Service is excellent. I usually go in the evenings 6:30-8pm, any day of the week. Even weekends. They do have a lot of customers but they never ever take long to sit us down. We are seated usually within 10 minutes from arriving. Line, paying and seated. I keep going there because not only is their seafood boil great and delicious but they have really good options that are very very (I have a 1, 3 & a 9 year old) kid friendly. Their servers are very friendly and prompt, they make sure to come around in case You need a refill. It hurts me to give three stars because the Cajun flavor and medium spice in the Red Claws Bucket #3 (2 snow crab clusters, a lb of headless shrimp, corn, potatoes, and sausage) was so flavorful and buttery and spicy. Yet, the reason I only gave three stars is because three quarters of the shrimp were not clean! (See picture below) We had to ask for forks to clean them ourselves. Huge crab guy, wasn't sure what to expect, looked up reviews and decided to try. Ordered 1 lb king crab (medium Cajun seasoning) and the fried shrimp basket with Cajun fries. The King Crab was the best I've ever had. The claws and legs were huge, the meat was so easy to get out, and the legs were loaded with meat. The fried shrimp was okay, had better, but I will definitely be coming back for that crab. It is extremely worth it to spend more on the king crab. A man probably needs 2 lbs to be full, 1 lb just makes you want more. The meat coming out of the legs were very long and thick, didn't have to struggle getting anything out. First off, I went here during off season so of course the crawfish was not as good as it should have been. It was obvious that it was frozen and not fresh, but however, I do like that they labeled their crawfish as frozen on their pricing board. We got the RC-medium and extra spicy crawfish. The medium still had a kick to it, but without the pain. The extra spicy was spicy, but still bearable for those that love spicy. The flavoring was good, and even though the crawfish was not fresh, I still enjoyed my meal. I just had to drown it in the sauce! We asked for RC sauce on the side, it makes great dipping for the fries too. We also go the parmesan cajun fries AND OMG! They are probably the best fries I have ever had. It is a must if you're a potato lover like me! We also ordered the corn nuggets, which were nice and crispy. Overall, food wise, such a great place for cajun food in Arlington! I would also like to acknowledge how great our waiter was. We came in at 8:40PM on a Wednesday night, when they closed at 9:30. The staff still seated us and the food came out quickly as well. You know it's a good crawfish place when you smell the butter and garlic as soon as you walk in. We arrived around 12PM on Saturday and got seated right away. I thought it was neat that they had a flag at the table so when you need service you can raise the flag. My fiancé and I got the RC kick and X Hot #4 bucket with the shrimp, crawfish, clams, sausage, corn and potatoes with a side of parmesan cajun fries. Our parmesan cajun fries came out fresh and tasty. As for our seafood bucket, you can taste the butter and garlic but no so much the lemon pepper, overall the flavor was good. So I was recommended to this place by a friend who works at another crawfish place. I was told that if I were in Texas and wanted crawfish, I should go to a Vietnamese joint. The restaurant was set up like a seafood bar, similar to what you would see at any crab shacks. We ordered 5 pounds of crawfish with sausages, corn and one pound of snow crab for $85. I would say it was a rather fair price, not expensive and not cheap. The crawfish were great, tasted super fresh and they were of decent size. The sauce was super spicy, luckily I didn't go too crazy with it and stuck with medium spice. I didn't actually get to the snow crab since I was so full but it looked huge and fresh as well. First time I got a message that the line was busy (totally understandable), but when I tried again a few minutes later, I got a pre-recorded message telling potential customers that if they wanted to make a to-go or carry-out order, they had drive all way out to the physical location of the restaurant and order there. No calling in an order for pickup, and you can't even get ahold of an actual human to answer a few questions before you just blindly head over there. Like an idiot, I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and went all the way out to the actual place. Turns out they were only letting two people inside at a time, meaning you had to wait outside for your turn to be let inside to order, then go back outside to wait for them to make the order. Not REMOTELY acceptable. I understand it's not the fault of any restaurant that the government has forced the closure of dining rooms, but the level of inconsiderate and downright irresponsible audacity in refusing to accept call-in orders or even bother answering your phone is staggering. Yeah this place is better than Mr Crab in terms of seafood quality and how well they boil the seafood. By far my fav combo is still their king crab and shrimp combo. I think RC is overall the best in my book for boils in the Arlington area and has the best king crab combo for price to quality and quantity. Most of the shrimps didn't have the poop so you didn't need to devein most of the shrimp. This made the process a lot easier and the already tedious work of eating boil a lot more enjoyable. Got it xxxxxxxhot this time and though the seasoning sauce on the bottom wasn't that spicy the oil was so potent and unexpected it made me cough for like 3 mins nonstop, was so good!!!! Good thing I got to go otherwise would have scared all customers away. If anything maybe a little spicier next time. However, I was disappointed with my overall experience. I always compare these types of restaurants to my favorite restaurant The Boiling Crab in Dallas. The only similar restaurant that has come close to the BC in Dallas is The Boiling King Crab in Arlington off Arkansas. I ordered 3lbs of crawfish RC Hot. The seasoning was all the way at the bottom. I like my seasoning to be on each and every crawfish. Unfortunately, that was not the case. I didn't get to the seasoning until the very end. The size was okay. I also ordered 6 Lemon Pepper chicken wings, which were very greasy. At the bottom of the basket you could see the grease. My mom had to pat some of the grease off her wing before eating it. My mother ordered the Garlic Noodles. She said they were good. If you like garlic you might like these. They were very garlicky. She also ordered 1 piece of catfish, which was small in size. She also ordered the Oyster Basket, which our server did forget, but worked out in our favor. It was one less item we didn't need and didn't have to pay for . My sister had the Shrimp Basket. She said, it was good. I gave this place 2 stars, because wasn't impressed and won't be back. This last visit my bf & I ordered the bucket that included shrimp (headless), crawfish, and crab legs w Kick/Medium It was bomb. We cleaned the bag out! The service for the to go line was fast and great. I didnt have to wait very long. However, I was disappointed in my food, it was just ok.
