Okay so we were craving pizza and we needed to find a place by our house because we are far from our usual pizza spot. We saw that Anthony's had good reviews so we decided to try them out for a lunch date. As soon as we walked in we were greeted and met with the order counter/register area. Anthony's is a small place, so if you walk in on a busy day, you might have to wait outside or stand for takeout. Luckily we walked in and it wasn't busy, so we ordered a small pepperoni pizza and a chicken parm sandwich. We shared a fountain drink and sat down to wait. The gentleman who took our order was also making our food- but we didn't have to wait too long! He was friendly beforehand also, gave us information about their menu and what to expect with the items we ordered. The food was fresh and delicious. The pizza taste really knocked it out of the park! The chicken parm was also great with fresh bread, a great chicken cutlet and all of it had a good flavor. It's definitely a place to try in town, and I do believe it's locally owned. You'll be greeted at the door, you'll be called by your name and the food is fresh! It's a must try if you're in the area, and you'll leave satisfied! I'm upset I didn't take pictures of the menu but they have a great variety! read more

The Pizza is amazing. Anthony, the owner is one of the nicest guys. This place is very clean, fast service with a smile. It tastes like the pizza back in NY for me. It has an outdoor sitting area as well. The prices are good too. I highly recommend trying this place. read more

BRONX PIZZA This place is legit! NJ native here, been to NYC a lot. This is EXACTLY what you'll get at a really good pizza joint back East. The crust was my favorite part. Perfect in every way. Anthony's Pizza and Deli in Henderson is the absolute best. Five stars, without question. If I could give ten, I would, and believe me, it deserves it. I grew up on New York pizza, I know the real thing better than anyone, and this place has it nailed. The crust is perfect -- thin, crisp, with that golden bottom you only get from people who know exactly what they're doing. The sauce is rich, flavorful, not too sweet, not too sour. And the cheese, wow, it stretches beautifully. Every bite reminds you of walking through Manhattan grabbing a slice on the go. Tremendous pizza. The atmosphere is unbelievable. You step inside and it's like you just got off Times Square and walked into a true New York pizza joint. The smell of fresh dough, pies sliding out of the oven, the sound of people laughing and chatting. It's authentic. It's real. Henderson isn't New York, but for a moment, inside Anthony's, it feels like it is. That's special. That's not something you can fake. The owner is a stand-up guy. You can tell right away. He cares about the food, he cares about the customers, he cares about doing things the right way. That's what makes the difference. He treats you like family. And the staff follows his lead. Friendly, helpful, no attitude, just solid service with pride behind it. The deli side is fantastic too. Huge sandwiches, piled high, fresh ingredients, the kind of meals that satisfy in a big way. No shortcuts, no skimping. Everything is done properly. I've tried every pizza spot in Las Vegas and Henderson. Every so-called best slice. None of them compare to Anthony's. This is the top of the mountain, the champion, the one everyone else wishes they could be. Five stars. Ten if they'd let me. Anthony's Pizza and Deli in Henderson is a total winner. I'm not writing about the food, but about an upsetting interaction with an employee. Today I parked in a very full strip mall lot next to a cherry-red classic muscle car. I was fully within my parking space, though it was tight. As I opened my rear driver-side door to get my 3.5-year-old daughter out of her car seat, the door lightly tapped the car next to me. I immediately checked and saw there was no mark or damage. Before I could finish unbuckling my child, a man wearing an Anthony's Pizza shirt rushed out and said, "You hit my car, you know," in an aggressive tone, standing very close to me. I apologized and explained that I had already checked and saw no damage, and asked him to please give me space so I could safely get my daughter out of the car. He continued holding my car door while assessing his vehicle, which made me uncomfortable and distracted me from tending to my child. He then spoke directly to my daughter, telling her to get out of the car. After she was out, he continued to be rude and condescending, telling me to "watch out for people's cars." He then addressed my daughter in a high-pitched, patronizing tone, asking if she was "okay," while staring at me. The entire interaction felt hostile, unnecessary, and inappropriate--especially involving a small child. I am a responsible person and would have absolutely left my information if there had been any damage. What stayed with me most is that two hours later, my daughter asked why that man was "so mean." That speaks volumes. This was a simple parking lot situation that did not need to escalate the way it did. A shame that this place seems to have good food, I won't be dining here. read more

Pizza night with friends who have eaten at Anthony's many times and recommended it highly. Smaller storefront restaurant. Order at the counter and they bring the food when it is ready. My friends love NY style pizza. I'm a Scicilian pizza guy myself. Unfortunately, if you want to get a Sicilian pie at dinner time, you need to order it ahead of time so they can prepare the crust and allow it to rise. I will know for the next time. Meeting Anthony at the counter was fun. He is from the same section of the Bronx as my wife. The Yankee game was on the TV when we came in. Yes, Anthony is a Yankee fan (I'm not). The four of us shared two medium pies. One was the veggie pizza and the other loaded with pepperoni, anchovies, and olives (not on the menu - made to order). Two bottles of water, one soda, tax and tip = $60 for dinner for 4. More than enough food for us (a few slices of take home for lunch the next day). Anthony came back to our table to make sure we were enjoying the pizza (and to update us on the score of the game). Good value, friendly service, and a terrific owner! read more

With my parents currently out of the country, my dad made it mandatory for me to visit my grandma at least once. So I planned a little pizza dinner/get together at her house with her and my aunt on a Sunday night, with the pizza coming from Anthony's Pizza & Deli. Back in the day, this pizza place was called Sunset Pizzeria, before they changed their name to Horizon Pizzeria, before finally becoming Anthony's Pizza & Deli. When I was younger, my family and I were very regular customers when they used to be under the Sunset Pizzeria moniker. While we don't order from them as much as we used to, we still use them for special occasions. I placed an order for pickup through DoorDash and ordered the following - one medium cheese pizza, one thing of garlic knots, and one thing of French fries. There was some confusion on their end, however, after I placed my order. Even though I placed my order pickup request for between 6:20-6:30, they thought that I had chosen 9:15 as my pickup time (they close at 9:00 on Sunday's). But they eventually figured it out and kept the 6:20-6:30 timeframe. I got there before 6:20 and my order was all packed up and ready to go. My grandma's house is about a 5 minute drive away from here, so it was hot, fresh, and ready to eat when I got there. The pizza was enough to feed the three of us, but there were so many garlic knots and fries that I had to bring both back with me as leftovers. I plan to have these and the rest of my pizza for lunch later. Anthony's knows how to make some seriously amazing food, especially their pizza. I'll definitely be back again! read more

Was craving pizza until I saw the pasta menu and switch up last minute. My daughter and I came here for dinner, the pasta came with bread and a house salad. Talk about delicious...literally drooled. The pink sauce was perfect. The pasta wasn't heavy and tasted delicious. The owner was super personable and friendly. Service was great. We sat outside on the patio because the weather was awesome. We found our new spot! read more

If you haven't had the best pizza in town, it's because you have not been to Anthony's. I've been enjoying this authentic New York style pizza since I was 15 (I'm now 42) when his restaurant served pizza at my high school. It was the only pizza my authentic East Coast dad would allow in the house. His restaurant is a throwback to feeling like you're in the neighborhood and know everyone who comes in. Cozy pizza parlor located on Horizon Ridge. My fiancé raved about this place, and how friendly the owner was. We decided to come in on a Saturday afternoon. We decided to get the lunch special which was two slices of pizza and a drink. The prices were very reasonable. They do have beer and wine as well. I had a slice of pepperoni and a slice of cheese. So, I wanted to hit up the Italian place closer to my house but it wasn't open until noon. I tried a new place to see how it was compared. Ordered the fettuccine Alfredo. It came with bread and a salad. It was criminally under seasoned. I live with an Italian and even he said it was tasteless. The portion is also, so so small. Considering it wasn't very good, I guess the portion size didn't matter. I ordered a fried zucchini and that was also...mediocre? At best? The owner seemed nice enough...I think. It was a strange interaction. There weren't any customers there. I walked in and stared at the two guys behind the counter. One was clearly the cook and the other was, who I assumed to be the owner. The owner kinda ignored me because he was texting on his phone. The cook looked at me like "uh..I'm sorry.." eventually I got some attention and picked up my food. The owner learned I'm from CA and he wanted to impose his conservative political ideology that I don't agree with, but whatever, I just don't wanted good food. Needless to say, food wasn't good, owner is..unique. The pasta and appetizer was roughly $27 bucks. I might have well just gone to Olive Garden. read more

Hard to find "real" good pizza around here. They are out ther but you have to look! Look no more, Anthony has got you! We tried the Sicilian first and got a couple cannoli's. Absolutely delicious! The woman behind the COVID screen greeted me with an attitude almost immediately. I mentioned that it was my first time visiting, but that didn't seem to matter. She started firing off questions about my order, and since I had never been there before, I wasn't familiar with the menu. I'm not sure why some restaurants expect first time customers to have everything figured out in a few minutes. Every question I asked seemed to irritate her. She barely made eye contact and acted genuinely bothered that I was there. When I asked what sauces were available, she actually sighed before answering. It's a strange feeling when you're trying to support a business and spend your money there, yet you're treated as though you're inconveniencing the staff. What made the interaction more frustrating is that there wasn't a single person behind me in line. There was no rush, no crowd, and no obvious reason for the impatience. A little courtesy and patience go a long way, especially with first-time customers. As for the food, it looked beautiful in the photos, but the flavor didn't quite match the presentation. The boneless wings were overwhelmingly salty. Easily the saltiest thing I've had in a long time. The bone-in wings, however, were flavorful and enjoyable. The fries were well prepared, and they provided a generous serving of ranch, which was appreciated. In the end, the food simply wasn't good enough to justify the attitude. Customer service matters, especially in the hospitality industry. No one is asking for staff to be overly accommodating or put on a performance, but BASIC patience, professionalism, and kindness should be expected. First-time customers will have questions, and that's part of the job. If this business wants continued support from the community, the customer experience needs as much attention as the food. DO BETTER!!!

Anthony's Pizzaria & Deli is the real deal! If you're looking for that authentic New York pizza experience, this is the spot. The moment you walk in, you're greeted like family, and the service is top-notch--fast, friendly, and no-nonsense in the best way possible. The owner is clearly passionate about what he does, and it shows in every slice. You can tell he truly cares about his craft, from the perfectly balanced sauce to the high-quality cheese that stretches just right when you take a bite. The ingredients are fresh, the flavors are bold, and the crust has that perfect crunch-to-chew ratio that so many places get wrong. Honestly, the only "flaw" is that once you've had Anthony's, it kind of ruins other pizza for you. We've tried plenty of spots, but nothing compares. Looks like Tony has been taking steroids. He has had a few other failed pizza restaurant's in Las Vegas. A testimonial to the quality of the food. Not much of a business person so I'm sure this will fail as well. His goal was always to move back to Florida (where a Speedo is considered a good fashion choice). I label his food as "I can make it better and cheaper at home". Almost all Vegas pizza restaurants have the same business model as this place. Sealing the deal, I had some expiring inKind credit that I feared I may not be able to use in time if I waited until the wife got back and Rebellion Pizza accepts inKind. I made the short drive to Rebellion Pizza and placed an order for a Sicilian-style Supreme Leader (pepperoni, sausage, bacon, red onions, bell peppers, mushrooms, garlic, EVOO, topped with red sauce) and a 16" NY-style The Stunner (vodka sauce, fresh jalapenos, cup and char pepperoni, fresh garlic, fresh basil, sesame seeded thin crust and finished with Mike's Hot Honey) for carryout. Each of Rebellion's set topping such as the Supreme Leader and the Stunner were available on each style of pizza. I was informed that it would be approximately a 45 minute wait for my order, but they'd try to get it out quicker. Good pizza is worth the wait especially when the wait isn't nearly as long as estimated. My hot-from-the-oven pizzas were ready for me in under 30 minutes and were still hot and fresh by the time I got home for their unboxing. Both pizzas were delicious, but as different as could be in terms of their crust and toppings. Based on toppings alone, I preferred the more traditional Supreme Leader over the Stunner primarily since I liked the red sauce over the still delicious vodka sauce. I do have to give kudos for Rebellion's judicious use of the Mike's Hot Honey on the Stunner, which offered a welcome, yet subtle, spicy sweet accent to the pie without becoming an overpowering note. As for the crusts, the NY-style was flavorful and foldable with the sesame seeds adding some aesthetic appeal, textural crunch, and "nuttiness". Rebellion's Sicilian was thicker than some others that I've encountered, but the flavorful focaccia-like crust was wonderfully light and airy with a pleasing chew. My order was far more pizza than I could eat by myself at a single sitting so, needless to say, I had a lot of leftovers. I'm a huge proponent of cold pizza for breakfast and both pizzas were still excellent the next morning...although they were still much more enjoyable hot and fresh. I really love Rebellion Pizza. The crusts on both of their styles of pizza are very good. I think their Sicilian crust was exceptional. Their selection of toppings is expansive offering something for virtually everyone. Say what you want about Henderson's food scene, but it definitely doesn't lack for outstanding pizza joints. I can't get enough of this Pizza? I have to be careful, not to eat the whole pie in one sitting. This Pizza beats any other on the face of this Earth! Came here with my husband on his recommendation as he'd tried the one North of town. I didn't have…read moreany expectations walking in, but if he recommended it, I was on board! The places are relatively small, with seating for maybe five or six parties. We were immediately welcomed when we walked in, and we looked at the board to see what the options were. The menu was plentiful, ranging from pizzas, cheesesteaks, sides, and desserts. There were slices of pizza on display, and we decided to get an original cheesesteak and a slice of pepperoni pizza. The wait time for the food was minimal, the pizza had a wonderfully crispy crust, and the cheesesteak was absolutely incredible. The flavors shown through in each bite, and the mouth feel between the steak, and the cheese and onions was quite pleasant. The service was incredible, the server was super welcoming, helpful as we were deciding what to order, and in checking in on us to make sure everything was good. The price was fair and absolutely worth it, and we will definitely be back!
