According to my recent reviews, my hunt for the best matcha is going strong. I have been to Realfine's Fauntleroy location (connected to Rudy's Barbershop) a couple years ago and it was soooo good! I saw they opened this location, and I pass it almost everyday, but haven't made the time to stop in... now I regret not coming sooner! I appreciate the consistency in service and quality. I walked in and was greeted with two friendly baristas! Being a barista myself, I have been out off by the lack of warmth I feel when I enter other coffee shops but that was not the case at Realfine-- which is a big reason why I will definitely be back! They were so nice and genuinely asking about my day and my pup that was in my arms, educating me on their drinks, offering to help me with the door and open the doggy treat jar, etc. I got an iced matcha latte with vanilla and oatmilk. It was so good and the best I have had during my hunt! Thank you, Realfine, for a great experience!

Best latte in the area! Amanda is super sweet, friendly, and the best barista! Also super clean environment--perfect for working remotely.

Great coffee, super friendly service. I wish I lived closer to this local shop. I settled for a take home bag of their roasted beans.

I have been wanting to try this place for a while. I got the iced Cardi B (a latte with house-made…read morecardamom brown sugar syrup with espresso and almond milk) and my fiance an iced mocha. The first sip of the Cardi B, my eyes rolled back, and I nodded to how good it was. It's not too sweet (I ordered all of this online on their website for pick up and was not able to ask for it half sweet, but glad they didn't over-sweeten it). The cardamom flavor is prominent, so if you don't like that flavor, I'd choose something else. I also ordered some breakfast items. I got the Lil' Verda, which is a breakfast burrito on a flour tortilla with scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese, avocado, and salsa verde ( I also added sausage to it). It's pretty tasty! It's a big burrito for being on a medium flour tortilla. I got the fiancé a breakfast sandwich on a brioche bun (you can choose what bread you want; they even have gluten-free) that came with scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese, and I added bacon for him (adding a meat was only $2, which is reasonable). As I said, I pre-ordered everything on their online ordering system. My order was ready when I got there as promised. The staff member who helped me was super nice and pointed out where the hot sauce (Tapatio) and straws were. They do have separate windows for ordering and pickup. If you order online, just head to the pick-up window. It is a little spendy (breakfast sandwich w/ added meat $10.75, burrito w/ added sausage $12.75, and two espresso drinks at roughly $8 and some change), however, everything is going up in price (Gas is up to $5.09 +), so take that as you will. Overall, it's a cute little spot nestled in a neighborhood. There is street parking, but it's in an area that isn't too hard to find parking, as it is further away from the very busy spots of West Seattle. I'd come back, perhaps take the fiancée there so we can enjoy it fresh.

I would absolutely give it SIX stars if I could for our experience! I got a hot hazelnut latte with banana syrup and my partner got one of the blackberry oat latte specials. We both thought our drinks were next level and we drink a lot of coffee. We had 3 pastries between us and they were all soo good especially the blackberry scone and the mixed berry galette. The staff were all very affable and efficient - the store was very busy being a Saturday morning, but we went through the whole process in under 10 minutes. We checked out the little back courtyard patio area and just soaked up the cozy neighborhood vibe. There was an amazing little gallery next door that I wanted to check out but we had to hit the road and couldn't wait till it opened. Ultimately, the assembly line model helped the line move quickly, allowed for more personable interactions, and the coffee beans that they use was so delicious that I'm ordering some for delivery when I get home. We were literally still talking about the coffee and that scone a day later!

It was so neat to see everyone baking in the back and to select a coffee and fresh pastry from their display. I opted for a ham and cheese croissant and their special coconut cloud cold brew. The croissant was interesting since it used cheddar cheese rather than Swiss and the coconut cloud was just okay. The best pastry that we shared was the kouign amann. Overall, we're big fans of Fresh Flours and will definitely come back to this location again.

In the back there is a huge mural of Dolly Parton, Anthony Bourdain, and a tiny Bob Ross in the style of American Gothic. The walls are covered with trinkets from the 80s and 90s like Homies and California Raisin figurines and KISS Pez dispensers. The food: Smashwich - A really good breakfast sandwich. The hash browns give it some added crunch that is surprising but welcome. Chicken in a Biscuit - The biscuit and chicken taste great. It's a bit hard to eat because of how large of a bite it is and how firm the components are. Vanilla Cream Shokupan Doughnut - The donut portion is tasty and there is a ton of whipped cream on this. The cream is quite heavy though and leaves a fatty mouthfeel. Wish this was a lighter cream that's fresh filled into the pastry, but that's another prep step before serving. Overall, really fun place in terms of the decor, music and interesting twists on food. Oodles of nostalgia is always a positive in my book.
