This seafood boil spot inside the mall has become one of my go-to places and it's mostly thanks to their garlic butter sauce! There's just something about it that keeps me coming back. It's not mind-blowing, but it's solid, flavorful, and pairs really well with their seafood, which is always cooked just right, not overly done like some places. My husband and I both enjoy the food here, and I've consistently received great customer service. Even on the one occasion they forgot part of my order (they missed the crab legs), the staff handled it quickly and professionally, which really impressed me. Mistakes happen, but how they're handled says a lot and that's what keeps loyal customers. That said, I do wish the overall cleanliness of the place was better especially the bathrooms. I've never been comfortable using them, and when you're about to dig into (or just finished) a hands-on seafood boil, having a clean restroom is kind of essential. Washy washy!! Because of that, my husband and I almost always opt for takeout and enjoy it in the comfort of our home. Ugh! Lower your expectations, then lower them some more & maybe you'll be prepared. First off, the place is runned down & doesn't seem to be very clean, as evidenced by uncleared tables, (on a slow night) trash strewn about the floors & a peek into the prep area while walking to my table showed that they're not very fussy. I visited the ladies room to find more trash & paper littered on the floor, two of the three stalls out of service, one of the two sinks out of service & only one of the two towel dispensers working. I managed to wash my hands & get a towel which I used to touch the doorknob to exit the bathroom. I noticed a sign asking customers to bring any concerns about the cleanliness of the bathroom to Ruby Tuesday staff!!! Ruby Tuesday went out of business at this location years ago but the new restaurant never changed the sign, or took care of the bathroom from the looks of things. Now for the food. We ordered a sampling of different foods to share, family style. The fried calamari appetizer was terrible! Looked like it came precooked & bagged from the frozen aisle at the supermarket. The seafood boil bag was a disappointment! I found many of the clams broken or dead (shells never opened during boiling). The supposed king crab legs were much smaller than I'm used to getting anywhere else. The only things worth eating in the boil bag were the corn on cob & potatoes. Very poor quality food for Market Prices! We tried a po boy for the first time. While I didn't care much for it, I had nothing to compare it to, as I've never had one before. Suffice it to say that I didn't care for it. The fried shrimp basket was tolerable, but calling it good would be a stretch. On the bright side, our waitress was friendly & prompt. I'm very suspicious of all the 5 Star ratings for this place. I didn't think anything could get any worse than Red Lobster, but this gives it a run for its money! This place is typical chain restaurant fare, not much different from your run of the mill TGIchillobees. Low quality food at high end prices and unkempt front of house & bathrooms. I can only imagine what back of house looks like. Save your money or go someplace else. read more

The wait staff girl that worked with us must have been high on drugs- she was jittering and erratic; I was served spoiled cole slaw and threw up all over there bathroom (which was a poorly taken care of disgrace by the way) who I returned the waitress was actually fighting with my mother over how much tip she should leave- I lost my mind and the manager had nothing intelligent yo respond with. Last time we will ever be dining there and I will deter anybody I can as well. What a rip off. Ordered a Shrimp Po Boy on their website costs $16.90 plus $1.00 "convenience" fee. When I went in to pick up order, I looked at their menu while I waited. Item costs $13.00. What if I ordered 10 items. When I complained to checkout person they said I should have called and placed order manually. Sounds nuts. The food is fantastic whether I come for lunch, dinner. The prices are fantastic. The boils are delicious. The breaded chicken wings, shrimp fried or boiled are irresistible. The Cajun fries have a great kick to them and the batter is so light. The happy hour is 1 to 7 mon to fri. Beers and food are also on the menu for happy hour. BAD RESTAURANT! A week ago I ordered RAW oysters but when it arrived it tasted like water with a weird smell and stinky ocean taste. Normal raw oysters would have a fresh taste, but ours didn't. It tasted too bad to finish so we didnt finish it all. I complained it tasted weird and non fresh so they apologized but they gave us the check without a void for the oysters. We went complained it again and they end up only gave us a 10% discount which is less than the cost of the oysters. One of the waitress then told us that the chef was new, and instead of using fresh raw oysters, they "accidentally" defrosted the frozen ones to served us. I didn't think much of it for 2 days until my daughter told me she started having a stomach ache and headache. Turns out a few days later my daughter and I had a stomach virus after eating it and my daughter didn't go to school for a few days due to the "raw" oysters. I strongly suggest you not come to this restaurant if you don't want to take your health at this risk. read more

I went here yesterday Sunday June 12th. It looks like a chain restaurant but I don't think it is. My guess is it is Asian owned because every staff member was Asian except one and although the menu and the atmosphere looked like a chain restaurant, they did not have the organization and polish one would expect. The first major complaint was the restaurant was hot, not sure if they were having issues with their AC but it was getting worse and by the time we left I couldn't wait to leave because I was sweating so much. The food is the bright spot here, it's good, but not something I would say I need to go back for, it was just good but far from great. The waitress seemed so stressed which made her seem unfriendly, but I think that's a cultural thing, I don't thing it was intentional, but I know many Asian friends are not the warm and fuzzy type and if I didn't know this, I would think she was rude, but she really wasn't. Her service was good but definitely not the type of waitress I enjoy when I went a enjoyable day out to eat, she was very robotic and had no small talk or friendliness, but I could tell she was trying. For the record I noticed she was also sweating, so I understand. It was hot. This was our first time here and most likely my last. The price was very reasonable, so if you want deadpan service, with decent food, you may want to give it a shot. read more
