I ordered the liver and onions with loaded mashed potatoes and a side salad, and everything was very good. The meal was flavorful, satisfying, and well-prepared. I also ordered the peanut butter chocolate cake, and that was delicious as well. The diner itself is small, but it has a nice, classic diner feel. The service was decent, friendly, and welcoming. I ordered the chicken ranch roll up and the coconut cream pie. The roll up was ok it wasn't too spectacular or memorable but the hash browns were good - crunchy and salty. The coconut cream pie had an overwhelming amount of whip cream but I did enjoy the filling. Cute diner in Manchester with parking. A very retro vibe especially sitting at the counter. Small place so expect a little wait or to sit at counter if you can. Food was good. I was in town on Thanksgiving Eve. I was on a solo road trip. Pretty much everything in the city was closed. This place is always open. So I went. Server was very friendly. It wasn't super busy, but there were a few other patrons in there. Make sure you look at where to park, the sign is near the front door. Don't park in the lot next to the place you might get towed. Decent menu, good coffee, I had the steak tips, which were very flavorful. The hashbrowns are very good, the mac & cheese tasted like Velveeta. It was OK. We arrived at the tail end of supper on a Sunday night and the place was full... and for good reason. We were seated right away by curtious staff. The ambiance is clean, inviting and laid back with classic rock playing in the background. The menu is extensive with unique items. Our waitress (Caitlin) was excellent and kept returning to assist us. While waiting for our food there is a monitor showing famous people that visited - as well as non-famous. We all enjoyed our food (especially the chicken tenders, best I've ever had!) and even though we were stuffed, we HAD to get dessert as they have an amazing assortment. We split and enjoyed the brownie cream pie. There were two birthday announcements while we were there and the menu says to let them know when it's your first visit. We informed them so our "first visit" was announced with a guest book to sign. We also got these stickers (pictured). They sell t-shirts too so we also splurged on a couple of those as well. This place was also on Triple D with Guy and also has had many celebrities and politicians visit. You can walk around and find the pictures and the plaques of ppl who have sat at the diner. I came here while visiting NH for the Memorial Day weekend. I was looking for places to eat and came across Red Arrow Diner on my trusty Yelp app. When we arrived, there were no seating at the booths, so we were told that we had to sit at the counter. That wasn't a problem for me but the person I came with wanted to sit at the booth. Not too long after we were seated, a party left, thus making a booth available. The person I came with didn't want to place an order until we moved. Finally, after 10-15 minutes, we were moved. The server (I forgot her name, but she has long, brunette colored hair) was not friendly at all. We would've been better off staying put because the server at the counter was friendlier. Anyway, I ordered the two pancakes, two eggs and two strips of bacon with a side of potatoes. She ordered the meatloaf platter with a side salad. I got a cup of hot chocolate. We both got pies (we observed people coming into the diner just to order pies), she got the cherry, and I got the apple. The food was good the service was meh. I waited a long time to check this out and I'd say it was sort of ... results may vary? We had a hash brown meal with eggs and chicken fried steak with sausage gravy that was really good. The meatloaf was pretty good as well, and the mashed potatoes were tasty. The mac and cheese tasted like nothing, that was sad. We tried the poutine and it was pretty good (fries and curds were good) but the brown gravy was realllyyyy salty, so that made it tough to enjoy. One friend got the hash benedict, he said the sauce was good, eggs too, but said the hash tasted canned (we can't be sure of that, no idea if they make their own?) We also tried the Dinah fingers, their own Twinkies, and the cake was DELICIOUS, but the filling was cloyingly sweet liquidy frosting that ruined them. Ordered very early in the a.m. & was disappointed to see my (Real Mashed Potato's) that were supposed to come with the "Meat Loaf" dinner, were out of stock, they were replaced with, cold over cooked regular french fries, not kool @ all. Today was October 12, 2025 Around 12:20 noon. I went to Red Arrow Diner Manchester to sit down and eat by myself. The restaurant wasn't even that busy compared to other times I've been there, but I sat for almost 20 minutes without anyone coming to my table. I saw a male server walking back and forth and he never even asked me if I wanted a drink. Finally, a female server came and asked for my drink order, and I asked for a hot chocolate. I looked over the menu for a while, but my drink still wasn't brought out. It started feeling uncomfortable -- even a lady sitting nearby seemed to notice. When I finally spoke up and said, "Hello, I've been here a while and no one has helped me," the male server just said, "That's not my table, it's hers." What really bothered me was what happened next: I heard him go over to the female server, and they laughed about the situation and made comments. I even heard something like, "I was busy, she could leave if she wanted." That level of disrespect and lack of care is unacceptable. I'm very disappointed about my late night/morning experience at this "fine" establishment! When I arrived at 0210ish am for a much needed meal (as I had just had a hard night at work), there were a few people in the place that notably two were quite vocal with foul language and going "off" about personal matters that NO ONE shut up!! I ordered, got my meal, ate in utter silence & did not engage in looks or conversation with any of them...I felt the cops should have been called and/or the staff should have seen them to the door!!! I couldn't finish my food, took it to go, which I will do from now on (because the food & staff are good). So good!!! This diner is such a classic place and is super welcoming. Stopped here on the way up to Quebec and I'm so glad I did. I totally get why so many people eat here. We got there on a Friday afternoon and there wasn't a line just a small wait for the table. The diner has a ton of pictures on the walls with celebrities and all of the benches had plaques with who sat in those seats. For food I ordered the Queen Dinah and it was amazing. I've been here twice so far and it's everything I have ever wanted from a diner. Open all the time. Breakfast open all the time. Servings are huge and everything comes out fresh. The stickers are adorable and the waitresses are the gum smacking stereotype you expect in a diner. That being said every waitress I've interacted with here has been very nice. Our first time in Manchester resulted in us stumbling upon a Manchester staple. Political nominees and celebrities of all sorts stop by this diner with pictures adorning the walls of them all. The waitstaff were wonderful from the two waitresses to the busboy server and they all helped to make us feel glad to be at the Red Arrow. Many customers were regulars and proud to be coming back. As newcomers we got a bell rung for no longer being Red Arrow virgins and I got a sticker for cleaning my plate which made me proud like my 5 year old self. Very disappointed that that person was also a virgin to the red arrow diner and I told them that. Knowing of the tradition they have with devirgining new patrons.
