Initially I had only planned to rent a rustic arch and pedestals; however, by the wedding date they had supplied rustic dining chairs, wedding chairs, rustic arch, pedestals, wooden tables and all of the gorgeous flower arrangements for the entire event. We started planning our wedding in the fall of 2019 and due to the pandemic, could not celebrate until the summer of 2021. Through staff changes, venue rule changes, and the ongoing ups and downs associated with the pandemic, the Red Carpet team was right by our side, every step of the way. From the beginning we felt their professionalism and dedication to trying their very best to execute our vision for our multiple days of events. Lake Tahoe rustic and Indian wedding aren't usually themes that go together, but the RC team created a gorgeous storyboard for us after our first couple phone calls that served as the guiding force behind everything we subsequently created together. From regular phone calls and emails, to meeting us at our venue's tasting event with examples of our centerpieces and linens....the RC team went above and beyond to help us feel held during what was an amazingly stressful time in our lives given wedding planning plus the uncertainty of everything on a week to week basis. Designing your wedding is not as easy as it sounds. There are a lot of little details that can easily be missed. We had Red Carpet Designs do all of the flowers for our wedding. Everything was done over the phone and email, which honestly worried me a little, but in the end it all worked out. When I was asked what I wanted our wedding to look like, I didn't know that answer. I knew what I DIDN'T want it to look like. After talking with Emily, she coined it as Classic Romantic with hints of Blush Pink - perfect! I also knew I didn't want tall center pieces, as I wanted all of our guests to be able to see across the table. Emily sent pictures of ideas and requested I make a share board/album of the things I like. With this Emily was able to get what I liked and was able to design around it. About two months before the wedding the venue got a circle arch, which was something I needed to have. I contacted Emily and requested flowers be on the circle arch. Emily was more than accommodating to any additions/changes I made. I also requested to see a mock-up of the centerpieces as I was getting anxious, they were not going to be big enough for the tables. I was informed they do not do mock-ups, but was reassured with the votive candles the centerpieces would be proportional to the table setting. The morning of our wedding Morgan showed up to my Villa and delivered my bouquet, boutonnieres and a flower hair piece. I was in love with my bouquet; it was exactly what I wanted, ivory, soft pinks and peonies!! If the Circle Arch and reception room flowers looked anything like my bouquet, I knew I would love all of it!! Red Carpet Designs hit it out of the park! Myself and two friends recently embarked on a fundraising endeavor for a local nonprofit. We had grand ideas about how the formal affair would look, with red carpets, elegant music playing as guests were to enter and beautiful window coverings to enhance the dim lighting we desired. We had a last minute changes in our wedding reception (this happened a week before our wedding). I wanted to add a back ground design behind the sweetheart table. After looking at several designs, I have asked our wedding coordinator if she could refer us to any rental places in SLT. She only gave us two, the first one was not available. So I contacted this place and got a response and few quotes right away. Staff were great and easy to work with. They suggested that we should just add a ceiling swag as suppose to background wall draft. So we went ahead and hired them. They came in a day early to setup the ceiling swag with lights. Absolutely love, love, love RCED!! The team was responsive, friendly, creative and flexible. When I first approached them, I knew the theme and colors I wanted. I provided them with pictures of things I liked and they came up with a storyboard for our wedding. I wasn't sure of what our budget was at the time and because I didn't want to miss out on potential opportunities to have everything we wanted, I asked them to draft up a proposal consisting all of the elements we liked. They came back with it and I was beyond surprised at what we were quoted. Before tonight I never had a Yelp account, but after seeing the response Red Carpet Events wrote to Melissa, my fiancé, I was irritated enough to sign-up and write my first review. On May 7th, I wrote an e-mail to Camelot Party Rentals and Red a Carpet Events to set up appointments for Wednesday, May 13th, in the afternoon. Karen from Red a Carpet Events responded the next day and said Amy would follow up to set up an appointment. I am still waiting for that response from Amy. Off to a bad start, but people get busy, I get it... Fast forward to Wednesday, we had an appointment at Camelot at 2pm. We spent about 20-30 minutes at our meeting with Camelot and decided to drop by Red Carpet Events since we were in the neighborhood and had not yet heard from Amy. We got to Red Carpet around 2:30pm, no where near the end of the business day as you claimed. We waited for Sarah to finish up a phone call and she sat down with us at the conference table. It started off very well. She offered us water or coffee, she apologized for a wilted floral arrangement on the table and got the paperwork ready. We told Sarah about the decor we were looking for and where our wedding venue is going to be. She said they had issues with getting their equipment into the wedding venue and before she "spent the time to give us a quote, we needed to contact the venue." I couldn't believe she said that, but we e-mailed the wedding venue that very moment anyway. We left shortly after extremely disappointed with the whole encounter. I was just going to going to chalk it up as a crappy experience and find another company to help with our wedding decor. But, when I saw your response, I was livid. You blatantly lied about our interaction and I have the e-mails to validate my side of the story. Maybe Sarah and the other two girls in the office were not truthful about what happened last Wednesday or you flat out lied. Either way, the integrity of your business is unacceptable. If you would lie about something as small as this, where does the dishonesty end? Do you rip your customers off with prices on your products and labor? Do you take shortcuts when setting up your decorations? Is the quality of your decor as advertised or is it a cheap knock-off? In my opinion, the backbone of a good business is integrity and right behind that, good employees; you have neither. I'm a manager at a large business in town. We have 320 employees and we have over 10,000 members of the community visit our store on a daily basis. I will not recommend your services and I will make sure to share my experience with everyone who inquires about wedding and event decor. For your sake and the sake of your business, I hope you find the moral fiber your customers deserve. read more

Unfortunately, I have to agree with another reviewer that said horrible customer service and bad business practices. My wedding flowers and decorations were done by Red Carpet Events. The person who I was working with left the company to start her own business, and from there everything went downhill. I had 3 other contacts I was working with and none of them really was focused on my wedding in particular. I had issues with details that would constantly change or be missing on my invoice. Every time I was sent something from them I had to go through it in extensive detail to then report back what was missing or incorrect. The owner Karen wasn't very friendly either. I still however had high hopes that they would come through on my wedding day. They didn't. The bouquets were wilting, including mine, and did not look like the pictures I had provided. Mine was just about the same size as my bridesmaids. The centerpieces they took upon themselves to add items that they must have thought looked nice, but for me, it was not what I asked for. They used LED floating candles that were very fake looking. I specifically chose floating arrangements because they were allowed to be real candles. There were similar candles used around the room on a box with gold fabric, and the fabric was completely wrinkled. I can't imagine being that person that looked at it, knew it was wrinkled, and still put it there. Brides beware! If I have one vendor regret, this is it. read more

We used Red Carpet Events for our October 2014 wedding at the Hyatt Regency in Incline Village. We rented an arch, lit up birch trees, patio furniture, bistro lighting, up lighting, ceiling "swag" and ceiling lighting from their business. My communication with Red Carpet was entirely with Kaitlyn through email. She was great at getting back to me, however she didn't do a great job of reassuring me of her understanding of what I wanted and was expecting. I would explain my expectations, and attach pictures from similar events and she would respond by assuring me that everything was going to be "perfect". I would have preferred her to reiterate her understanding of what I was expecting instead of saying it was going to be beautiful or perfect. It just made me nervous! We needed the company to set up at a certain time because the florist needed to decorate the alter arch we had reserved. Kaitlyn assured us that the arch would be set up by noon, however, it wasn't delivered until about 1:30 and it took awhile to set up. The florist was still decorating the arch when guests began arriving for our 3pm ceremony, which wasn't exactly ideal. Although we weren't thrilled by the vague email responses and their tardiness, we were beyond happy with how beautiful the decor turned out; especially the reception space with gorgeous lighting and ceiling styling. The outdoor furniture we rented was also a huge hit and allowed seating for our guests to sit outside and enjoy the lake views. read more
