We ordered: - BLT (Thursday it is the Thursday special and comes with fries and a drink for $12) - Cheesesteak (obviously) with onions, with cheese wiz as the Lord intended - Mozzarella Jawns - I've never heard of that before but they're a very wide, sorta flatish cheese stick. I think they are named after an app from Bar Jawn in Manayunk (a Philadelphia neighborhood). Took it to go. It comes with house made chips and I ate those most of the way home. I'm normally not a fan of house made kettle style chips but these were great! Too salty for my husband but just right for me so your mileage may vary. The hot out of the fryer mozzarella and fries did not fare well on the 12 minute drive home but when I got to the house I popped them in the air fryer and they crisped back up to perfection. My husband had the BLT and he said it was delicious. The bacon was a little more crisp than he does it for himself but that's a personal preference thing. The tomatoes and lettuce were very fresh. As a BLT aficionado, he was a fan. The real star here was the cheesesteak. My husband said "this is better than the cheesesteaks I've had in Philadelphia" and he was not wrong. The meat was cooked perfectly, chopped and tender. Seasoned but not so much that the onions couldn't shine. Onions were browned and lightly softened, not soggy. The bread was delicious, soft and soaked in their homemade cheese wiz. Their cheese wiz? A national treasure. If I could order it by the tub I would and I'd never struggle to get my kids to eat their veggies again. It's that good. The whole thing was a 12/10.
