If you're looking for a cozy hometown style shop with more traditional coffee roasts this is the spot! I found the interior very charming, offered some nice choices for pastries and retails beans, and had a great chat with the barista about the joys of corporate America. I ordered an espresso which came with a side of sparkling water (shops that give you bubbles deserve more praise) and the spro had really nice texture and pleasant lemon acidity. Overall, I'd recommend this shop for studying or hanging with friends!

Finally dropped in on my off-day. As a quick afternoon pick-me-up, I really enjoyed their latte. Freshly brewed as I was chatting with the barista, it was a warm break on this cold November day. With no bitter taste and warm milk, the silky smooth consistency was a great sensation. I'll try to drop by again or at their other locations! As the first location for Realfine coffee, I was surprised that it was a coffee shop. The outside instead looks like a car shop. There's a decent amount of parking for its area and some spaces along the busy street. The barista was nice and chatty. It would be a nice place to grab a quick bite or a coffee with a friend, if it wasn't for COVID. Right now, they have some COVID restrictions in place: masks required, no seating, 3 people inside at a time. I'm glad that they're taking COVID seriously and protecting their customers. Some masks and hand sanitizer are available as well.

I was super excited to try a new coffee shop in West Seattle. Their coffee is DELICIOUS! The barista was very welcoming and I liked the music that was playing when I walked in. This coffee shop is kept clean and organized. I enjoyed my quick visit and can't wait to drink some more coffee here again.

Their name pretty much says it all. But also... doesn't. Because pastries! Snackage! Deliciousness! In the interest of transparency, I didn't intend on visiting. I didn't even know the place existed. (It's a small, quaint and quietly inconspicuous coffee shop.) I was in west seattle for a haircut at Rudy's (stupid me used their online scheduler and had chosen the wrong location, but didn't want to cancel, so made the drive anyways). :-p Rudy's (nextdoor) was BUSY, and I had to wait, so I stepped next door to check the shop out. BEST.... DECISION... EVER. Tasty and BEAUTIFULLY crafted coffee. If/when they're open... I highly recommend a visit. It's worth the side-jaunt, even if you're not in West Seattle, itself!

Fantastic local coffee shop - they use Herkimer Coffee. Espresso is well pulled, smooth and balanced. Decor is clean, modern, but comfy. They have a selection of incredible pastries from Josh Grunig (of pop-up Pocket Bakery fame, currently "Standard Bakery"). They've also got "Molly's" premade breakfast wraps / salads available for lunch. Also - they are attached to a newer Rudy's barbershop - perfect place to wait! Highly recommended. read more

Was going to give 4, but why? This place has great coffee, killer wifi, yummy food, seating, happy staff, great branding, ceramic cups for drinking there, good hours, hip decor, etc... only slight is limited parking, but that BS is not worth a star, especially due to their fine brew. read more

Amazing drinks, friendly baristas, delicious Ginger Molasses cookies & other baked goods from Macrina Bakery.... This shop is fantastic, and the owner is so sweet! The only downside to this place is that it can be tough to get to, especially if you are on the wrong side of the road & there's traffic. Just keep that in mind if it's your first time visiting! But don't worry - it's worth it :) read more

Realfine Coffee has been one of my favorite discoveries during this 3 week trip to Seattle. It's a little coffee shop with a lovely Synesso that they use with great skill! My 3 shot Americanos have been perfection! And they sell Standard Bakery goods! The blackberry pistachio croissant is amaze balls! And finally, the baristas always smile! None of that hipster awkwardness here. They've only been open a short few weeks and it already seems a smooth operation! Bravo! I hope to visit every time I'm in Seattle! read more

I'm on a mission to find the best cappuccino in West Seattle. This rates right at the top. Good flavor coffee, beverage temperature is just right & the glorious foam rises above the rim of the cup welcoming me to this deliciousness. I didn't buy a snack as they didn't tempt me ( the biscotti at Thriftway is my fav) & the wait for service was a few minutes. No biggie. Midday, it was one barista & there was a holiday shopper in front of me. Quirky location; I've passed it many times & never noticed it. Definitely worth checking out! read more

Was so happy to find that Realfine Coffee opened up on Pine Street. Was able to get a delicious Decaf Americano a few times this past weekend. I think it took a while for Realfine to open their doors in this location, but it was worth the wait! I wasn't able to sit and drink, but will do so in the near future. The cafe seating and environment is very inviting. I can't say enough about how friendly the folks working there are! The barista even remembered my drink! I highly recommend you check it out when on Capitol Hill. read more

I stopped here about a month ago for the first time on my way to a new job and always make sure to stop by every time I work in West Seattle now. I believe she is the owner who has been there every time, and she has ALWAYS been kind and not pretentious like a lot of small coffee shops can be. She even remembered that I had just started a new job and asked how it was going. The espresso is delicious and I would support RealFine Coffee over Starbucks any day. On the weekends they serve these little doughnuts that are my weakness!! Thanks for being so outgoing and welcoming!!! read more

Realfine coffee could not be a better name for this stylish hip, with a cool laid back vibe coffee shop. The store is located next to Rudies barbershop and very easy to find, with ample off street and street parking. Julie, the owner is a seasoned barrista exemplified by her fine taste in beans- Herkimer and other products including baked goods. I ordered the soy chai latte, my friends a cappuccino and the kids the perfect temped Hot Chocolate. We will be back! Great spot to pop in for a smooth cup of coffee on the go or sit down and take in the good vibes. Oh and they serve beer! read more

Finally! A great new addition to West Seattle that I'm sure to frequent. Realfine serves up the smoothest, most delicious coffee I've had in some time! It's just ok. Service was very slow considering I was the only customer in line. When the barista finally got around to acknowledging me, she seemed put out. The coffee is fine but no better than Starbucks. Price is fair. Probably won't go back. read more

This place is great! Attached to Rudy's barber shop, the people are really nice and the coffee is really good. I had a soy latte this morning and I must go back. Dear god. Silky and with the appropriate espresso strength. Limited parking available and easy access to the West Seattle Bridge. read more

Ordered a tall soy latte for $4.25, which was a tad pricey, but it was good. The interior is small, nice, clean and industrial-mod-ish. The location is a little awkward to get to depending on what side of the neighborhood you're coming from since it's on busy Fauntleroy, and on-site parking is limited. I'd probably be back if it were convenient, but I probably wouldn't go out of my way for a cup of better-than-Starbucks coffee. read more

Gorgeously remodeled by Julie and Mike, this place is just as warm and welcoming as the West Seattle Blog would have you believe. Herkimer beans, Standard Baking pastries, lovely Nuflours treats for the glutenless, and an intricately spiced local chai. This might be our favorite West Seattle establishment -- and there are many we like. Julie and her staff are so nice that we'd probably come every day even if the coffee wasn't top notch. First off, I am not from the W Seattle area (LA, CA is my home) but I come to W Seattle regularly. My son introduced me to this place and there is really only one coffee place I will visit now. This place truly deserves the 5 star rating it has! The coffee they serve is very very very good (a given in the Seattle area) but more importantly the baristas are prompt and on the spot. I usually order something that is a little offbeat and they do not even flinch at what I asked. THAT makes me feel like I am being treated like a regular at and not some out of towner. The one thing that made decide to write this review was the fact that they default service to an in house mug (as opposed to paper) I hate seeing trash cans full of paper cups from people who sit down at a table, such a waste and they are doing their small part to limit that waste. Their baked goods are fresh and tasty and the parking is adequately easy (a little tight) to get in and out the store. read more

Can coffee be this good? Why yes it can! Holy cow hands down best coffee in west Seattle. Cute shop, nice friendly folks every visit. What more can you ask for? At first I thought it was the beans that made their coffee so good, but bought some and didn't think they were that good- so assume you have to know what you're doing with those beans and apparently I don't. They are willing to make your bevvy dreams a reality. In retrospect, some of the flavor combinations I've suggested are nightmares. But, I am a Goblin. The interior has themed rooms which are kept clean by Seattle and Goblin standards, but would be considered fairly dirty anywhere in Japan. It can get busy on the weekends, but this Goblin knows what it's like to be slammed, so I wait patiently and be respectful. It's nice to see an unpretentious flavor forward cafe run by young women doing so well. Their Hazelnut lattes don't lack flavor and taste like you "don't get it". Their coffee tastes like you were finally invited to the dance. While the market has decided that a Goblin will pay at least $8 for a coffee now, I'll fight back my Goblin tears and say "WORTH IT, WORTH IT, YOU ARE WORTH IT!". I took 1 star off because no place is perfect. I'd also like to see patrons of West Seattle businesses do more as a community to keep these spaces clean and tidy.

It turned out to be one of the best cups of chowder I've ever had--rich, flavorful, and loaded with crab. I sat at the bar, where Joyce took great care of me. Her kindness, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality made an otherwise difficult day a little easier. Great service can make a real difference, and she absolutely delivered. Salty's isn't the cheapest dining option at SEA, but between the quality of the food, the relaxed atmosphere, and the outstanding service, I think it's well worth it. The chowder alone isn't enough to carry a $60+ meal. Would I come back? Maybe for a cup of chowder at the bar. Not for the full experience.

The oysters were the main draw for me, and they were totally worth the visit. Old Stove serves them with a savory watermelon sauce in addition to a traditional cocktail sauce--eaten together, it's a flavor explosion that I can't quite describe. We also enjoyed the garlic everything fries, which were delicious! We just had to try a flight to sample the brews. There are some really good beers available here, especially the Belgian blonde, citra pale ale, and the stout. I did not really care for the seasonal sour (grapefruit, I think)--to me, it just tasted like a sour and nothing more, but someone with more interest in sour beers would probably enjoy it just fine. Despite the busy night, our server checked on us regularly and was very personable, stopping to chat with us about the local sports scene. There's plenty to look at, inside and out. If you can snag a seat outside, you'll get to enjoy the waterfront. Inside, the decor is industrial but fun. Not sure if this runs all the time, but when we were there, the tvs were playing vintage beer ads, which was quite fun. They also sell some pretty good t-shirt designs. Overall, Old Stove Brewing is the perfect combo of good location, good food, and good beer. Definitely recommend a visit when in the Pike Place area!

Has that Classic West Seattle grunge-type feel to it. I felt like Eddie Vedder and almost busted out some Lightening Bolt lyrics after the great house blend coffee and chill hip environment. Looked like some Sounders players were in there. They can probably style your hair like Chris Cornell if you want in the barbershop side. Friendly uplifting service with a cute smile.
