Rebellion Pizza is located in Anthem just east of the Wells Fargo bank and the Vons center. Rebellion is simply the best pizza in the south end of town. The crust is crispy, the cheese is gooey and the sauce is delicious. I frequent Rebellion pizza since it's close to where I live, but it beats out all the other joints along the Eastern corridor. The staff is always friendly, the pizza is always hot and delicious and the fact I can order online and go pickup is even more convenient. If you haven't tried Rebellion pizza, go! Read a lot of great reviews before going to rebellion Pizza today so I was hopeful but a little skeptical. I was extremely happy to post this review. Our server B was amazing. She even went above and beyond with a small caprese plate. Not only was that a surprise but it was awesome. Then came to Pizzaalthough it's not on the menu they made us a margarite pizza from the first bite to the last bit two of us finished off the whole Pizza. It was that good! It was lunch so the chef Sean was busy, but not too busy to answer some questions we had about other items on the menu. This guy really knows his stuff. I've had my eyes on their pies for quite a while now, but I'm a late night eater so recently I made the effort to pop over to Anthem from Black Rock Mtn. and WOW was it worth it! I love hand crafted, artisanal anything, and that approach to pizza is the best. Now I've only been twice at this point, but there's few pairing that go better together than artisanal pizza and craft beer! And speaking of bread in all its forms, the crust of their pies is the clincher for me. I'm not feeling the love for RP. On my last trip I ordered a cheese pizza, lightly cooked, in person. I paid and tipped 20% cash. 7 miles later I arrive home to find my pie was cooked full throttle, with even some black ringgage around the crust. I tried a piece but it was chew toy tough. There was also hardly any cheese or sauce. Production cost on this $20 pie must have been less than a dollar. So I called back and they made a new pie, and to their credit, did apologize for my inconvenience. I appreciated that, because by the time I had made the 14 mile round trip twice, I driven 28 miles, wasted an hour, and my brand new SUV smelled like pizza grease. Worst of all, when I finally got home, the second pie was again overcooked, though not nearly as overcooked as before, and the cheese and sauce was again in abundance only by 18th century English orphanage standards. Pizza- 12' Plant-Based Cheese with Vegan Sausage, Mushrooms, Red Onions, and Arugula This was a build my own pizza. The pizza dough was so fresh and it's truly something magical behind making a pizza in a brick oven. The pizza had a nice char on the crust and I believe that's why the vegan cheese melted so nicely. I may ask for light arugula next time since the arugula kind of took away from the other toppings. Overall, 4.5/5 stars Garlic Knots (let them know to make it vegan friendly ) They must use pizza dough for them. They were fluffy and delicious. Had a buttery taste to them and plenty of garlic. I may ask for light garlic next time because it got a little overpowering (personal preference though). Overall, 4/5 stars Service The day I went was a festival day for them, so it was takeout only. Big fan of this place! My brother recently moved to the area and this was one of his local faves, and for good reason. Great topping options, excellent beer list, and great 90s music jamming out. Bonus points for service, though. We had ordered a medium and large, with the plan to take some home for a spouse who couldn't join us. When two mediums came to the table, my brother mentioned (more thinking out loud than complaining) that the one was supposed to be a large, but he told the server it was no big deal, we'd probably have enough. To our surprise, they came to the table to let us know they'd started a new LARGE pizza that we could take home with us and they even kept it warm til we left. B (Bea?) was our server, very nice, sweet young lady. Place was small, but very clean and organized. Clearly whoever owns it is a sci fi/fantasy buff. Pizza was delicious, and they were willing to do a half and half since there was two of us. 27 for the pizza, and we took a few slices home with us. Generous 16" size. Wow what is going on with that terrible ambiance!! We were there this weekend and the music was terrible! They were playing heavy metal music and that gave us a headache! Went I went inside and talk to the crew they were very gracious and they helped !! They lowered the volume for us but when I asked if they could change the type of music they said that the owner wouldn't slow them to do that. I found that odd. My buds and I decided to try Rebellion Pizza at 2540 Anthem Village Dr, Henderson, NV 89052. There are so many positive reviews about how clean the restaurant is, friendly the employees are and the outside dining creates a great experience. I agree with those statements! What I don't agree with is how good the pizza is. I ordered the arugula salad that was supposed to come with, Fresh Baby Arugula, Burrata Cheese, Roasted Tomato, Red Onion, Focaccia Crouton, Balsamic Vinaigrette. What we got was a good portion of Arrugula, 2 small slices of red onion and tomato. Cheese was good as was the dressing. I was just surprised how little toppings it had-$14. Pizza was the Vegi 16" and was thin crust, tasty and cooked properly. But the toppings were almost non-existent. There were vegetables but they were very skimpy. We paid for vegetables, garlic and extra spinach. I just don't understand why a pizza had such a small amount of toppings for a vegetable pizza $29. Perhaps this is a style of pizza that I've never experienced. To me and my buds-great pizza needs great toppings. read more
