Friday night, the wife was out of town, and I was looking for something for dinner. Pizza always comes immediately to my mind and Rebellion Pizza was a place that I've enjoyed on previous occasions, but it had been a while since I'd last had it. Sealing the deal, I had some expiring inKind credit that I feared I may not be able to use in time if I waited until the wife got back and Rebellion Pizza accepts inKind. I made the short drive to Rebellion Pizza and placed an order for a Sicilian-style Supreme Leader (pepperoni, sausage, bacon, red onions, bell peppers, mushrooms, garlic, EVOO, topped with red sauce) and a 16" NY-style The Stunner (vodka sauce, fresh jalapenos, cup and char pepperoni, fresh garlic, fresh basil, sesame seeded thin crust and finished with Mike's Hot Honey) for carryout. Each of Rebellion's set topping such as the Supreme Leader and the Stunner were available on each style of pizza. I was informed that it would be approximately a 45 minute wait for my order, but they'd try to get it out quicker. Good pizza is worth the wait especially when the wait isn't nearly as long as estimated. My hot-from-the-oven pizzas were ready for me in under 30 minutes and were still hot and fresh by the time I got home for their unboxing. Both pizzas were delicious, but as different as could be in terms of their crust and toppings. Based on toppings alone, I preferred the more traditional Supreme Leader over the Stunner primarily since I liked the red sauce over the still delicious vodka sauce. I do have to give kudos for Rebellion's judicious use of the Mike's Hot Honey on the Stunner, which offered a welcome, yet subtle, spicy sweet accent to the pie without becoming an overpowering note. As for the crusts, the NY-style was flavorful and foldable with the sesame seeds adding some aesthetic appeal, textural crunch, and "nuttiness". Rebellion's Sicilian was thicker than some others that I've encountered, but the flavorful focaccia-like crust was wonderfully light and airy with a pleasing chew. My order was far more pizza than I could eat by myself at a single sitting so, needless to say, I had a lot of leftovers. I'm a huge proponent of cold pizza for breakfast and both pizzas were still excellent the next morning...although they were still much more enjoyable hot and fresh. I really love Rebellion Pizza. The crusts on both of their styles of pizza are very good. I think their Sicilian crust was exceptional. Their selection of toppings is expansive offering something for virtually everyone. Their execution of their pizza from composition through the cook is consistent from visit to visit and offers solid bang for the buck. Say what you want about Henderson's food scene, but it definitely doesn't lack for outstanding pizza joints. Rebellion Pizza certainly supports the notion that Henderson is where the best pizza in town is found. Rebellion Pizza is a must for pizza-lovers. read more

With so many pizza places around town, choosing Rebellion Pizza was an easy "yes" after seeing the great reviews and mouthwatering photos--and it definitely lived up to the hype! I also loved that you can customize your pizza with different crust options and choose how much sauce you want, whether you prefer it light or heavy. I called to place a simple pizza order. Apparently, that's asking too much. First, I had to argue with an automated system that repeatedly tried to take my order when I clearly asked to speak with an actual person. After multiple attempts, I finally got a human being on the phone--who immediately asked me to hold. Fine. I held. Within a minute, I received a text telling me to place my order online. Then, after sitting on hold for five minutes, they simply hung up on me. Here's a thought: if you're going to operate a restaurant, hire someone to answer the phone and take an order. Customers shouldn't have to fight with a computer, repeatedly ask for a human being, get dumped on hold, receive a text telling them to order online, and then get hung up on. And frankly, your pizza isn't nearly good enough to justify making customers jump through hoops just to give you their money. I'm sure losing one customer won't keep anyone up at night, and that's fine. But there are plenty of pizza places that will actually answer the phone and gladly take my money. Hospitality was great! The inside is filled with a bunch of cool art and paintings by a local artist. Small but plenty of more seating outside if you'd like. I ordered half spicy honey pepperoni / half Inspirada & man I will definitely be going back. The flavors on these pizzas are great & the pizza wasn't greasy at all! Rebellion Pizza continues to be one of my favorite pizza spots in town. I never make it in for happy hour and was able to on my last visit. They have half off appetizers and drink specials on their happy hour menu. We ordered the garlic knots, chicken fingers with buffalo and ranch on the side, and meatballs. This spot is really chill and the staff are always friendly. They either have Star Wars on, WWE reruns, or current sport games. There's a few tables and some bar stools if you want to watch them prep. Pizzas are consistent, but definitely recommend eating in and getting it fresh hot from the oven. The spicy honey garlic knots were the highlight--A+ and served properly hot. Happy hour made them half-price, which was an excellent deal. The Caesar looked impressive and was generously dressed, although it was still a basic lettuce, cheese, and dressing salad. The Supreme pizza was good for two of us, but disappointing for Dad. We expected something closer to a meat-lover's pizza with vegetables, but it had substantially less meat than Rebellion's Meaty pizza we had previously tried. Dad also disliked the crust and the amount of toppings. Our order came out correctly and reasonably fast, but the employee taking our order seemed distracted and didn't respond when we asked for a recommendation. Seating is limited, and our table was too small for three people and all the food. Prices felt high outside the happy-hour specials. Rebellion was highly recommended to us from some friends and we were really excited to try it out. We ordered for delivery and selected the "well done" option for the pizzas which is nice to avoid them getting soggy in transit. As for the food itself it kind of was a bit disappointing compared to our high expectations. Spicy Honey Pepperoni (3/5): this was the pizza that was highly recommended to us and it was just okay. We are huge fans of spicy honey but this barely had any honey on it. Cheese pizza (2/5): I judge all New York pizza by a slice of good old fashioned cheese but this was very bland. I actually needed to add garlic and salt Meatballs (4/5): flavor was great but the meat was a bit tough. So I 100 percent love their pizza still, I just think the main thing that's lacking is a fun dessert selection, and a better non alcoholic beverage selection. Maybe some non alcoholic beers or kombucha, as all they gave is just some soda and water. I would still forgive the items they lack honestly, but the service we had tonight from our waiter was kind of terrible. The man clearly didn't like his job, the look on his face the whole time was him just wishing he could be anywhere else. It just felt like we were bothering him by being customers. In the past I've had friendly service, so I was surprised by his bad vibes. They have a trivia night every Wednesday at 7pm which is cool. It gets super slammed, and they kept the door open the whole time which made it so hot. I may try to come back when the temps drop if this is their normal protocol for trivia nights. Rebellion is truly a hidden gem. Vegas struggles to have really good pizza. There's a handful of places that are okay... but there's very few that are knocking it out of the park. Rebellion is in my opinion- the best pizza in Vegas. I'm so lucky... or not so lucky lol that they're right by my house. I try not to go too often because I'll eat too much pizza but damn does it taste good. They have friendly service, ambiance is clean and inviting and pizzas always come out hot and cooked to perfection. We got the white cheese pie (sorry, can't remember the exact name) and added ricotta and sausage to it. We also got the hot honey pepperoni pizza that has jalapeños and a sesame crust. The pizzas here are really, really good! I always get the vegan pizza but it gets very expensive when you add on extras and I do love a lot of veggies. I wasn't going to post a review, I wanted to give them a chance to make things right, but my email compplaint was ignored, so I'll do this instead. The pizza we got Monday night had a burnt crust (it actually doesn't look as bad in the photo because of the flash). The crust was inedible, unless you like the taste of charcoal. I emailed the store with my complaint, but have received no response. Maybe it was a one time mistake, but ignoring a customer complaint isn't good business. $33 for a large pizza (plus tip) might be acceptable if the pizza is really good, but clearly the quality control and customer service are lacking here. How do you let a pizza like this go out the door? There are lots of places to get pizza and we'll be trying somewhere else now. read more

First time @ Rebellion. First impression wasn't positive. It was 7:00pm when we arrived. It was two hours after happy hour ended. It looked like they might have been getting over a little rush. OK, so look obviously I can change my rating but as of right now I want to give it a three star, but I'm going to give it a four because I'm going to give it the benefit of the doubt. The thick crust I wanna call it grandma's pizza because another spot sells that his grandma's pizza. Oh my goodness it smelled of garlic. There was smashed garlic underneath the sauce and cheese garlic oil. It was just really tasty so I can only imagine it when it was hot. The other person tried the pepperoni said the pepperoni was a hint of spicy, but of deliciousness. Again, I'm gonna say it just because they were pieces that were reheated so I want to try it again and I know it's gonna hit and I know it's gonna be five stars. Oh also the four stars for now is also because of music. I love the music and the guys were really nice, and the lady that was getting the dishes from the tables was nice as well.
