I came here over the weekend for a wedding reception and was impressed from the moment we walked in. We received a warm welcome, and the decor was lovely, especially the floral arrangements throughout the space. We spent a little time at the bar before heading to the private room for the event, and everything was seamless. The bartenders and servers were all on their game, friendly, attentive and efficient throughout the reception. The family-style food was delicious, with plenty to enjoy and even some gluten-free options, which I always appreciate. Came here for my uncles wedding reception. It was a small event, but they did a great job. The cocktails were amazing. The sangria was a little too sweet, but there was wine and the bartenders kicked butt with the cocktail orders. Food was done family style and everything was in my book: steak, arancini, chicken Franchese, charcuterie, dessert, etc all delicious! Every staff member was friendly and helpful! It's sooo good here. Never been here or at the other locations. Seated right away for our reservations. I ordered an espresso martini and the server right away asked if I wanted Baileys (I usually have to ask to add that on), extra points for that. My party of 6 all enjoyed our entrees. we had a 645 reservation here last night just me and my husband. There was a party going on and the host said it would be a few minutes, ok no problem, family of 5 walks in host asks if they had a reservation and they did not, they were seated immediately. Husband and I are standing there for at least 30 minutes, a party of 3 walks in and was about to be seated until host said we were next, then tells us the people just paid the check and the table is yours. ok no problem. 10 minutes later the people were still sitting there, so we walked out. So when walking in this restaurant it is beautiful. It's a very large, beautifully decorated restaurant. It has a nice vibe/ambience to it. Unfortunately the temperature of this restaurant is at sub zero temp! Like bring a sweater and a coat, a box of tissues and a blanket . We had Caesar salad that also was delicious lightly dressed with fresh butter lettuce and big croutons. Salmon with rice fresh zucchini and asparagus. This came out perfect. For dessert a chocolate mousse and lava cake. Super fresh and delicious. Not to sweet perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed the first time so we came for dinner. They were advertising a burger with portobello mushrooms and I like the salmon so we came for that. We also got the Caesar salad again. Again restaurant was like Alaska! Insane how do you eat when shivering . Food gets cold quick.. horrendous! Okay, so the waiter asked how we wanted the burger and salmon done. Medium. Okay.. so salad comes it was drenched in dressing! It was barely edible. I hyped this place up and now the salad isn't even good. The mains come out and we look at our food and no joke it looks like they gave us someone else's French fries. Half the fries were covered in ketchup on the bottom and top were regular fries and they were cold. So we call the waiter over and question. He's like idk? I alerted my boss and manager they know. No one came over to apologize and take it off the bill. They brought over a fresh batch but who wants to now eat that.. salmon and burger are med rare not medium. Salmon was warm not hot and it wasn't as good as the first time. I was Super disappointed that they Recycle food it seems. How much can you save with a half of basket of fries? 25cents? I ordered the special lobster pizza at a whopping $39+. It was very tasty, but it came in a small box with only 4 slices. The pieces did have a nice amount of seafood on it, but not nearly or delicious enough to equal almost $10 a slice. As a patron at all of their restaurants, and having family parties at two of their original locations, I am extremely disappointed. I also ordered a large pasta fagoli, and they only spared to give me half of a small little teaspoon of grated cheese. Needless to say, I will not be back! read more

Newly opened establishment. This is the Taverna which is totally different from the chain of the Italian Patrizias. I'll begin with the food. We shared a Mediterranean salad which is pretty much a Greek salad. Nothing exciting. Pretty bland I had lemon shrimp with fregola spinach. Delicious with lots of garlic. Desert menu shows lemon tartufo. It was delicious but it wasn't a tartufo. There was no chocolate outer shell. It was just lemon ice cream and whipped cream As soon as you walk in you are aware of the noise level. The restaurant wasn't crowded at all. There's def an issue with the acoustics in here and how the place was constructed. When the kitchen emptied an ice bucket it was ear shattering. Just a fork dropping is ridiculously loud. I was with one other person and it was difficult to have a conversation. Maybe when it's more crowded the noise is absorbed more but for this reason alone I won't come back. There was too much staff milling around and we were being fallen over by them. My plate was taken away the second my last fork full was done. It's nice to have good service but it was over the top. The waiters don't seem to be knowledgeable about the food items either. I asked what the fregola was with my spinach. They told me it was chick peas but I knew it didn't taste like it. I had to look it up to find out it's a Sardinian pasta. Overall the experience was underwhelming. read more

Patrizia's Taverna was absolutely delicious! My friends and I tried the chicken parmigiana, skirt steak, and salmon, and all of the dishes were incredible. The portions are very generous and definitely filling. The service was outstanding--our server was friendly, attentive, and impressed us by remembering each of our orders, even with 8 people at the table! The ambiance was lovely too. We visited on a Monday, so it was quiet, but the cozy atmosphere really stood out. The restaurant had great music, and the TV with a cozy fireplace added to the warmth of the place. The place is sited in "The Boulevard". A dual level outdoor shopping area that includes many stores, bars and restaurants. A spacious eatery that included a large bar. The modern decor is beautiful. A nice menu with a specialty pizza menu. We sat at the bar and were greeted by Anthony. He was a friendly helpful bartender who enjoyed his job (and it showed). This is a brand new addition to the patrizias restaurant group. It is HUGE! There was a private party on one side and still plenty of tables for lunch. We went for lunch --appetizers were delicious--smoked eggplant dip, zucchini chips and spicy calamari were excellent. The calamari was so light and just the right crunch. The VEGAN options were plentiful. My friend had the beyond burger and said it was excellent. Fries were great too--the fryer was on point that day. We got complimentary pizza and Zeppoles!! Prices were decent for Staten Island. Pasta dishes were definitely reasonable. Paninis were large portions so the prices matched. Everyone had leftovers to take home. I had the caprese but I needed some protein added so I made them add grilled chicken. It was very good. Drinks were good!! I was teetering on 4 or 5 stars bc of the loud acoustics --they said they are working on a solution. Also bc of being in the shopping center. Once your inside you forget that your in a shopping center until you look out the window and see a nut job walking by. Overall very pleased. Hate to say it but I do not like this place. The food was not impressive and I love the original patrizia's location. The decor felt confusing and bland. I will say the service was pretty good, in some ways maybe this review is unfair, I'm comparing them to the standard they have set with the original patrizia's, sadly though they don't measure up even close to their normal standard. read more

I went to the pizza side of the restaurant and prefer the panini special which is 2 sandwiches and 2 salads for 19.99 and to go when I got home I opened up the bag and their were two hero's I was not going to go all the way back so I gave my sandwich to my family I would have ordered a hero if that's what I wanted I then called the store and nicely explained my dilemma and the woman said to me in Italy we call a hero a panini I said I'm sorry I'm Italian too and this is not it is not grilled or such and it is a hero sandwich on Italian bread and not pressed so she said sorry you should have asked me how it's prepared I said no you should tell a customer that ordered that that it's not grilled and is a regular hero she said that's all anything else you can offer me for my inconvience and false advertising on a specific food she said I can only give you 5 % discount on your next order I said ok thanks and hung up read more

We recently visited this restaurant and unfortunately left quite disappointed. When we arrived, the waitress didn't provide menus or explain any dining options -- instead, we were simply offered a "family style" meal. We assumed it would be a full and varied selection, but the food was very limited and definitely not enough for our group of five. We were quite surprised when the bill came around $90 per person but they changed servings instead of lamb chops they served chicken, all appetizers were served on one plate, charcuterie board with 4 slices of prosciutto for 5 people ( but price was the same) which felt unreasonable for what we received. read more

I never give reviews. Check my history. This place was so bad I feel the need to spare people from it. The seafood tasted like it was fished out of petland discounts last year. The pasta was so mushy it could've doubled as a beverage. Both (yes, both) orders of chicken wings were criminally under and then overcooked. It took 20 minutes to get a beer. It was 4 pm on a weekday, place was dead. It's the only thing I ate that day, and I was pretty sick the day after. I didn't get a chance to tell them how bad it was. Why? Nobody asked. Or cared. Or even came by our table most of the time. For the money, go anywhere else. Or play lotto, or burn the dollars to keep warm. Anything is better than this. read more

I was excited to try this new restaurant from the famous Patrizia establishments that are known for their loud,fun ,family celebrating atmosphere , but in what I thought was going to be a more intimate quiet setting with a Mediterranean flair on their food....well, I was very surprised to walk into a large room with very high ceilings and even tho there were only a few tables sat, it's loud. Not what I was looking for a girls night out to chat and catch up. BUT the drinks are outrageous. Specialty drink menu had me wanting to try them all and everything my table had was delicious. Now for the food. It's a Mediterranean flare Italian fusion. So for example, the falafel appetizer comes served over a Pesto cream sauce which was very nice. We also got a Mediterranean salad and a pizza to share on the table. These were both good but basic, nothing different. Good staple food, living up to the Patrizia reputation but don't expect your portions to be as big, not small by any means. I just think people are going to think it's the same style. We got baklava for dessert and when I say this restaurant is trying for some fusion this was basically a Baklava inspired Napoleon. No honey, it had a raspberry drizzle, and in between the phyllo dough and pistachios that are sprinkled on is cream. Not bad and I appreciate it being different and the concept - I just think the menu should describe the desserts because people are expecting one thing and getting something totally different. Service was very attentive and accommodating. It's in the shopping plaza so parking is plentiful. My only thing is Don't expect a quiet intimate experience! And yes they still do the birthday song there (which surprised me only cause I thought this was set out to be different ) They need to re do their dessert menu with descriptions and keep embracing the Fusion part of the concept because it will make the food and idea stand out among the other Italian restaurants. read more
