I was super stoked that there's a new crawfish joint in Arlington. Based off the reviews I was looking forward to eating the crawfish. However my family and I were super disappointed with it. We opened the bag and the crawfish looks enticing and it smelt good, but upon eating it the crawfish tasted frozen. My mother called out there to ask them about it and they guaranteed us it was all fresh and didn't do anything about it. My family eat crawfish religiously at least two to three times a week, so we are pretty sure we know what fresh taste like. They currently have the "buy two lb get one lb free" special and that's what we opted to do. Honestly my family started joking around saying "buy two fresh lb and get one lb frozen free." We ended up only eating twenty crawfish out of the six pounds that we ordered. I am giving it two stars for their interior design and the friendly staff that are there. Maybe we just came at the wrong time and the fact that it's the end of crawfish season. So maybe my family and I will give it another shot later on. read more

Note I love love seafood! So I herd Arlington got this new seafood spot. I went to Red Claw for the first time yesterday and the food was ok. I got one of the buckets ($50) and ended up getting Ciguatera Poisoning. I noticed. The crab seemed a little off as far a texture. I figured it seemed a little old, as in not fresh, but I ignored it. Later on that day I started feeling fatigue and nauseous. Not sure if this was like a bad batch, but my throat is on fire right now. Worst experience ever. I never knew such existed. This place was very delicious. The seasoning was great but I would ask that they add double seasoning so it marinates a little bit more. The shrimp and king crab legs were AMAZING! They provide all the supplies you need before you begin to eat. The wait isn't long compared to other places in the metroplex and same great service. I recommend wearing comfortable clothes and something that isn't white in case sauce goes flying! Will be going there again soon! read more

I'm not sure I understand why they have 4 stars here. The staff members very greatly in their ability to provide good customer service. The food is seasoned and flavorful same as every other place like this in Arlington. The crawfish were previously frozen and sold as LIVE crawfish. So when the were cooked the meat was dry and falling apart. You couldn't pull the tail meat out of the shell normally. They were basically inedible. There is not lobster on the menu just a heads up. The drinks were made by "recipe" and you couldn't taste any alcohol at all. For 11-12$ a drink. It's unusual. I don't expect the Jamaican gates 10$ mugs. But something close would be good. read more

We had Bucket #5 which included crawfish, shrimp, snow crab, sausage, corn and potatoes. Had the RC sauce with medium spice level. It was delicious!!!!! Server was nice and we didn't have to wait long for our food. I do recommend going in and putting your name down and running some errands if there's a long wait, or at least getting there when you're not starving so you don't feel like the wait is longer than it really is. We came about a month ago and the wait was 2+ hours so we ended leaving. There are a couple of things that I wish this place had, lemons (server said they only had limes), better gloves because the sauce somehow still made it through the gloves and ended up all over my fingers, and towelettes or wet wipes to clean my hands after. Went here for dinner last night for the first time in a couple years. Food was still delicious, but service didn't exist. My order was taken at the bar, and I exercised the pre-tipping option when I paid. After my food was dropped off at the table (no shell crackers, bibs, etc.), not a single person ever came by again. This is my favorite place to get crawfish in Arlington! The RC kick is the best and all of the flavors hit the spot. i have been here multiple times and every visit has been great. All of the crawfish that we have ordered is fresh and huge! I have gotten multiple appetizers and sides and all of them have been so yummy. The oysters are HUGE and fresh. I also love how they have a hand washing station that is super convenient after eating loads of seafood. Make sure to check in to get a free fountain drink! The first time i went about a yr ago was during crawfish season and it said their crawfish was fresh but it was frozen and they were charging for market price and the flavor was horrible just really oily. And I went yesterday hoping it would be better but nope much worse still frozen crawfish and horrible flavor still paid market price and my stomach was hurting so so bad and I have a tummy ache today bc if it. we paid about 95$ for disgusting food such a waste of money. The food was amazing and will probably be my go to spot for seafood when I'm in the Arlington area. I tried the chicken basket and added 4 fried shrimp. I wish I would've gotten just the shrimp basket because they were prepared perfectly. Now, don't get me wrong the chicken strips were amazing also and the sauce that comes with them tasted great. I spent $80 for basically beef stock in a bag, no seasoning what so ever. No sauce just juice basically water. They didn't have lemons just limes. I've been to sooo many crab spots but this was so disappointing. I left a pound of shrimp and crab on the table because it just wasn't even worth eating. Please don't say you offer sauce when you serve brown water at the bottom of a bag. I ordered the #3 with the combo sauce. The drinks were good. Today we decided to try out this crawfish/seafood spot. From what the reviews showed it was a mix of super awesome and not so good. We tried to come by last Friday night and it was an hour and a half wait. We have a 3yr old so that was out of the question. They are located in a shopping center so there is plenty of parking available. The restaurant itself is not too big so I now see why it can quickly become a wait when coming on the weekend. The had bucket #9. The crawfish was small and a tad over cooked but had flavor. The shrimp was decent. The crab was also over cooked. The food did have flavor overall but the seasoning is oily and as someone else stated. It stays at the bottom of the bag. I myself prefer the seasoning that stays stuck to the seafood and crawfish with all the garlic bits. But just my preference. Our server M.J. was awesome. read more
