Came here for dinner with the family. Staff was friendly. Restaurant was a nice size. The food was good. The hot honey pepperoni pizza was good.. next time im gonna ask for extra pepperoni. We ordered a bunch of pasta and everything was cooked well. The steak was cooked perfectly as well. Definitely recommended making a reservation if you are in a large group

Interesting this place is rated less than four on average. The food and service are very good. Good ratio of staff to guests. I think this is a 4+ for the island. The space is a little different being a big open tiled floor room and feels to lack that warm intimacy food elsewhere but overall quite good.

Went back and the food is still amazing. They added another room so it's less cafeteria like... and more of a dining experience. The decor is Mediterranean and the service was great.

So when walking in this restaurant it is beautiful. It's a very large, beautifully decorated restaurant. It has a nice vibe/ambience to it. Unfortunately the temperature of this restaurant is at sub zero temp! Like bring a sweater and a coat, a box of tissues and a blanket . They have the ac going on full blast and where ever u sit you freeze! It's a shame. It super uncomfortable. I held off on this review because I knew I was coming back here. The first visit was for lunch second dinner. Both times were not packed. We ordered simply, a panini with chicken and bacon and a side salad it was delicious. We had Caesar salad that also was delicious lightly dressed with fresh butter lettuce and big croutons. Salmon with rice fresh zucchini and asparagus. This came out perfect. For dessert a chocolate mousse and lava cake. Super fresh and delicious. Not to sweet perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed the first time so we came for dinner. They were advertising a burger with portobello mushrooms and I like the salmon so we came for that. We also got the Caesar salad again. Again restaurant was like Alaska! Insane how do you eat when shivering . Food gets cold quick.. horrendous! Okay, so the waiter asked how we wanted the burger and salmon done. Medium. Okay.. so salad comes it was drenched in dressing! It was barely edible. I hyped this place up and now the salad isn't even good. The mains come out and we look at our food and no joke it looks like they gave us someone else's French fries. Half the fries were covered in ketchup on the bottom and top were regular fries and they were cold. So we call the waiter over and question. He's like idk? I alerted my boss and manager they know. No one came over to apologize and take it off the bill. They brought over a fresh batch but who wants to now eat that.. salmon and burger are med rare not medium. Salmon was warm not hot and it wasn't as good as the first time. I was Super disappointed that they Recycle food it seems. How much can you save with a half of basket of fries? 25cents? Are your guys in the back of the house just lazy. They offered us coffee but I lost my appetite and wanted the check at this point. I really wanted to like this place and come back but how can I

I ordered the special lobster pizza at a whopping $39+. It was very tasty, but it came in a small box with only 4 slices. The pieces did have a nice amount of seafood on it, but not nearly or delicious enough to equal almost $10 a slice. As a patron at all of their restaurants, and having family parties at two of their original locations, I am extremely disappointed. I also ordered a large pasta fagoli, and they only spared to give me half of a small little teaspoon of grated cheese. Needless to say, I will not be back!

Newly opened establishment. This is the Taverna which is totally different from the chain of the Italian Patrizias. I'll begin with the food. We shared a Mediterranean salad which is pretty much a Greek salad. Nothing exciting. Pretty bland I had lemon shrimp with fregola spinach. Delicious with lots of garlic. Desert menu shows lemon tartufo. It was delicious but it wasn't a tartufo. There was no chocolate outer shell. It was just lemon ice cream and whipped cream As soon as you walk in you are aware of the noise level. The restaurant wasn't crowded at all. There's def an issue with the acoustics in here and how the place was constructed. When the kitchen emptied an ice bucket it was ear shattering. Just a fork dropping is ridiculously loud. I was with one other person and it was difficult to have a conversation. Maybe when it's more crowded the noise is absorbed more but for this reason alone I won't come back. There was too much staff milling around and we were being fallen over by them. My plate was taken away the second my last fork full was done. It's nice to have good service but it was over the top. The waiters don't seem to be knowledgeable about the food items either. I asked what the fregola was with my spinach. They told me it was chick peas but I knew it didn't taste like it. I had to look it up to find out it's a Sardinian pasta. Overall the experience was underwhelming.

Patrizia's Taverna was absolutely delicious! My friends and I tried the chicken parmigiana, skirt steak, and salmon, and all of the dishes were incredible. The portions are very generous and definitely filling. The service was outstanding--our server was friendly, attentive, and impressed us by remembering each of our orders, even with 8 people at the table! The ambiance was lovely too. We visited on a Monday, so it was quiet, but the cozy atmosphere really stood out. The restaurant had great music, and the TV with a cozy fireplace added to the warmth of the place. I'll definitely be coming back for another amazing meal!

This is a brand new addition to the patrizias restaurant group. It is HUGE! There was a private party on one side and still plenty of tables for lunch. We went for lunch --appetizers were delicious--smoked eggplant dip, zucchini chips and spicy calamari were excellent. The calamari was so light and just the right crunch. The VEGAN options were plentiful. My friend had the beyond burger and said it was excellent. Fries were great too--the fryer was on point that day. We got complimentary pizza and Zeppoles!! Prices were decent for Staten Island. Pasta dishes were definitely reasonable. Paninis were large portions so the prices matched. Everyone had leftovers to take home. I had the caprese but I needed some protein added so I made them add grilled chicken. It was very good. Drinks were good!! I was teetering on 4 or 5 stars bc of the loud acoustics --they said they are working on a solution. Also bc of being in the shopping center. Once your inside you forget that your in a shopping center until you look out the window and see a nut job walking by. Overall very pleased. Will become a go to for my family in the neighborhood.

I highly recommend this restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was great. I will be back very soon.

With that said, the service was interesting to say the least, the hospitality wasn't felt, and the server reeked of cigarettes, which later was felt among the restaurant. With that said, the food wasn't terrible. The muscles were by far the star of the night, I loved loved how they did the red sauce, and they were very soft. Ontop is garlic bread, a perfect paring to dip the sauce. The dish as a whole, delicious. The salmon dish was decent, well cooked salmon, the fruity sauce nor veggies didn't wow me. I would appreciate a variety in options for sides. The calamari was also decent, not very crunchy but solid. The bread as a starter was interesting, it wasn't fresh, and I wasn't informed on what exactly it was. The sauce included, with that said it was also decent. Overall, I probably wouldn't return here, the food was okay, and the service is what really turns me away from dining in, as well as its cleanliness.

When my husband said he booked us a place to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary all by himself…read moreby simply asking Google what the best Italian restaurant in all of Staten Island, I was pretty impressed, shocked and slightly suspicious all at the same time. The pictures looked delicious enough to lick my phone, and the menu had all the great staples you'd want in a celebratory dinner. I was pleased and excited for our dinner. We made early reservations (5PM) this past Saturday, and got to have a comfy, sun-drenched seat by the window over looking their outdoor seating patio that probably gets mobbed come the summer months. We started with a prosecco for me and hubby got a rum and coke. When Dan our waiter brought out caponatina with onion and lightly sauced foccacia bread, I knew we were in for a real treat. We fought over the bread and I was awed by how great the eggplant dish tasted. So far, so damn good. Their specials of the night were one more tempting than the next, but I ended up with the funghi pappardelle pasta while my husband can't give up his penne alla vodka with grilled chicken on top. I too was tempted to switch last minute to the veal marasala, but my fat cells were called to the carbs. We wanted the baked clams to start (8 shells) and it was the best decision we made to start off the night. These were the BEST baked clams I've had in a REALLY long time. Hubby was sopping up the lemon and breadcrumb sauce like he was heading for the electric chair. I knew better that I had to pace myself. If my husband's vodka dish was a 10/10, mine was a 12/10; no far exaggeration. Pasta cooked to al dente and the notion the pasta wasn't drowning in the sauce was a tall-tale sign, they were confident in their freshly made pasta and their sauce. On my first bite, I already had texted 3 people that I was dragging them here to try this place. The vibe was classic, but not stuffy, and very clean and inviting. Upscale Manhattan-feeling without burning a hole in your wallet. Dan was so wonderful and checked on us throughout our meal and even gave us Italian cheesecake to share on the house to end our meal with a literal cherry on top. We both felt super special and catered to. The finest in Italian comfort food. We'll be back several times before the year's over.
