    Real Fruit

Real Fruit Bubble Tea at Menlo Park Mall is a delight! The friendly staff fresh fruit experts shared the secret of their amazing Peruvian mangoes--perfect for smoothies. Ordering is a breeze with tablets or a friendly face at the counter. Cozy seating great for sipping solo or with a friend. Tried the milk special black tea with boba - pure freshness in every sip!

My drink was supposed to be a strawberry banana smoothie with mango chunks and lychee jelly. This was a mango diamond slush instead.

I normally love the drinks I get from here but today it wasn't the same it normally is. Today when my receipt was supposed to print out nothing came out and I asked for a receipt. The female worker asked if I knew what number I was and she confirmed the number for me and then did not give me a receipt. Then the next thing wrong was my drink wasn't what I asked for. But 1 they were busy and 2 I was just getting thirsty, so I was like oh well whatever this time I'll just drink what I got instead of what I asked for. But really I wish the workers would pay attention to the order and also check their machines if the receipts are not printing.

Real Fruit Bubble Tea has refreshing and delicious ingredients served in your drinks. You can't go wrong with the Diamond Mango Slush. Mangos are fresh and sweet, I don't need to add extra bubbles or add ons because I love the natural flavors. Service at Menlo Park Mall is friendly. Located in the food court with other food options. Good variety on the menu, always made fresh and ready to go.

First time here. I ordered medium Taro Milk with boba. Delicious milk tea. They serve real fruits, too. Clean and well lighted bubble tea shop in the food court of Menlo Park Mall, Edison NJ. Serving staff are friendly and helpful.

The music is lit! The line was sooo long but they were able to prepare my 2 drinks so quickly. I even sat down because I thought I'd be waiting awhile. As soon as I sat, my number was called up for my drinks - literally. Highly recommended the Mango slush with tapioca balls.

Living up to its name! The mango slush was super fresh. I watched the employee cut up the mango chunks that were at the bottom of the drink. We also got the original black milk tea with half sugar. It was dialed in and delicious. They have a very generous amount of boba, but they were small and hard. They were super busy but that didn't effect their efficiency the slightest. The drinks came out quickly and without any mistakes. Overall, good spot for boba in Menlo Mall.

This guy is so cute at the Boba place

I heard that there was a new bubble tea shop that opened up in the mall and was very excited to give it a try just to lead to a big disappointment. I am giving this review below because the drinks were horrible. Green Apple Crush: This tastes nothing like green apple and just tastes like crushed ice with no flavor at all. Did they even add any flavors to this drink or did they just blend ice with food dye? Mango Diamond Slush: My brother told the cashier that I did not want the boba but they gave it to me anyways. The boba tasted disgusting and was soft and hard at the same time. The drink had NO mango taste at all and was watered down or they put too much ice. This was a waste of money. Overall: They need a lot of work on making the boba so it can taste delicious. They also need a lot of working on making a slush and the crush. My brother and I are afraid to come back to give it a try again since this time it was a waste of money.

I first saw this chain at the Garden State Plaza mall with the line out the door and around the corner. I could only wonder is this place really worth the wait?? Luckily this location was able to work through a bunch of orders fast despite there being a long line. There was about 10 people in front of me but the entire wait from the line to receiving my order took 5-7 minutes. The area is very clean and sleek looking with the wooden decor and neutral tones. The vast display of fruits is also there to remind you that real fruits are used lol and are the focus due to being one of the few colorful things amongst the decor. As stated in the name of the shop, Real Fruit Bubble Tea focuses on using real fruit in many of their drinks. I tried the Mango Diamond Slush, which is a House Special. When the cashier asked what toppings I wanted, I said the regular ones that come with it, but I did not get tapioca in mine, just the mango slices. I'm not sure if I was supposed to indicate that I wanted tapioca as I assumed that it would automatically come with it like shown in the picture. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the drink immensely as the mango was perfectly ripe and the fruit bits added to the fresh taste! I wish I could've known what it tasted like with the tapioca pearls, but I'll be glad to come back to try the other flavors and toppings! I'm also interested to see how this compares to the other bubble tea shops in this area. The use of real fruits gives Real Fruit Bubble Tea an edge over other places. I appreciate the craft that goes into slicing the mango for the Mango Diamond Slush, so I wouldn't be surprised if the rest of the menu followed suit.

I really like that they had 3 boba options: Brown sugar, Strawberry, and Honey. On their website there seems to be even more but they weren't advertised so maybe they weren't available at the time. The other boba listed on their website are Taro, Black Sesame, Mango, Chrysanthemum, and OneZo Triple. What we ordered: - Passion Fruit Green Tea with Strawberry Boba - Taro Sesame Milk Tea I am a big fan of the strawberry boba and both drinks were pretty good. I would definitely return to try out other things. I noticed that they also have ice cream as well There is a parking lot but it shares it with the other businesses and the apartment complex so it was limited. We snuck in a spot for "future residents". Not sure how much it is monitored but we were fine even though our drinks took a particularly long time. I think there might have been some issues with the order before us. They did apologize for the delay.

To my surprise this shop is actually in an apartment complex. That's probably why it's a little out of the way and parking can be a concern as it's a private area. The spots near the shop all have signs on them so I am not sure if I was allowed to park there. By the register, I asked if it was okay to park there and they seemed unsure as well but said it should be fine to park and leave within the hour. It may designed in a way where you live in the complex and can just stop in without leaving the property which I have seen for a couple of these newer apartment buildings. The shop itself is fine, clean, small amount of seating. I think this may be the type of shop where I just pick up or get delivery from instead of bringing a big group to hang out for some bubble tea. I had ordered a Sesame milk tea. It was essentially a milk tea but sesame seeds were blended through it. It was gritty kinda like how red bean bobas are but not like sweet bean paste. It had that sesame seeds taste that you get from burger buns with sesame seeds on them. I wasn't sure what I was expecting but I can't say that's what it was. Maybe others like that as it's probably healthier than tapioca balls but I just was not into it. This shop online, prided itself on making their tapioca balls in house. I didn't get them cause I just wanted to try the shop and the balls were all $2+ add ons for whatever drinks I looked at. I didn't dislike coming here but I think if I come back I would order something else, probably something more flavorful

Both items were good, and I enjoyed the waffle, which had ice cream as the filling and was stuffed with fillings, but it was a little difficult to eat since the wrapper is not very practical, and I had to use my hands, so it got a bit messy. Did I regret it? No way, I loved it; hopefully, they would just have a better container for it, lol. Definitely will get a sugar rush, so be careful hahaha. Then also you see a few customers who were already waiting for their placed drink orders! Also, the customers were not even patrons of the supermarket, so that also goes to show that people are just coming in straight for their bubble tea fix! Situated inside LOTTE (another reviewer wrote HMART..so: correction there), by the inner food court area, this is a cute little spot. That is the reason for this review actually. The food court is also convenient as there are other food options but having a bubble tea place as an addition is a huge plus! This Gong Cha store looks very tidy, and well-managed. The workers were friendly and can provide recommendations. While waiting for the orders, you can notice the employees are busy making all their necessary preparations and everyone seemed exceptional. The drinks were made fresh and also did not realize that they also have freshly brewed coffee - what an amazing selection. In addition to several drinks, also ordered a viet coffee. Normally, bubble tea stores do not have fresh coffee (usually it's instant because that is not their main product.) So for them to have that as a choice, and to be made fresh - that is a true win-win situation! So the menu choices were a bit long, and requires really focusing into each category to get a sense of what's available. The icon that shows a mini coffee bean next to each drink represents caffeinated vs non-caffeinated. Also, if you are unsure, it is best to ask the employees for further suggestions and ingredients, in case of anything you may not prefer. (Had no idea about the winter melon choice, wow!) The wide array of selections is really super amazing; with so many variations that can be added! The takeaway with this review is the opportunity to be at a supermarket and while you're doing your shopping, there is this awesome bubble tea store that anyone can just stop by for a quick drink! Parking is really convenient, and the nearby restrooms were also very clean. Kudos and congrats to management for making this work on all levels. Food court go-ers can enjoy, supermarket customers will drop by, and the list can go on. Support your local businesses!
