I normally don't leave negative reviews, because I really do enjoy the food at CoreLife Eatery. I recently ordered a large grilled chicken bowl, and the flavor was great as always. However, I noticed my large bowl actually had less chicken than my daughter's regular-sized bowl. Before ordering, I specifically asked the employee behind the counter if the large bowl would include more chicken, and he assured me it would. That's why the portion difference was disappointing. I'm sharing this more as constructive feedback than a complaint, because I think the owners should know there seems to be some inconsistency with portions. The food itself was very good. I'd just appreciate more consistency, especially when paying extra for a larger size. read more

The vinaigrette is overly vinegary, while the ranch tastes too heavy on mayonnaise. The purple rice is also bland. My favorite is the Tuna Poke Fire Bowl. It's a bed of kale with ahi tuna, shredded cabbage,quinoa, carrots, cucumber, scallions, avocado, and almonds. We order from here a lot at work. It's a great option for something healthy. I usually get one of the Box meals with rice, slaw, protien (chicken usually) and 2 sides. I top it with Boom Boom sauce and honestly, I wish they were more heavy handed with it, as it's good! My only complaint, which one location can't really change since it's a chain, but they need more side options. The only green option is Brussel sprouts which are always burnt. What's the point of ordering ahead for a pick up at a specific time when it's not ready on time? Then to have people who walked in after get helped before you. This needs to be fixed. Generally wouldn't leave one stars, but the fact this isn't the first time this has happened is kind of a joke. Also while two people are working and two are just standing around doesn't give a good impression on the business. Ok, so I'm impressed. This place really wants to make you feel you eating enough but not making it like one leave of this and that and make it a meal. It's healthy yummy filling food. You get to choose from their signature dishes or you can build your own bowl.l, greens, grains or broth. Very fresh ingredients and plenty of choices available. They have freshly made drinks and fountain drinks. They have a pretty large seating area combined with outside seating for the warmer weather. The manager Domieic was actively making sure every guest felt acknowledged while helping, checking on customers with genuine interest making a thoughtful recommendation that I had asked for, he did it all without making me feel like a burden. The reason for the 3 stars is the disorderliness and general messiness of the whole place, especially the food line. Just looks gross with sauces dripping over the sides of the containers and lack of any sense of attention to detail. The restaurant seems understaffed for the level of service and atmosphere they're aiming to achieve. Despite being overwhelmed, the workers still seemed to have a good attitude and provided good customer service. CoreLife Eatery is an American style quick service spot that specializes in and focuses on the cleaner way to eat through offering a variety of healthier options such as grain/rice/broth bowls, salads, wraps while also having lighter varieties of a few favorites such as tacos and mac n cheese! This is one of two locations here in Tennessee, with the other being in Murfreesboro. All their other locations are spread out from South Carolina to Ohio to Indiana and Illinois. My office is not far from here, so CoreLife stays high on the list for delivery or pick ups for working lunches. I usually go with the Southwest Grilled Chicken and Purple Rice Bowl. For all intents and purposes, it is a southwestern chicken salad with a scoop of purple rice on it, but that is not a bad thing at all and is quite tasty! I got a smoothie which was great and I got southwest chicken and purple rice. The flavors were so so unique, mine had a lot of dressing so I would say light on that if we went again. I walked in to ask if we could bring our dog in the patio. It was about 5:00 pm. As I walked toward the female cashier, she looked at me and turned her back and walked away from me! The young man serving food was extra helpful!! I wish I could commend him by name! He actually went in the back to verify that our dog was welcome. As someone who eats gluten-free and dairy free, CoreLife Eatery is one of the best places in Franklin. The food is healthy and you can get in and get your food quick.. The way you order is similar toChipotle. When I tell them about my allergies, they quickly change out their gloves and offer to, personally take me all the way down the line to the cashier. The most amazing thing here is the steak and the Thai cashew sauce. I usually get a bed of spinach leaves or mixed greens along with rice and all the toppings. We love it. There's always something missing or the food is cold etc. When you bring the issue up, you're met with rudeness and apathy.
