they still had the G63s on the lot, so I called simply to ask the asking price. The information displayed on the vehicle only showed the original window sticker and MSRP from when the vehicle was sold new, not the current selling price. I greeted the person on the phone by saying "Good morning" three separate times and never received a greeting in return. Instead of answering a simple question from a legitimate customer, the call was ended before I could even get the price. I am a business owner myself, and I understand the importance of treating every customer with respect. You never know who is ready to buy a vehicle, and basic courtesy costs nothing. I wasn't looking for special treatment--just the asking price and a professional conversation. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. Because of the way I was treated both in person and over the phone, I will be purchasing my G-Wagon elsewhere.

The salesman Ben was a pleasure to work with. No high pressure bull crap, just quick answers to all my initial questions with no foxy pauses to consult with the manager or finance team. I felt like I was working with a neighbor and that he was on my side. I even decided to consider a second vehicle mid-negotiations and Ben was great about it and listened carefully to my concerns that I was worried about a 2-wheel drive car in New England winters. We landed on the Sonata and I took it for a test drive. My initial impressions of the car were very high. But 4 days and 400 miles later I am in love with the car. I have been fortunate enough to own many expensive vehicles in my lifetime including the truck I also presently own which is a high luxury vehicle costing over 3 times the price of my Sonata. I can say so far that at any price the Sonata is one of the most comfortable and best performing vehicles I have owned. It is very futuristic. The interior especially feels like a gaming cockpit and the seats are as comfortable as any expensive gaming chair. I couldn't recommend it highly enough. I will update this review as the years go by to further expand on my experience but so far I could not be happier with my 2025 Hyundai Sonata and the entire team at McFarland Hyundai

Terrible terrible terrible Don't go there…read more Looked at a car on Friday, ANDRE texted us on Sunday telling us he was working and said we can come look at truck again and he would have it ready to test drive again. We texted him saying we would be there around 3;30, he said sounds good, we get there truck not out front ready to test drive, keys nowhere to be found, car could not be located in the lot , after about 30 minutes he tells me it was sold on Saturday. Andre lied to us, truck was not even there, waste of a drive back down there and waste of time. Andre should be fired along with the sales manager that was there as well. Pollini Reed ( sales manager ) should be ashamed in how you handled the situation, you should be fired too.

I had looked at a couple of other cars at dealerships nearby but liked how pleasant a particular salesman was, Mark Casper. Anyway, he wasn't pushy, he was kind and cheery and set us up with a test drive. We took two days before we went back but in the meantime, unlike all the other places, Mark didn't stalk me or pester me to "hurry before it's gone". I really appreciated that as some places are still calling me endlessly and annoying me to come back and make a deal. Pushy salespeople = no sale from me. I ended up getting a 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe and they had it freshly cleaned (although it was already really clean) and newly inspected and it was quick and easy. My experience was wicked good. This place did right by me. Thanks Mark and team at Portsmouth Superstore.

I am beyond frustrated with my experience at Mercedes-Benz Portsmouth, where I purchased my GLE as…read morea Certified Pre-Owned vehicle in February 2025. I do have to say, during the buying process, everyone I dealt with was solid. They were quick to respond and made the process easy for someone purchasing out of state. At the same time, I guess this is what any good salesperson does trying to close a deal. About 2 months after my purchase, my engine light came on. What I thought would have been a simple reset has turned into a complete nightmare. I took the car to my local Mercedes Benz service center and they revealed AdBlue in the coolant system--a diesel fluid not used in gas cars. What?! The total cost to repair this ended up being over $3,500 (replacing coolant reservoir, temperature sensors, both coolant pumps, the thermostat and the changeover valve). I have driven the car less than 5,000 miles and literally have not even opened the hood of the car. Research online (Benzworld.org) states that it would take AdBlue anywhere from 3,000-6,000 miles to cause the type of corrosion in my vehicle. This fits the exact timeline of my vehicle. The worst part is they tried to say that I am responsible for putting the substance in the car, which voids my warranty. I wouldn't be surprised if they respond to this review and continue to deflect responsibility. I have never in my life owned a diesel car or even heard of AdBlue until this debacle. The car was never serviced by anyone else during my ownership, indicating it was present at the time of purchase and missed during the CPO process. This accusation is not only baseless but insulting, as it shifts blame onto me for their oversight. While they provided me the necessary documents to submit the dispute, they refused to take responsibility, leaving me to fight for warranty coverage on my own. I'm now forced to escalate through a formal dispute process, all because of their failure to uphold CPO standards. I expected better from Mercedes Benz and am left feeling let down and disrespected. It does not bring me any joy to write this review. Mistakes happen, I get that, but people should own up to their mistakes instead of placing blame elsewhere. The reality is, other buyers should be aware this dealership will have zero problem taking a defective car and labeling it CPO. My piece of advice would be to avoid this dealership AT ALL COSTS. If you see a vehicle from Portsmouth that you like, at the price you like, DO NOT BUY IT. Use that listing to shop at another dealership to get the same vehicle.
