After checking their webiste and learning of the company history and their insurance coverage, I called and spoke with Sullivan Garret. Sullivan answered all of my questions and gave me a summary of the company and that is was a family run business that enjoyed the work they did.. He was also the only one to explain the Franchise Tax Board withholding for rental property sales that two other agents failed to mention. He's very personable, easy to speak with and has a great radio voice. The company has a 2 story office building on the corner of Venice and Cardiff making it easily accessible for my parents. It's located near Old Town Culver City. It's local to the Palms, Beverlywood area. As soon as my parents signed the offer on the property, our Redfin Agent emailed Sullivan with all the necessary documents on Christmas Eve. From opening escrow, to signing documents and the wire transfers, everything went smoothly. Sullivan always took the time to answer any questions and explain all costs related to the escrow funds. I never had to leave a voicemail. He communicated via phone and email in a very timely fashion. I couln't have asked for a better escrow experience. However, NO realtor that I have ever seen leaves so much total BS laying on my porch and on other people's porches. No realtor that I have ever seen leaves so much propaganda in their flyers or brochures. I have called out to George Chung, as he's walked down our street, and asked him to not leave this unsolicited litter/debris/trash on my porch. I have called his office? number and requested that he not leave his stuff on my porch. Too often, his large (8.5" x 11") flyers/brochures have found their way onto our neighborhood front lawns, onto our sidewalks, onto our streets and into our gutters. Excepts for leaves, George Chung's droppings are the only TRASH that is conspicuously visible on our streets. No other realtor includes advertisements, stories and commentary that is totally UNRELATED to our neighborhood or real estate as does George Chung. His most recent flyer has a full page dedicated to "life coach" speaker event in Dallas, TX. I will take it upon my self to call each ad's marketing person and tell them what I think about their ads that are ending up on streets and gutters in our neighborhood. One would think that a person would have respect for a community ... especially a community where he works or (allegedly) serves. George Chung "serves" the community, for sure. He "serves" a bunch of TRASH ... trash that eventually gets picked up by me or my neighbors. These days it's difficult and pains me to bend down do something as simple as putting on my socks. I'm tired of picking up things George Chung has left on my porch and on/around my yard. If I could walk painlessly, I'd gather all the George Chung litter and deposit it in front of his 3487 Beethoven St. address in Mar Vista. On a more personal note that is based on George Chung's Israel promo that was included in his latest "newsletter"/debris ... I need to say that I am a Jew who has historical, ancestral and tribal connections to the Middle East (including the Holy Land). Because I'm aware of Middle East history and because I have relatives who presently live in occupied Palestine, I am intimately aware of the injustices and brutality inflicted my Israel on Palestine that has been going on there for nearly 70-years. While George Chung is entitled to his political views and to put his spin on Israel, I have absolutely never invited him to litter my porch or my yard with his propaganda. In that regard, I find George Chung's actions personally and particularly offensive.
