The Teens are taking over - it's basically night club & security acts as a bouncer! it's not family friendly & the parties are not worth the money because small children can't skate because of over crowdedness- It seems the staff/ owners enjoy the drama & the money MORE than keeping it safe & enjoyable. The public party is definitely not worth the money. You only get one hour at the table you reserve, and then you're rushed through the cake cutting. While I was still cutting slices for the kids, staff started rolling up the tablecloth and clearing the table. When I asked if I could continue serving cake to my guests, I was told they had to take the cake to the back because the party time was over and I couldn't serve it at another table. I paid for the cake, so that made no sense at all. The parties are booked way too close together, and it feels like the only priority is pushing people out as fast as possible. If the owner invested in the space, maybe there would be room to let families enjoy the time they paid for. My guests who arrived a little late didn't even get a slice of cake. On top of that, the food isn't good. Overall, the experience was disappointing. They need to do much better. read more

First skate rink I attended in Dallas. It was for an event, I'm happy we arrived early because by the end of the night, they were towing people. Nevertheless, the rink is flat not such a high gloss but good for skating. Concessions are good and at an affordable price, everyone was very friendly. It was fun but the customer service was terrible. One of the workers hispanic curly hair who gave us the roller-skates gave me and my 4 children a dirty ruthless stare, and he said and I quote "God damn y'all should stop populating". I believe this is so unprofessional and I think y'all should do something about it so other people won't deal with the same issue. Although on behalf of the other employees I have no complains. They made the skating ring a friendly, safe, and fun environment for my family and I. I'm giving this a 5 star because I had the best experience for my first time at this location! Let's see...I checked Yelp to verify the days and times for being open! Next I called the number and I was prompted to a recording which had all the information I needed! Days and times they are open and the pricing. There's no hiccups here! I arrived on a Friday night about 30 minutes after they opened! The parking lot had awesome attendants directing traffic and guiding the line to get in! I have my own skates, and here you can bring roller blades also! Cash or card for entry fee .....they have a ton of security if you drop your kids/teenagers off! Love the guy at the front desk, ...he could tell it was my first time! Great customer service and since I brought my own skates, it's a slight discount! They have lockers (be sure to bring quarters) as of now it's 50 cents! The gentleman actually took the time to show me how the lockers worked which I thought was super nice and an extra bit for the outstanding customer service! They play hip hop and r&b ...I loved it! The energy is amazing here! I was sweating so hard but oh well!!! Go DJ! If you are hungry, they have tons of food and candy! Restrooms are clean and that's a plus for such a seasoned establishment! Cool thing is that everyone is having so much fun! If you fall...people help you get up! All ages are welcome, so come and have some good clean fun! read more

My husband and I had such a wonderful roller-skating experience. We loved preforming our complex combination jumps on the smooth wood floor. The best place for friends, family, and a kid party. I have hosted three kid parties here from 2020 to now and it's the best place ever! The service is beyond comparison. They do everything for the parties. You just invite people and show up with the cake and kid! They decorate and provide invitations. The staff is AMAZING! The prices are the best and this is 2023. We attend free skating lessons some times and enjoy skating with our friends and families on Saturday's. Try this place. read more

I used to skate here at when they 1st opened. And it looks like the decor has not changed since e1974. Back then was skated to a lot of 70s rock (Queen, Beegees), then in Junior high ( yazz , and Toni Brazil)... too bad it's ghetto now and playing inappropriate music). They should have a dress and conduct code to keep the Roff Raff out. So sad. And heavy security kicking people out or denying entry if dress inappropriately. My kid enjoyed herself but can home hurt because there was a dent ing the floor and unwaxed floor that made her fall and she said that some teenager tripped her and fell on her backside and couldn't breath she had to cough to breath but now we are going to Arlington Skatium and it's wonderful there are no dents shiny floor and lots of space for lots off people. Way too many kids being dropped off and left to act like thus a@@ brats. Skates are all old and have no soles to them, hurting your feet the entire time, rules say no speed skating but all of em are doing it , knocking people to the floor left and right. A lot of trash on the floor causing fall hazards. One security lady is not enough.... time to enforce the rules and really need to count how many people you let in at a time, very crowded. I use to really like this place. I will never forget how they tried to steal my kids Jordan's. I had 3 kids with Jordan's and come time to pick up shoes they said they didnt have them. I got upset they even called the police on me. All for what to make a long story short they came up with all 3 Jordan's. This place was known for stealing shoes when u let them keep them. I think it's sweet that most people are giving this skating ring the benefit of the dought, but this rink sucks. I visited this location on a Saturday afternoon, and I felt like I had just walked into Buttons on a late Saturday Night. I wish they would put up a sign that says Adults Only or 21+ I took my daughter and her classmates here for a birth day party and I was so embarrassed at how ghetto the people walking around were. 1. The DJ had to frequently stop the music to remind the adults that there was no food allowed beyond the concession area. 2. There were to many people crowded into the small concession area because they had over booked on birth day parties, and it was extremely over crowded. 3. I could not believe how many grown women were walking around in cut off shirts and tights and it was (according to the manager) children's hour. 4. I literally had to argue with the guy handing out the skates over one of the girls shoe sizes, he insisted on giving her a boys skate that was a still too small. I didn't understand why he didn't want to give her a girls skate. I assumed since the place was so crowded, that they had run out of girls skates. 5. The kids had to frequently speed skate around all the Adults not wearing skates walking there babies around the skating rink. At one point I my daughter side swiped a lady walking her little son and the lady got upset! OMG all I kept thinking was lord don't let me have to fight any body today! 6. I gave this skating rink a 2 because the DJ was decent, he defiantly played the EXPLICIT versions of all the latest songs, and I could totally see myself returning here with my 25-30yr old friends for a girls night out. This was the place to go. Just about every kid, I knew or in my class had a party there. I was there every weekend in my jr. high years. The lockin and flashlight skates rocked! The jumbo size pickles and the pickle pops were the thing to get. It has a nice size rink. Not to big or small. You could still skate around at good pace and not run into anyone, unless they moved in front of you. haha This place holds so many memories. It's been years, since I was there last.. Hate this place. After planning a party for the last three months, I show up today and I've been told that I am not on their list of private parties. Even though we confirmed with the manager the night before. I come in 30 minutes before the party and they supposedly don't have me on the list. I couldn't believe it. I had all my guests waiting and I spoke with a manager and he says that he booked another party and "too bad." Hate this place, I don't recommend this place at all. Even after talking to the other lady hosting the party there she said it was okay to stay and use her tables and their very inexperienced staff TOLD us to leave the premises. My sister and I were wanting to go out together, and we thought this "family friendly" skating rink would be harmless fun on a Saturday night. So we blindly walked in, and immediately were shocked by the amount of people. First thing when you walk in there are people walking around bumping into you, while the music is blaring extremely loudly.(90% of the music is explicit rap) We get our skates and attempt to get onto the skate floor, then try to dodge all of the people speeding past us while the speakers pump filthy music into our ears. A couple of Mexican girls wearing skimpy clothes were on the skate floor moving their hips erotically, and bouncing their butts to the music. Meanwhile young boys in groups blocking parts of the floor would dance also. After a few minutes of seeing this display we'd realized we'd had enough. What's sad is there were little ones around, and I was amazed they are allowed to run an establishment like this. This is not a Skating Rink, this is a club. I wont completely bash this skating rink because I used to visit it as a teenager and I was cordially invited there to celebrate a birthday.So, first I want to point out the ladies at the front desk are the ONLY reason I will give this establishment 2 stars, they were very personable and customer focused BUT my experience just completely goes downhill from there...I dont know about capacity limits but the place was completely overcrowded. The young gentlemen that are assigned to hand out the skates are R U D E....one attempted to give me a pair of kids skates with a quarter size hole in it and the other just slammed my skates down and walked off without even explaining to me that the adult sizes are in men's, then he came back and tried to take my kids skates(without the holes) before I even had a chance to remove it from the counter.
