Been a customer for a while now and service and billing started off great. But now it takes several calls to fix an issue. Missed deliveries are a constant problem then even though they have been told if it is after we are closed do not leave water outside they still do it anyway.WHEN WE SIGNED UP WE GAVE THEM OUR HOURS THEY SAID NO PROBLEM WELL ITS A PROBLEM . Next constant issue is giving us plastic cups, have told them several times we dont need them as we can buy them cheaper somewhere else if we need them. They leave them anyway at 5.99 every time. My last three deliveries have been canceled. I have been given no explanation as to why. When I contact an agent through the chat they tell me that I canceled it. I have not. I get an email the morning of delivery saying the driver is on their way. They never show up and when I login to my account it says canceled. The customer service agents are not helpful one bit. This last time I asked that a manager contact me ASAP. Never heard from one. They have no problem charging my account monthly and jacking up prices. Unless you have time to watch your bill every month and make sure they don't overcharge you, this company is not for you. Multiple months in a row I would pay for products that never showed up, and I would realize months later that they still charged me for the products. Because this kept happening, I called to remove myself from automatic payments, which they said was not an option. This was obviously super weird and I wanted to discontinue my service with them, but they convinced me to stay with free delivery starting immediately. I agreed. Four months later, I realized they were still charging me for delivery every month, and when I emailed them about it, they said it was too late for them to refund the delivery charge. I probably should have read the reviews before signing up with them for water delivery. Somehow I ended up paying $160 for a month of two water deliveries. I'm not even renting a dispenser. So, I canceled my service, which I had to call to do. They said they would cancel and come pick up the empty bottles in two weeks for no charge. I got charged $20 for the empty bottle pick up. I let it go. Then I got another water delivery and without any notice. I called again. They said they could not remove the charge for the water. I Confirmed that they were canceling my account and I would not receive any more deliveries and they were going to come pick up the empties (again in 2 weeks!) without a charge. They confirmed. I even received a confirmation email. I just received ANOTHER delivery. They haven't even picked up the empty bottles yet. I have had it with them. They are the absolute worse! read more

Had this service for only 1 month, but would never recommend. My delivery date was changed without notice to a day my facility was closed. I contacted support days in advance requesting to cancel that delivery and reschedule. I received confirmation of the reschedule; however, the delivery was still made and I was charged. Conveniently, there was no photo evidence of proof of delivery in their "Proof of Delivery" section online. I contacted support again asking for a refund as I did not receive any product and yet was charged. I was told a supervisor would contact me shortly, but they never did. I ended up having to dispute the transaction with my credit card company and requesting a chargeback for merchandise not delivered. Additionally, canceling is a pain and their representatives beat around the bush to try and prevent you from canceling. Avoid this company, just buy your own cooler and water bottles. read more

After realizing we can get just-as-clean water delivered from others at half the price, we decided to cancel after a couple of years of service. The cancellation process is all you need to know about their customer service: Submit request in their portal, told to wait a couple of days. Receive an email asking the reasons for cancellation, told to wait a couple of days. Receive another email, a week after original request, saying I have to call customer service to cancel. I call customer service: 11 min wait for 1st agent who says they have to transfer me to cancellation agent. Another 11 min wait for 2nd agent who says I've been mis-directed and they have to transfer me again. "There are no supervisors available". Each time they have to verify my identity and account. Finally get to right agent (who is actually delightful) and after a long conversation closed the account after a 43 minute call. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I started my water service with Palomar water 7 years ago. I loved their service and their water. Two years ago Palomar was acquired by Ready Refresh and we have had problems ever since. Getting ahold of someone from customer service is nearly impossible. And they never respond to your email Inquiries. They make quitting them virtually impossible. They auto debit from my account every month and I can't even cancel that on their App. I went 5 weeks without receiving water deliveries after they "promised" it would arrive. I even got a text message from the driver saying they would come that day and Nothing! I was fed up with being strung along, promised deliveries for literally 3 months that never came and being charged a hidden "rental" fee on a cooler unit I owned !! Like many of the other reviewers on here I was with Palomar water and they switched to Nestlé ready refresh. I canceled the service and for a year and a half they have been charging my card $3.25. I spent A very long time on hold and eventually when I reached customer service they promised me it was taken care of. A year and a half later, and many phone calls, emails and even contacting Better Business Bureau it is still happening. I'm going to have to change my credit card number in order to get them to stop which is highly unfair to me to have to go through all of this. Awful and terrible customer service. What a scam! I wish I would have read the reviews before purchasing this service from two nice women who came to my door. I barely used it since prices went up. The women never told me there was a rental fee for the unit. They told me the dispenser was "free" but I then I was billed for the equipment. Should have canceled right away after that deception. Now, I just canceled because the prices have gotten too high and there is a $50 fee to recondition the equipment. Wow. I have probably spent $100 for just possessing the equipment between rental fees and $50 bogus fee...and getting maybe two deliveries! Expensive water....stay away. read more

If I could give this company 0 stars I would. I am so frustrated with their non- existent customer service. They no longer answer calls when you call their line but instead request that you go through their app or email. I have reached out through the app 3 times and also emailed them 3 times. I need to cancel my subscription with them because the business the water is being sent to is closed. I'm pretty sure you guys missed some deliveries and still charged me... I see I'm having the same issue many are. Water has been out the scheduled date for delivery does not match consumption. We use 1 bottle a week most months.. however they deliver about every 6-8 weeks when ever they feel like it. I will get this last order... and cancel. I see they don't answer the phone much... sad because at first you guys were great. They do not take customer phone calls and when you are lucky enough to actually get thru and someone answers after 30 minutes, the agent puts you on hold and never come back on the line. And they keep moving the delivery date out a day every day. It's already a week and still no water and now the machine says the customer service cannot take your call. read more

Ready Refresh delivery was fine while we had it although once we moved to Cardiff, they didn't leave it where we asked them to in our profile. My main complaint with them is that we just canceled service after investing in a whole-home filtration system and they aren't picking up the cooler and empties. Today is day 3 that they've asked us to leave it outside and the driver hasn't picked it up yet. Getting tired of setting everything out and then them not picking it up. Every time I call in and wait 15-30 minutes on hold, they tell me on the route and that the driver should be there. Well why have we been on their route for 3 days and they can't come get their crap???? Will never use this company again because of this frustration. read more

Delivery was changed by ReadyRefresh from 1/27 to 1/28, then to 1/29. On 1/29 received text that stated delivery was made and yet no delivery was made. Then RR charged my card $67.43 even though they never made the delivery. Called in 8 times only to be told that no one was available to take my call and when I finally got someone on the phone then they took down my complaint and rescheduled the delivery that never occurred on 1/29. So now they have overcharged me by $67.43. To say that getting them on the phone is difficult...IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT. I live on Camp Pendleton and they frequently miss deliveries, cancel deliveries and generally fail to deliver without warning or notification, not a single courtesy call, text or email. Emailing then gets you a "we will respond within 3-5 business days" response! They randomly add extra bottles to your order and their prices have gone up so much. How much time do you have? You can't give 0 Stars, so here we go. There isn't enough room on this short format to describe this hot mess called Ready Unrefresh! For starters, their phone lines are the absolute most dreadful lines in America. You get several options, but sometimes they just don't even take the calls! They just say call later. As a water delivery service you would think that answering the phone between, let's say 8-5, is a high priority. But apparently not for this company. Then when you do get on the phone with them, after waiting several minutes, if you are cut off, no one calls back. I think that if a company makes someone wait on hold forever, then they actually get to talk to someone, that person has already collected all of the data, including my phone number...Why don't they call me back? We were in the middle of a transaction. That's just lousy business. End of story. Well not really end of story, because the customers left to try the phone system again, repeatedly, disconnected, never answered, blah blah blah! As my dad used to say any excuse beats none. So I guess they've got a ton of them. For not responding to customers. I asked for my dispenser and empty containers, be picked up, as I was moving out. They set up a date some 17 days after my move out date. Then when the time came to pick up the equipment instead of letting me know, they text me that my order was delivered!! Prompting me to call them and guess what...surprise surprise... I got through, but I was disconnected! Since that time I was able to find out that someone did in fact show up to pick up the equipment. But the endurance that was required to go through this epic phone call system/customer service was beyond what anyone should have to go through to get some equipment picked up when the account is closed!! The fact is, Ready Unrefresh was in the building, but refused to pick up the equipment, hence forcing another driver to come out and pick up the equipment costing more money and time. That's my tip for them, don't overthink it. Just let your driver pick up the empties and the dispenser! Even the manager of the building, asked him to please take the dispenser and bottles, but his answer was no I can't it's not on my paper. You've got to be kidding me. So you send another driver out to Oceanside California to get the empties. That's not smart business. But I'm not surprised I would never recommend Ready Unrefresh to anyone, ever! read more

I hate this company so much I am beyond pissed. The only way you can cancel is if you call them and every time I call which has been seven times now I get put on hold for 25+ minutes and then hung up on. I'm beyond frustrated. My login and password has never worked for their website even when it was Palomar and I spent numerous times on hold with IT with them and they could never figure it out. So I can't go online to access my account and I can't cancel the only thing I can do is put a stop or cancel my bank account I just hate them SO much! Also, their water tastes like shit and they leave it at the end of your apartment complex not at your door so good luck hauling all the super heavy bottles in!! read more

Called in advance to discontinue service for a out of state move. Gave them three days (W-Th-Fr) of options to choose from and they chose Friday. Left everything out for them to pick up. Waited as long as I could. Called at 4:15 to see if it had been completed since I left already. They said no, and that if I didn't go all the way back and take the cooler to a drop off point for pickup Monday I would be charged $95. Absolute SCAM service. We cancelled this service seven months ago and they keep delivering water and TRYING TO CHARGE OUR CREDIT CARD (fortunately we put a stop-pay on the card but the deliveries keep coming). I'm so sad they bought out Palomar Mountain Water, that was a truly wonderful company. The truly impersonal and awful experience at ReadyRefresh continues to only get worse. For example to get help to replace a badly leaking water dispenser their online portal offered me prompt customer service via email, prompt meaning "3-5 business days to response" with no phone number to call. When I finally found a phone number through a Google search, the greeting message told me I'd be charged $4.99 just to talk to a customer service representative. Ready Refresh inherited our account from another company and from first delivery we can tell the difference, we notice of quality in water got changed, large sediments on the bottom in form of white powder looks like plastic, after canceling service and returning several 5 gallon bottles back we're still receiving charges on our account and never got credit for the bottles it was returned. I recently was passed off from Palomar Water to ReadyRefresh. The driver said that we would receive our first delivery for free. We were charged and ReadyRefresh said that it was a residual charge from Palomar Water. FALSE!!! We had a card on file and each charge was made after delivery. ReadyRefresh looked into it and issued a refund, but then charged it again saying that there was a mistake. Another Customer Service Rep said that they charge for every delivery no matter what. I don't have time for this B.S. I cancelled service and asked for a credit on unused 4 gallon bottles and they said they do not do that. FRUSTRATING ! Do yourself a favor and stay away. read more

ReadyRefresh would deliver water outside my delivery schedule, then charge me. They locked me out of my account saying they are having a "computer glitch but it's fixed now" and it was never fixed, so I could not see my schedule or the charges. I did an on line request to help me enter my account so I could see activity, but they closed the request and it was never resolved. I did not sign up for Nestle but my water company was bought by them. I told Nestle I did not want them and did not want their water and wanted them to delete my information. They sent me an email saying they will never delete my information. They also CHARGED ME $40 FOR NOTHING- they SAID they refunded it but it has been a week and still no refund. LIARS, CHEATS, THIEVES, crooks, immoral jerks. Do not give your money to this horrible company ever. Their customer service team is super rude and very snobby. Complete disregard to charging me for nothing- I have never received water from them, never signed a contract with them, never gave permission for my former water company to sell or give my information to ANYONE.
