    Trivia on Tuesdays
    Natty C.

This is honestly a hidden gem. It's such a fun bar with old school video games, board games and pool tables. They also have shuffle board. We came for Trivia night which is every Thursday. They also have Karaoke on Friday nights. The trivia was organized and fun with a great variety of questions. They took a Polaroid photo of us and put on their wall. Will definitely be back!

Ordered: Tea-Cess (~$10): Sweet Tea Vodka, Muddled Lemons, Soda Water, and Lemonade Pool Table for 4+ people ($20/hour flat rate) Aya's take: Came here with a bunch of coworkers around 6pm and it was a blast. From the drinks to the plethora of pool tables, it's an easy environment to be social and unwind after a long week. The Tea-cess drink is basically "a spiked Arnold Palmer in a mason jar". It was light and tasty, and at $10, their cocktails are well-priced. The pool tables are by the hour but if you come with a big group, you can easily split up into multiple tables. Great spot!

The ambiance was really nice. I loved it here, and we enjoyed playing the games for hours. The game list is really nice too, they have a lot of games for different platforms. It was a bit pricey but I enjoyed the beers. Service was fast - it got busy really soon after we arrived at 6. Would definitely come early as there's only three video gaming stations.

What a great hangout spot! I've been here a couple of times with groups of friends and it was a great time. Tons of games and activities to choose from ranging in pool, shuffleboard, board games, video games and card games. They also just added a karaoke night! There's a full bar AND it's byo food. I'm pretty sure you could even have Uber eats, etc. delivered! Definitely a fun bar worth looking into !

Ask the Community - Recess Bar

    Is it kid friendly?

We are a 21+ venue at all times, but feel free to join us on your next adult's night out! Cheers!

How busy does it get on a weekend (Friday/Saturday night)? How long are typical wait times for pool tables on the weekends (Friday/Saturday night) about 9:00/9:30pm?

Weekends tend to really pick up from 8pm on. Karaoke Fridays are particularly popular. If you were looking for a gaming station or a pool table I would suggest swinging in before the crowd. Hope that helps. Have a great day!

[Blowing on my nails.] The menu is a mix of American comfort food and gastropub classics, but with flair, and has a bit of everything to satisfy different palates. Our eyes were probably bigger than our stomachs as we ordered 2 apps, 2 entrees, and 2 cocktails, and it was an enormous amount of food. The portions are definitely what you'd call hearty, and everything was very tasty. Thursdays are all day happy hour so we picked the fried calamari appetizer at the HH price (still a full and generous plate and didn't seem like a downsized version) which were tender and well-battered, as well as the hot honey wings which were meaty and substantial. The short rib parpadelle with housemade pasta and a perfectly medium-rare, well seasoned hanger steak with truffle fries completed our satisfying and belly-stuffing meal. The cocktails are serious as well - the presence of a drink with egg white is my personal litmus test for a bar that knows what it's doing, so the Thyme to Bloom special had my name on it. I'm salivating just looking at photos of dishes I didn't order, and am already plotting my return!
