I paid like $65 for this amazing 22er HP monitor for my desk. Works perfectly. Shoutout to the elderly gentleman that recommended it to me.

I cannot recommend RE:PC enough! Seattleites, stop buying cords that go missing from your home on Amazon. Going to RE:PC is even more convenient!!! They have literally everything you could possibly imagine, and most cords range from like 99¢ to $3, if that. You can buy anything and everything technology related here, and the workers are geniuses and extremely helpful. Plus they have a great 30 day return policy if something goes awry. Technology related waste is no joke! Considering a secondhand option saves you money and helps the planet... so why not just do it? In the past 3 months i have purchased a computer monitor, SD cards, HDMI cords, and used CDs for a bargain. Most things are refurbished and they are very honest about conditions. Some pieces are mint condition, some pieces are sold for parts. They had a very nice selection of iMacs as well. Also, this location DOES NOT offer repair services, that is something their Tukwila location offers.

I stopped by on a quest with The Homie for computer and stereo gadgets back on 8/14/21. Re-PC is totally much more than that. All electronic tech under the sun, plus they have a mini computer museum off to the side. I like the concept of these vast items not clogging a landfill and a resource for folks who have various electronic project needs. Knowledgeable and helpful staff. This location is Seattle's SoDo industrial district is large. There's also a vast, much bigger location also further south in Tukwila.

    I'm delighted with Re-PC

I must say over the years, I've had WONDERFUL service at Re-PC. I've probably bought 3 computers there. I needed a new mouse and I was treated the same as if I had bought a 2000 buck computer. I could also tell by the interactions that guys there just enjoyed helping people and were to the point, but also fun and light hearted.

Great parts at a reasonable price. Good selection of hard to find components which has helped me round out my vintage pc collection.

The prices here are even higher from what you would find on eBay. Absolutely ridiculous.

I used to love this place, I can no longer shop here. My future purchases will be made online or at other local businesses.

With careless prudence, I watched some YouTubes and attempted to retrieve the data myself (I even used a magnetic bit on the screws) - FAIL! My wife was in a panic and I was in whatever is beyond the dog house. When I saw that Ace had a Seattle location, I liked the idea of hand-delivering my precious drive (the first place I found was in Canada). I called Ace and was told to ship it to their Texas location since that is where their clean room is located. I appreciated their upfront reasonable/competitive pricing, and sense that they had a team who knew what they were doing and who were capable of salvaging our digital memories. So, I trusted my failed drive to FedEx with the maximum allowable insurance. Ace let me know when they received it, e-mailed me with their findings and their plan. I called the technician to discuss/confirm the plan. Ultimately, Ace recovered EVERYTHING and sent our data back to us on a new external hard drive (and included our old one as well)! I was a little miffed that they sent it USPS with only $50 insurance, but then learned that they keep the electronic data for 5 days in case something goes wrong in the return shipment. BRILLIANT! I don't plan to ever need their services again, but if I do, Ace is the place!

The Recycling Depot - Binford vs the recycling depot‍

I Came Here On Purpose...and They Blew It!…read more With gas pushing $6 per gallon, I decided to explore a closer scrap yard option instead of driving all the way to Kent. So I came to The Recycling Depot deliberately -- on purpose -- to compare their prices against other yards in the Seattle area. I left knowing one thing for certain: they don't know what fair pricing looks like. They paid me $0.03/lb for steel. That's right -- three cents. My load was 700 lbs of steel, and they handed me $21.00 for it. That same steel would've been worth around $42 elsewhere (or more depending on the yard). Add in stainless, aluminum, and brass, and my total ticket came to $31.25. Laughable. For comparison, Binford Metal Recycling in Kent would've paid me double on steel alone. That's $21 straight out of my pocket they basically stole -- and that's just one metal. The difference on a full load like mine? Easily $50-$60. Real money. Real loss. And the worst part? No transparency. No explanation. Just: weighed it, printed it, paid you, next. If you don't know scrap prices, you'll get taken. If you do, you'll never return. They failed the test. I came prepared, and they got exposed. I won't be back -- and neither should you!

I don't know how they found their pricing, but I reviewed the receipt and looked up the pricing and they paid 1/2 of what they should have. i still walked away with $100, but it should have been $250 after I looked up the pricing for each metal. it was convenient that they're open 7 days a week. need to work on their customer service and being more accountable and fair.
