Absolutely did not disappoint! Eric, Zack, and Yale were our 3-man crew and they were excellent. All three listened to our concerns and considerations, were quite considerate of belongings, and were both professional and also fun. These weren't 3 guys miserable doing a physically demanding job, they made it fun for themselves and for us without compromising their safety or our items. From a company standpoint, Eric reached out in advance to inform us when they were headed our way and a tracking link was sent to keep an eye on how close they were. I noticed it was off the expected path and stopped for a few minutes. Shortly thereafter Rob called and let us know thay the truck had an issue and we would have a short delay, but that they would be swapping trucks and head our way. A slight delay, but the clear communication was nice. We had a tough corner with stairs right at our front door which they negotiated smoothly and safely. When we got to our new home, we didnt have a great plan for where we wanted everything. They offered some feedback and considerations about possible layouts, which we heeded. After spending some time in those rooms and areas, they clearly know what they are talking about! With any luck, we won't be moving any time soon. But if we are gonna move, I would definitely call Red Carpet, and if possible I would ask for this specific crew again. read more

We hired Red Carpet Moving to move our larger furniture from a 2400 SF home (two story) to our new single story home. They estimated a four man two truck crew and approximately three hours. The crew was very communicative about their arrival time - very professional - and were totally prepared. We have moved more than a dozen times and this company was exceptional. We moved last week. Three key things were missing. One was a brand new in the box Food Processor. The receipt was attached to it. Never made it across town. 2 key boxes one was my whole nightstand! Second was my dresser with all my workout gear, socks and underwear! I called. The answer I was given was to me unacceptable! " We don't have a problem with stealing" I wasn't accusing anyone. The movers Jeff and Richard were good. Five stars. BUT the Scheduling sucked. First, we were told that delivery would be between 9AM and 1PM. Hubby asked if we could have the afternoon window instead because "mornings are really hard on my wife." Nope. The Scheduler didn't care. She couldn't have cared less. Red Carpet Moving apparently has no flexibility whatsoever in scheduling deliveries. We're at the south end of the valley so the morning window is it. They do the north end of the valley in the afternoons and the south end in the mornings with no flexibility offered as customer service. None, nada, zip. So hubby agreed because he didn't have a choice. Just days later, the Scheduler called to inform him that the delivery would actually be at 8:30 AM. Hubby had no choice but to agree; then he had to break the news to me that I'd have to get up hours early, and to an alarm clock. (I am sick in the mornings. Every morning. All morning long unless allowed to sleep until I wake up naturally.) That telephone conversation was followed by an email asking us to confirm that the delivery time was between 8:00 AM and 12:00 noon -- half an hour earlier than the Scheduler had told my husband telephonically. It was after 8:34 when Jeff called to say they'd be here in 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. Jeff and Richard had clean hands, wore gloves and booties and are amazingly strong. They were polite. They were here only about 10 minutes and that included hauling away a 300 pound mattress. Five stars all the way for delivery service. But the company's lack of flexibility in scheduling is only one star, so it's a matter of simple math: One + five = six. Six divided by two areas of service = an overall rating of three. read more

Besides the amount of scuffs and marks all over my walls from Them moving and putting things in incorrect places, this is the absolute icing on the cake. When they moved my mini fridge I asked them to make sure it was empty before they moved it. Few weeks later I check in to move it in its prope place , and open and mold comes pouring out. To the point where I started gagging. I had no idea they left things in there as they had packed my loft up and things were in front of it. My loft and carpet currently reek of mold. Jon's crew was amazing with our recent complicated move. Amy and Jorden and the logistics crew had multiple stops and an art crating firm lined up for us and were amazingly accommodating when we needed to change dates with a week's notice. The day of the first stop on the move, Chevy and Matt picked up some furniture from Henderson, then drove to Felton, CA and handled the second stop the next day (a rush trip to avoid horrible rains in that part of California). They handled the steep driveway and stairs with grace and skill, pulling out of the driveway just before another downpour. The next day they took care of the Art stop, followed by two days of nasty weather driving, getting stuck in Tehachapi due to snow, they really went above and beyond for us. Final day and moving in back in Henderson Matt and Chevy continued their hard work, carefully handling each piece and unloading the truck efficiently. Each piece of art was skillfully uncrated and carried in to the house, furniture placed and boxes delivered. The guys kept a great attitude the whole time, even when faced with an unexpected irate neighbor. Everything was cleaned up and the truck pulled away with everything in order. If I was starting a moving company, I'd want to hire these guys! If you're contemplating a move, you won't be disappointed with Red Carpet! read more
