Came here for a date day before the Raptors game. I have always been curious as there is such a long line. I was surprisingly able to get a reservation just a few days before the game. Ambiance - 4/5: similar to most sports bar, it's dim and loud with a lot of sports games on tv. They had a lot of reservations so the tables were split off for our small reservation. It felt a little tight. There seems to be 2 levels of seating. Service - 3.75/5: we got there early but they were nice enough to seat us early. The host sweetly pulled out my seat for me. It took us awhile to decide what to order but the server was patient with us. He checked in on us a few times. Maybe because the tables are tight, servers kept knocking into my chair seving other patrons and my seat is all the way into the table. Food - 3.5/5: I appreciate that the menu gives little historical moments that happened over the years. we ordered: Spinach dip - comes with chips and pita. Some of the chips were heavily seasoned. The pita is soft but doesnt really absorb much of the spinach dip. The dip itself is light in flavor. I prefer the chips over the pita Steak frites - we ordered medium rare and they got the cook right. The steak knife is very bendy. It should have been a AAA striploin but for some reason it felt tough and was hard to cut through. The charcoal grill marks made the exterior too burnt, giving it a bitterness to the steak. It came with an arugula salad and a very genorous portion of fries. Everything was seasoned well. The arugula salad and the chimmichuri on the steak had a tartness to it which added some brightness to the dish. I typically don't use ketchup but I needed it to help me with the fries. I could not finish the fries Sundae - there's probably only 1 scoop worth of vanilla ice cream. It comes in a cup with whipped cream and berries. Overall: 3.75/5 - If we come back, I might try other food items. read more

We decided to eat here before a raptors game. It's conveniently located and attached to the scotiabank center arena. We walked up without reservation and were given a ticket and told to head upstairs. We were seated right away and luckily got there before the rush before the game. I had sliders and my son had the flatbread pizza. We enjoyed both. The atmosphere is pretty cool with large screen tvs and everywhere. I had the holy mackinaw which really is just Mac and cheese with chicken and bacon. I loved it. Cheese was definitely melted and the spices just worked. They used spiral pasta instead of the traditional macaroni shape. We were a large group so it took some time to get everyone's order. Glad we were able to get separate billing as they don't normally do it for large groups. Not many people during a Friday lunch time so the food actually came pretty quickly. It's a bit pricy due to its location but at least the food is good. read more

The RealSports Bar & Grill is a spot that's been special to me since I was young. My Dad used to take me here before concerts and Toronto Maple Leafs games, and now my wife and I stop in anytime we're in Toronto for anything; a game, a concert, or just a fun night out. We absolutely love this place. It's the perfect sports bar: an insane number of gigantic TVs, all showing different games, high-energy vibes, and consistently great service. Food-wise, we ALWAYS get the Garlic Knots; they're our absolute favourite. We've never had a bad menu item here, and the drinks are always solid. One important tip: I highly recommend booking in advance, especially on any sort of game day. This place fills up fast, and for good reason. What do you mean you don't take American IDs as you are in a touristy city and you are connected to the border to America?? Then they were all talking about us. Just weird and annoying. Visited on Sunday to watch the Canadian Grand Prix and it was packed which made it a great experience. Despite the crowds service as relatively smooth. The garlic bread and jalapeño dip were particularly tasty. Huge screens and the sound on; can't ask for much more. read more

Pretty cool spot to pregame before a game. We came here about 3 hours before a maple leafs vs kings game and it pretty much filled up with maple leafs fans by the time we left and there was still a long line waiting to get in. Huge screen in the middle and TVs all around showing different sports. Menu is only two pages, but they have a variety of sandwiches, burgers, Asian, nachos, and some vegan options, too. Good selection of drinks, too. I got the Taiwanese beef bowl and it was pretty good. Our server disappeared for a while, so that's why I took off a star. We flagged down another server and she was friendly and took our order. When our server was helping us, she was also friendly. here is my personal story with Real Sports. I went to Real Sports when they first opened seven or eight years and i thought it was a magical experience but it was very expensive. that brings us to Super bowl LX. Toronto is the heart of NFL fans in Canada. So i thought i see what the buzz was about for the Super bowl. First off, Real Sports have set up a special room. Sadly most of my friends who i spent previous Super bowl have passed away so i needed to find a way to creat the buzz. The ambiance is totally off the charts. It is an experience. The service was top notch. They checked on me regularly. Now on to the food. I had the fish and chips with a caesar salad. The fish was really good it was a large piece and super flaky and tasty. The fries were underwhelming. but the three salads i had were great coleslaw, beet salad and the ceasar salad. on top of this i had a blueberry sundae which was simple but so so good. Real Sports can be expensive but if you are looking for a one a kind of experience real Sports delivers. I would if they will have the men's olympic hockey final on Sunday at 8 am? The Proline guys were a nice touch and i got a miller lite hat that was comfortable. so it put a smile on my face. read more

I wasn't going to write a review on this, but when real sports sent me a email asking how my visit was and I was completely honest, the Email I received back from them was absolutely horrendous. I booked reservations for the WWE pre party on January 26 at 4pm we were greeted nicely by the hostess and taken to our table. Our server came took drink orders and food orders no issue. It was extremely cold in there, so I asked our server if they were going to turn the heat on or talk to someone to turn it up. She told me she would - anyways that did not happen, my 9 year old daughter had to put her jacket back on, and asked me for my parka to put over her legs she was that cold. Food came out in reasonable time no issues there the 4 of us ate, than after a couple of more drinks my colleague asked the waitress for a menu back because he wanted more food, Kalya G I believe was the servers name took about 25 minutes to get us a menu back. When she brought us our bill and we all paid she apologized how it was cold in there etc. Fast forward to the survey I did when they sent me a email asking me to do it. I told them everything I did in this review. I received a email back (see attached picture) the waitress first off told us we had a guest arrive 30 minutes late and that's why she couldn't get the menu back to us again when we all arrived together. Second of all she accused me of using my daughter to get "free drinks" by saying she was cold, and that she alerted the manager "Jon" right away of the issue, I watched the manager Jon walk by us numerous times, any manager knowing that a 9 year old little girl was cold I assume would've came over and spoke with us regarding the issue. This email I received back was so unprofessional and rude and painted myself and my colleagues out to be absolutely awful people which is insane. I've had multiple work events and private parties hosted at real sports and I can guarantee you I will NOT be coming back after that unprofessional email I received. Please see attached email. I will get straight to the point. Came here with my family. One of my family members has an anaphylactic peanut and tree nut allergy. When requesting to speak to a manager regarding menu items and which have any of the following in the ingredients, or which have come in contact with any of the following, they recommended ONLY A BURGER and to substitute the bun with lettuce so it can resemble a burger, and seriously had the nerve to charge $2 for the slice of lettuce. It's the principle that something like that shows poor ethics on the behalf of its staff to charge someone with an anaphylactic allergy to replace a menu item, as they're the ones who offered to change the burger bun for the lettuce. Not only is this poor practice on the behalf of a business, this restaurant lacks knowledge in addressing COMMON food allergies with their employees and kitchen staff. It's unfortunate that a restaurant of this size, doesn't take allergies seriously. On top of that, they charged $25 for a glass of Sauvignon Blanc ! I dine very frequently at high end restaurants and have never been charged over $20 for a glass. I will never return here and I hope anyone with such an allergy, understands that this isn't a place that will take your allergy into consideration. read more

Really large main TV and a ton of secondary TVs scattered around the place. Ordered the 6ix Burger (23). Pretty solid. Kind of what you expect for a pub-style burger. This came absolutely loaded with fries though. Really, a crazy amount. Which is great throughout the game to just snack on after finishing the burger. It's a sports bar on steroids for Toronto. Highly recommend if there's a big game/fight you want to watch. From a service level, amazing. I have to preface this by saying I don't care for sports unless it's March madness. But the manager on duty was really on point when it came to me addressing scheduling conflicts/misunderstandings purely on my point. I guess my only gripe is a Michelin-esque factor where I wait to see how long it takes for someone to realize my drink is done and I need another. Not fair for a sports bar but this place is in an area that is high traffic and markets itself as a premiere spot. Whether I'm in central London, Dallas, or central London it's one of those small things I look at from a service perspective. I recognize that it was before a very busy point in the night but still service shouldn't wane. It took around 10 minutes. I was hoping to get a bottle of sparkling water which they were out of. I also asked for an aperol spritz and Hugo spritz which again they could not do. I'm nitpicking and really if you just wanna slam a couple beers with the boys and enjoy the game. First I have to say this wasn't our first time here and after our experience on New Years Day, before the Dave Chapelle show it won't be our last! We had reservations which was a plus (we often stand for walk in). High table behind the booths near the big screen and the view was perfect. Our waitress Emily was AMAZING. She was so personable, attentive and overall incredible. Two of us enjoyed the vegan burger and it was delicious as always. Side of fries is a must here (and I'm not a fry person but definitely enjoy them here). Our other friend (who hadn't been here before) had the Nashville chicken sandwich with poutine and she mentioned both were great. In fact at one point said, you know the food is good when no one is talking! It's a sports bar. TVs and giant projectors everywhere but a modern design all around. Burgers were amazing. Seasoned just right and jucy. Trophy Burger is 2 × 50 day aged smash patties, young mimolette cheese, aged golden blythe, bacon jam, beef brother bacon, truffle aiolo, baby arugula, and hot house tomato, all on a brioche bun. A combo that is so subtly sweet and very savory. Not a bite wasn't beefy bacon goodness with that truffle and tomato hinting their way in with every bite. A very filling Burger for its relatively small stature. Fries seem fresh cut and where crispy. Mini burgers with maple bacon where perfect. All right infront of Scotiabank Arena. Very nice read more

I've been coming here for years but it seems to have dropped off a touch. Came for St Patricks day lunch and March madness. Had the chicken tenders (very good), garlic Parmesan chicken wings (my favourite but this time there wasn't enough garlic or Parmesan despite the fact that I told the waiter to get extra on it) and nachos with chicken (awful. I've had this before and it was great then. This is totally different. It used to be a massive pile and now it's flat. The flavour was poor as well. Just sucked). Ordered their Halloween special for take out last night, which comes with pizza and wings for $23+ tax. I picked the FancyPants Garlic fingers and jerk BBQ chicken wings. Fancy Pants garlic fingers - this is supposed to be a pizza but the name really intrigued me so I decided to give it a try. Plus the menu say it's supposed to come with AAA dry aged striploin, and white truffle honey. The actual item turned out to be way less exciting than I was hoping for. The garlic fingers basically are thick doughy cheese bread. There were very tiny pieces of striploin spread on the pizza. The garlic sauce and white truffle honey came as a side and I think you are supposed to drizzle them on when you eat, which makes sense so it doesn't get soggy. Personally, I thought this was tasty but it literally just feels like I'm eating regular cheesy garlic bread. They actually have garlic fingers on their reg menu. I really don't think it's worth $20 even with the "fancypants", but it's worth a try with the current promotion if this is what you are craving. Jerk BBQ chicken wings - the 1lb came with around 6 wings. this is not a dry rub but also not too saucey. Not really crispy either. I was expecting more of a kick but it wasn't spicy at all. Unfortunately the food turned out to be quite underwhelming, but I know the restaurant is trying during this difficult time and I appreciate that they are running promotions to maintain business. Very spacious sports bar, especially since the renovation! If you want to watch sports on a 2+ story screen, this is your spot. We came here during lunch on a weekday, and it may have been a bit more crowded than usual. The wait times for our food was quite long and the staff were sort of sparse. Their food selection has also been simplified with their new menu. I got the fried buffalo chicken burger with sweet potato fries. It's a very tasty burger! It really does taste just like buffalo chicken, but a more mellow version that isn't overly sour. The fries are also crisp yet soft, with a great dipping sauce to accompany it. The portion is more than enough to fill you up. Prices aren't too outrageous for the area, but definitely a little higher than expected if you are just there for a bite. read more

I met some colleagues downtown at the Real Sports Bar and Grill. It was my first time there, it was a really nice place to go if you want to watch the games on TV with your friends, family, and loved ones. The hostess and the host were all friendly. The menu was very heavy on libations with a decent menu that had a lot of burger type choices. If you know me, I love adobo. So when I saw and adobo Fish Sandwich on the menu I will admit that is part my curiosity. So I ordered the Adobo Fish Sandwich with fries. Our server seemed to be doing double duty tonight at the bar and working tables. So in my opinion it caused us to have a little bit of slow service early but the pace picked up over the evening. The food came and it looked delicious. I FORGOT to take a picture of my entree. The Adobo Fish Sandwich was definitely unique but it was light on the adobo flavor. It was okay but I'd have to get something else next time. The bathrooms were clean. The sinks and soap dispensers were fine. I often check to make sure that they are working properly. The only thing was the water was cold and not hot water. But they did have a paper towels! So many other places are usually out of paper towels. read more

When searching, Yelp showed them as closed. When you call, nobody picks up, it's a reservation line, so you actually have to go there to see if they are open. Lucky for us, they were! I walked by the Real Sports Bar & Grill on my way out of Scotiabank Arena after a Leafs game. Didn't think to much about it and carried on. A few days later, I met with some work colleagues at Real Sports Bar & Grill for lunch. I couldn't help but think to myself that I messed up. I should've came here to pregame before the Leafs game. Hah! Real Sports Bar & Grill was extra AF, so go there to get the ultimate sports bar experience. I was totally blown away by how huge the bar was. The bar took up one whole side of the restaurant, and there were taps lined up from end-to-end. You also can't miss the giant big screen TV above the bar. The restaurant in general was massive. The place could surely occupy tons of people, and what's great was I found that every seat was in line to viewing multiple TVs. Service was fine. Our waitress was attentive. We advised her that we needed a rush on our orders, because someone from our party needed to catch a flight. She made that magic happen, and our food came out promptly. The food was decent. I tried the calamari, some type of flatbread, and nachos. The calamari was crispy and not too heavy on the batter. It came with a garlic aioli sauce and pesto sauce, and they complimented the calamari. I didn't care much for the flatbread. I don't even remember what was on it. Real Sports Bar & Grill's take on nachos was interesting. I didn't look at the menu, so perhaps it was a specialty item. The nachos had arugula, pepperoni, grated Parmesan, and some type of cream sauce on top. It tasted very much like a pizza, which I thought was bizarre. Still tasty though. read more

Came here with some friends before a Raptors game. My favourite part of this place was the atmosphere. There were so many TVs all around the place, even the bathrooms. I didn't have to worry about missing any part of any game. The service here was great. All the staff members were very friendly and the food came out quickly. We got: Jamaican Beef Patties ($16) [ground short rib, brisket, crispy pastry, jerk aioli] I was very surprised by how delicious these were! The beef filling made it like a gourmet patty. Fan Fave Wings ($18) ‍[a pound of their signature jumbo wings, marinated in buttermilk and spices, dipped in a crispy coating, and tossed in your choice of sauce] I tried their garlic parm and bbq wings. I loved their wings so much that I wish they had more pieces in there. It was my first time at this establishment and it was after the Mariah Carey Xmas concert. I wanted to chill as the crowd died down outside. I decided to order a hot tea and a pizza to munch on. From the looks of this place, it was nice and looked pretty. The sports bar area had a huge movie theater sized screen playing the football game and had smaller tv screens bordering it playing other sports games. Thankfully I wasn't starving but they served my pizza on a baking sheet with a rack on top so it literally looked like it came from the oven all nice and fresh, but when they placed it on the table, it looked more like it came out of a frozen pizza box, yup, a frozen pizza box. The dough was hard and so literally I had to bite the center of it and then realized the dough underneath the cheese was still undercooked and mushy, yet the top layer of burnt dry cheese looked like it was sitting there already made and they reheated the darn thing but obviously the cheese was not fresh or melting or hot, more like spongy plastic. The one item that look most appealing was the pepperonis and they looked nice and crispy on the edges but I could t even grab one off the pizza because they were stuck in that cement cheese. I had a slice, okay maybe two to give it the benefit of the doubt but I decided i wanted to keep my front teeth. Overall everyone looked like they were enjoying drinks mostly and watching the game. So it's great for sports and drinks but just don't order the hard old pizza for $20. It could have had 5 stars, 4 of which was because of the clean establishment, drinks, and a wall of screens for sports. read more

I came here today on a game night for the first time. The atmosphere and service was great. For food, we got the popcorn chicken, nachos, chicken tenders, mvp burger, the 6ix burger, the spicy bbq pulled pork sandwich and sourpatch cocktail. They were all quite delicious except for my spicy bbq pulled park sandwich. I'd give it a 1/5 star if I could. I was expecting the pulled pork to be pulled but it wasn't and I thought it would be somewhat spicy but what I got was dry, bland, tasteless meat. You couldn't even see the sauce...I had two bites of my $19 sandwich and couldn't even finish...it was so bad. I feel like the price is quite overpriced for what it actually is too. read more
