When he came to pick it up after the repair, he walked in on the office woman talking to the male owner about how they overcharged me the first time. The repair was good both times, but don't waste your money here. I won't get that extra ~200 back, but the mental image of the lady jumping out of her skin with fright as my husband caught her admitting to the overcharge is priceless. Warms my heart lol.

This was a very good choice. George and his staff did the grueling work of haggling with the insurance company, multiple times, over weeks. He also did an excellent job reconstructing my vehicle within the constraints of the insurance coverage. I got my adventure wagon back in good-as-new condition. Customer service and communication were excellent. About 15,000 miles later the rebuild has been tested and proven. Happy to support and rep this business.

Practically unheard of for an autobody shop! California Collision is one of those unicorns. My only regret is not hearing of them sooner. Reflecting back on my involuntary experience of being the receiving end of a rear-end collision on the freeway, California Collision was the clear stand out. Not only did they get my BMW back on the road like it never happened, they handled it like a concierge would. Take that from a regular business traveler that works in the private equity world. George and Team handled everything in my best interests. They are an honest to goodness family business; the real deal- they all share the same last name. The first thing George did during the drop-off process was insist on giving me a walk-thru tour of the *entire* shop and work area. Other shops hesitate and deflect with these requests but George volunteers it first thing without even being asked. After using the restroom on the way out, there was not a corner I didn't see. Communication and customer service is first class- my calls, messages, and emails were always returned in a timely manner. They dealt with insurance and the car rental. I didn't have to do anything besides provide approvals. The job was done exactly how I wanted and even exceeded expectations. My BMW is older now and I expected aftermarket parts but I ended up coming out with all OEM parts at 0 expense to me. Even my optional factory/ OEM+ M-division performance parts were handled. Color match and fit were factory perfect. George is a perfectionist and personally inspects your vehicle after work is done and only releases back to you after it passes his high expectations. I have never ever ever been spoiled by a body shop like this.

He looked at the photos I sent and suggested a quick and cost-effective interim fix. While other auto body shops quoted me thousands of dollars for full body repairs and refused to discuss options to simply make the car drive-safe ahead of my imminent move, Ahmad and his team came through with an efficient and practical solution. Met with the owner around a bumper repair. My insurance company determined that it was classified a collision because the bumper had caught on the curb when I was backing out of a parking place. Bumpers being what they are it was a small hit but the damage to the plastic meant they had to replace the whole thing! it was pay the whole thing out of pocket ot take a point - hadn't had an accident in 40 years. decided to pay out of pocket! Andy was great! kept to his estimate - which was straight forward an reasonable, got it done on time. unfortunately my windshield was broken while at his shop - he had it replaced with no cost to me! great job, great service - honest and kind man! read more

I called their shop after the incident and they quickly arranged for my vehicle to be towed to their shop (it was not drivable). The tow service was great, being both efficient and timely. Jimmy, one of the managers, arranged for me to obtain a rental car and even dropped me off at the rental facility. After dropping off my car, shop staff kept me periodically updated on the status of the repairs. One key part was apparently in recall status and not available through the dealer. The repairs could not be finalized without this part, potentially causing issues with my rental car availability if not resolved. Understanding the potential problem, the managers of the shop worked to resolve the issue quickly to my satisfaction, explains to me in detail the options available. Shortly thereafter my car was ready for pickup. The managers arranged for my rental car to be picked up from the shop (saving me a bunch of time), and Josh in the front office ensures my vehicle pickup went smoothly. I simply can't ask for more in a body shop.

Sam was my estimator and after crawling around under my car (she got right down on the ground in the parking lot!) she said it was repairable, that they would be able to do the work and it would be covered by the other drivers insurance. Hallelujah! I dropped my car off a week later. Sam kept me updated throughout the process and on Friday of that same week the repair was complete and I was able to be reunited with my car. Cannot thank Sam and Husteads enough for their professionalism and the repair work they did. Here's hoping I don't need more repair work in the future but if I do I know where I'll be going.

I was pleasantly surprised to hear that it was possible to order a replacement mirror that morning, and possibly have my car ready to go by that afternoon. (This was after a different auto shop told me that the whole thing would take a few days). They then told me that they could do the same with my missing front door handle. By 1:30 PM, Autrotrends called me to inform me that my car was ready to be picked up. I arrived at 4:00 PM and was shocked. Not only was the replacement mirror on and the door handle replaced, but they had washed the inside and outside of my car - without asking!! (I've had my car for over two years and had never washed the inside, and have only washed the outside twice, so this was quite a big deal).
