Just wanted to follow up with how pleased we are with our service from Ryan Gibby with Recon pest control. As we are still in the midst of landscaping we have had moments where the ants get disturbed outside and come in or spiders appear and Ryan is always responsive and a text/call away. Most recently, yesterday, he came to spray inside in between our normal service since I've had a few too many spiders appear and ants. (I had declined indoor last time which now I know was a mistake) He even came back today with a gel bait for the new ants that appeared in our kitchen. It puts my mind at ease knowing they use products that are nontoxic and safe for pregnancy and babies but that actually work against these bugs. Highly recommend them and so appreciate being able to send a text whenever I need them to service. read more

I thought for sure I had already reviewed Recon, but it looks like I may have forgotten. Here's what I told them earlier when asked for feedback about today's visit (while I was not home): As usual, Axel goes above and beyond. Despite my instructions to spray everything out front and avoid potted plants in the back (veggies & herbs), Axel was sensible enough to figure out that all of the potted plants had been moved to the front porch to protect them from the "hurricane." Thankfully, he did not spray pesticides on my edible plants. I appreciate him taking the time to observe that things were not as they had been when I initially called for service. I have been using Recon for several years and have never been disappointed. Initially, everything went through Tyler, which was great, but as the company has grown, he has employed able employees to help him. Axel is friendly, helpful, and expedient. Sharon always promptly returns calls or texts, and supplemental services are quickly arranged as needed. For the first time today, I spoke with Carly and was equally impressed by her friendliness and sense of urgency to call Axel and ensure he had not sprayed my plants. Even for someone high-maintenance like me, they have never failed to impress me. I recommend them above any other pest service (and most other services) I have used because their customer service is exemplary. I called for service and Recon Pest sent someone right away. The contract was sent electronically and I was able to schedule for service. Axel was very patient and informative =) He took time to clean the spider webs and sprayed down the exterior of the property. He even cleaned my kids' treehouse at the top of the hill! Prior to this, I contacted other companies. One required 12 months contract before even coming to look at what I needed. Anything additional I asked for was an added fee. Other companies did not call back like they said they would, and that always leaves a bad impression with me. read more

Pro: people are very nice and friendly. Come on time and very nice. Cons: requested for flea control. After them came 4 times, I got bitten very badly after the 4th time. Now I'm left with fleas and itchy bites all over my arms and my legs. So I'll not recommend this flea control service. read more
