Had a great outing at escape games with the team from Facebook. It is so professionally managed and the visit created a great camaraderie among the team. This is definitely a place to visit and it's fun and have amazing technology to test your intellectual level. Management out there at Reason are extremely friendly and walked us through every step and extended their hands to ensure the whole team felt comfortable and at ease. I will happily recommend this to all my friends and professional acquaintances to try out and get a similar experience. We were so excited to finish the game within the time allocated but was so close and couldn't finish and We are definitely going back there to finish it. I have been to other escape rooms in and around Silicon Valley but so far this is the best since puzzles are so sensible and give good clues but need good intellectual level to finish it on time. read more

We went to the Reason escape room for a work offsite with my coworkers and had a fantastic time! We managed to escape with 5 minutes to spare (and we only had 7 people, so we were pretty proud!) We enjoyed the wide breadth of puzzles, it allowed each person on our team to play to their strengths and contribute. It also helped that many puzzles could be solved in parallel, so if you got stuck you could move to another challenge and come back later. Overall we thought the escape room was incredibly creative, and we loved seeing how new technologies were incorporated into the challenge! We also really enjoyed talking with Crina after we escaped and hearing about how she and her husband created the escape rooms. I would definitely recommend Reason! read more

This room was an awesome experience for my group. The room itself is extremely immersive and each puzzle was well-integrated; the technology and mechanisms are absolutely unique and creative, with intuitive designs. There were a lot of interesting connections between each sub-puzzle which got everyone involved and made communication and teamwork vital. The operator of the room, however, was the one who brought the whole experience together. His friendliness and chill attitude greatly enhanced the experience and helped us through it without being overbearing. 11/10 would recommend. read more

Such a great Escape challenge, this one is really based on your ability to think through the situation with no prior niche trivia needed, and has something cool for everyone in the team to do regardless of them loving science or tech! We had a team ranging from 23 years old to 50 years old, and they all had fun. The environment they've created is very engrossing, making the escape a very very realistic experience. It's like a mixture of Half-Life and Legends of the Hidden Temple. The Escape team keeps changing and updating the puzzles every now and then, and their tech setup works seamlessly without any glitches. The staff is very courteous and friendly too. 3D printing, drones, VR, what not! 10/10 from me and my friends! Would recommend whole-heartedly! read more

Had a great time escaping this room with some new friends! The puzzles were pretty difficult and used a lot of cool modern tech like 3D printers and VR headsets. It was well automated and felt like you were working against the room itself rather than having someone pull the strings behind the scenes. It did feel like the story got lost in the mix though, and it was difficult to strategize and plan out which ones needed to be solved in order. This was a super fun and engaging team-building activity for my department at work. The design, with concurrent problem solving, made it a great experience for a group of 13, and pushed us to effectively communicate to integrate individual work into overall team objectives. I've done several escape rooms and this one is definitely unique!! In addition to typical puzzles, you get to play with VR headsets, drones, 3D printers and all kinds of cool gadgets! Great escape room(s). Have tried both scenarios now, one with work and the other (smaller) as three families together. Great for teambuilding at work, but also great for friends to try something new together. We had four kids with us, three of them teenagers, and they did a great job, solved puzzles on their own and found critical clues. Camille was a great host! Highly recommend this for work AND for families. Our youngest was 10 and she actively participated, but I wouldn't bring kids younger than that. Don't be fooled by the outside of the place or the location, lots of hi tech and fun once you enter. read more

Our team had fun. We were a group of 20 and when we were totally lost they were there to help us. The recap at the end is fun too. They even gave us popcorn because we were cold. I would recommend! Fun, challenging escape room! Great team building event! Our team of 6 went to Reason for a team building event. We all had a fantastic time! The escape room itself was interesting, challenging and exciting! Everyone loved trying out new tech as a way to find the solutions to puzzles. It is also neat that 'older' tech was brought in. If you think about it a minute, you realize you are using technology that spans more than a hundred years! It was good to work with the team in a different context than work. It amplified our strengths and weaknesses, and the debrief at the end allowed us to recognize them as a team. tl;dr Awesomely fun escape room - geared toward team building. 10/10 would recommend. read more

Great team building opportunity! My friends and I went into it with no experience of escape rooms and had an absolute blast. There is a big focus on new technology that does an amazing job of balancing fun, team work and trying to figure out how to survive. Challenging and thought provoking, Reason does a great job of creating a theme inside the escape room and really makes you think about the best way to tackle tasks in a group setting. This is probably one of the best "Escape the Room" setups I have seen. We got to fly drones, 3D print clues, look for answers in Virtual Reality land, and much much more. Everything is designed to be immersive and intuitive, and while you get exposed to the latest and greatest in tech, you don't need any previous experience with it to do the challenges. The hosts are super friendly, and their feedback on our performance as a team was quite insightful. read more

Unfortunately this was quite easily my least favorite escape room, in the bay area. Not a bad experience at all, but the whole event felt like a very uninspired tech demo. It's hard to say much about it without having massive spoilers, but there will be a couple opportunities to use some recent tech items, but it's a very minimalist, insignificant way. I won't go into any more detail, but as someone who has experienced most of what the bay area has to offer, this one was not really worth trying out. If you are heading into the city for escape rooms, just go to Japan town. read more

Celebrated my birthday with the Reason Reactor escape room. It was personally my first escape room, but our group had a handful of experienced escape room-goers. I was impressed by how the game was able to adapt to both the experienced and new players-- it was a fun and challenging experience for everyone. The puzzles themselves were great. The level of polish was fantastic, and I loved the integration of VR, Drones, and a 3D printer. Very cool. The staff was amazing as well. Keep it up! read more

I tried Reason with some colleagues from work and it was great! This was my first escape room, and I found it fun, creative, and challenging. Reason incorporated a lot of interesting technology into the room, including virtual reality which I especially enjoyed. They also had puzzles that appealed to a variety of different skill sets, including math, verbal, and visual reasoning, while also encouraging teamwork. Would definitely recommend it! read more

Just went with my friends. It was so much fun! This escape room is definitely more tech oriented and that took everything up a notch. The owners made a lot of innovative creations and I really appreciated that. We had 12 people in total and we made it out literally at the last second, so we were thrilled at the end. Mike gave us a great introduction and was super nice the whole time! He also let us play with the VR glasses after we were done with the room. The lounge area was also very interesting with a lot of gadgets. If they open up more rooms I will come back for sure! read more
