I called in to ReadyRefresh to cancel my service. They transferred me to another agent and I had to wait for almost 1 hour. I've had that happen many times, and I think their tactic is to just see how long we want to wait before we hang up and just forget about what we call about. Once I finally could get to the bottom of things and just explain, I wanted to cancel, they said well, we'll have to bill you $50. That was pretty aggravating considering I was finding unexpected charges in my bank account from ReadyRefresh. Just to get 2 5 gallon water containers delivered each month it was over $40. Too much money. Plus you have to pay for the dispenser cleaner, which is only $12, but before they would charge about $50 or more to come and clean your dispenser. I just feel it's a lot easier to order 1 gallon water containers from Walmart each month and just recycle the plastic... That ends up being about three dollars a week. I don't recommend ReadyRefresh as a home water service. If I do subscribe to another service, it won't be ReadyRefresh. read more

After spending my time sorting out these issues, they promised adjustments, only for me to get charged extra on my next delivery. Their billing process is a mess--they charge me first and then send invoices days later, leaving me constantly calling them to resolve these mistakes. Since April I have received one delivery that was wont half the order wasn't delivered promised to bring and have still not received!!!! Called and they lied and said there was a road closure !!!! I started with Pure Flo water over 25 years ago. They then were bought by Sparkletts. No problems at all. Then the merger to Primo Water Brands. I called and was on hold for over 30 minutes 5 times. I was told over the course of these calls that we would get a water delivery which never came any of the over 5 times. Not a single delivery. Beyond frustration, I asked for a supervisor which the support person told me didn't exist. We've been buying water April because these folks don't seem to have any idea what customer service means. Tried to setup new service on November 24, 2024. Ordered a dispenser and 4 x 5 gallon bottles to be delivered to my apartment, water recurring every 2 weeks. The date they gave me was today, November 27, 2024, between 7AM and 6PM. I made sure I was in apartment all day to receive items. About 3:30PM I checked the website, which was talking about my NEXT delivery December 4th. No past delivery (the one I was waiting for) shown. Tried to call number listed (and several others, all go to same tree) and they close at 6PM EST. I am on west coast. Set new delivery (minus dispenser) for as soon as possible, December 3, but need to talk to human to find out what went wrong. This guy parks in our private parking lot and delivers nothing to any of the business. He just blocks spaces and sits in his truck playing on his phone. What a waste of fuel and time as well as limiting customers from parking close to the business they are trying to visit. Delivery supposedly out for delivery, but skipped yet charged on the account and 3 days this week with over an hour on hold while I was transferred to 3 different lines to try to make sense of this. My account will be closed for good and the charge for water that was never delivered will be disputed with my bank as a fraud charge. Just spent 35 minutes on the phone with them trying to cancel my service. They just raised the cost of our 5 gallon bottles to over $10 per bottle on top of our $12 delivery fee each time. After transferring me all over the world, I was finally transferred back to the US. The representative informed me there would be a $50 refurbishment charge for the return of the water cooler...I am spending over $140 per month on 50 gallons of water (includes delivery and water cooler rental). That's $2.80 / per gallon....I think I could buy gas for that a few years ago. read more

I did appreciate the convenience of having water delivered, but the extra fees and the fact that you're renting the dispenser (despite the salesperson telling me I'd be owning it) make the service far less appealing. In hindsight, buying a dispenser from Costco and filling up my own jugs at a local water store for a fraction of the cost would have been much more economical. After canceling the service due to a move, I was still hit with a $50 "reconditioning fee" to refurbish the dispenser. My advice: skip the hassle, buy your own dispenser, and get your water locally. My empties were set to get picked up and they never did, each time I would email customer service they told me my bottles were picked up and they weren't. I finally got a helpful person on the phone who scheduled a pick up next available which was 3 weeks later and confirmed my account was cancelled. When my bottles finally got picked up, I was delivered a case of plastic water bottles that I did not order and was charged. The one thing going for this company is the customer service on the phone is nice but the logistics, app, and everything else needs serious help. My family has also experienced incorrect charges, deliveries that never happened, and just difficulty in getting the product you want. We have been long term customers with ReadyRefresh. In the beginning we had a friendly driver who would actually put a new bottle on the dispenser and would check in to see if we needed anything else. All that stopped several years ago. There is no longer any customer service, communication and things keep getting worse. We stopped our service and and I have been promised 5 times that a driver would pick up or dispenser and empty bottles. This has been going on for 5 weeks!!! Everytime you call in the rep will say the pick up will happen in 5 business days between 7am and 6pm. Guess what it NEVER happens and their is never any communication about. As many other customers on here, I would give them a zero star review if I could. I have been a customer of Arrowhead for over 25 years and ever since Primo took over every single one of my deliveries has been rescheduled multiple times. My last delivery rescheduled seven times even after I called (after the 6th time) and said if it was rescheduled again, I was going to have to cancel. I was promised it would not be and that they had contacted the local delivery agents to ensure it would not be delayed again. Well today was the 7th time it was rescheduled. I called and the person on the phone was so incredibly rude and couldn't care less that I was canceling my subscription after over 25 years as a loyal customer. I'm so very disappointed that I will now have to find a new water delivery service. If anyone has any recommendations of water that tastes at all similar to Arrowhead, I would greatly appreciate it. Shame on you Primo Brands for your horrible service and treatment of your loyal customers. I can't imagine you'll be around much longer doing business like this. Awful customer service! I told them I want to cancel my membership, but they keep putting charges through on my account. I've wasted countless hours trying to sort everything out. I have been double billed and also had charges put through that should not have been. If I could give zero stars I would. (My delivery driver however was excellent. This review is not for him. He should receive 5 stars.) The other thing I've read, is that arrowhead is adding fluoride to their water. They tell me they are not, but they won't send an email confirming this. It looks like I have the same issue as many others. They have zero customer support, they do not respond to calls, letters or emails. What's worse, we never requested service, one day the driver drops off two bottles of water and starts to leave, I stop him before he gets to the door to inform him that we never ordered any water and that he should take it back. His response- "once its off the truck, I am not allowed to take it back" but that he would take care of it. I started calling, emailing, writing. Nothing but bills and now late payment fees. I still have the unopened bottles on my floor. I cannot recall ever having this bad of an experience with a business before. This company has absolutely terrible tasting water and even worse practices. Something in TINY text in their TOS - if you use a water dispenser for more than 30-days they charge you $50 "cleaning fee". So I rented for just under 60 days, and the fee + charges cost me more than buying a brand new one. They also make you call to get any sort of help, and then put you on hold with terrible music for 30-minutes. Terrible business, I HIGHLY recommend you stay away. read more

Extremely disappointed with this company that took over for Palomar Water. The water and delivery have been fine but the fees and hidden fees are ridiculous. They are charging almost as much for a gallon of water as a gallon of gas when you consider all the fees. Delivery charge, dispenser rental and they even charge you to send you a bill. Where do I start with this HORRIBLE company? Just like somebody else said, I would give them a zero if i could. I had Primo Water and I loved it. Everything ran smooth. Then they merged with this garbage company and became Primo Brands and there is nothing primo about it. Nothing has been right, I mean nothing, since they merged. What the hell would I need 2 coolers for. After writing the above review, my next order didn't show up and was rescheduled for two weeks later without notice. I rescheduled it myself to yesterday, and reduced the order to 3 bottles - the minimum ReadyRefresh will deliver. When they showed up, one bottle had a plastic ring floating inside and a note taped to it, likely from the customer who had refused it, stating that it was contaminated. Readyfresh always delivers and picks up my empty water bottles at my front door. Well, today the delivery person left my water at the back door, so did not see the 7 empty water bottles that were out front, so he did not pick them up. I called Ready Fresh and the "help desk" person said there is a 19-dollar charge to pick up empty bottles if there is no delivery. What??? Seriously??? So besides leaving my water bottles in the wrong place, and not picking up my empties, I have to pay 19.00 for THEIR mistake to get my empties picked up? Yes, that is correct they are charging me 19.00 to pick up the bottles that were outside today and should have been picked up. And they cannot come for a week, so now I have the new water bottles plus all my empties to put somewhere in my house for a week. arghhh!!! I cannot cancel this service fast enough! Not a great experience. They kept leaving the empty bottles when I'd set them out. We were trying to move out and had like 15 empty bottles. I called and confirmed a schedule pickup on two occasions and no one showed up. I tried cancelling my account multiple times via email with no success. I don't have time to sit on hold for hours via phone and then get disconnected. You have a website, customers should be able to cancel their service online if you cannot provide adequate customer support. Oh and if you don't cancel your account successfully they will continue to charge $20 late fees every month indefinitely. I will say the water tasted good but we will be finding somewhere with better customer service for our new house. read more
