    53. Spicy Noodles

This restaurant is my guilty pleasure. Anytime I'm on a trip in Flagstaff I make sure to dine at this restaurant. I discovered it when I was fully vegan and I continue to go back even though I'm no longer a fully plant based vegan. I have only tried the spicy noodles because it's one of my favorite dishes of all time. I can't explain how amazing it is and I've even tried to re-create it at home and I don't even come close. It's truly magical!

The new Red Curry is fantastic!! The sushi is incredible and exactly what we have been looking for with vegan sushi. The owners are super friendly, and it's nice having another choice when we want to go out.

Now I don't eat a lot of vegan food BUT this was soooo good. Tofu Pad Thai Khao Soi with potatoes Fried Tofu Tofu Larb Salad Above medium heat for spice level. Not a single dish or bite that was not delish. Now yes it was busy and the server was all alone as they have been looking for service staff. But I did not deduct any stars for that. She ran around and still checked in with us and yes, was it a bit longer than it should have been if fully staffed in a Sat Night? Yes. But, we came here for the food not the service. And the service was fine. Will be back when back up here.

    Lemongrass curry with black beans.

Easy to find. Parking easy to find. Looks like a typical Asian restaurant. Lots of little tables. It was empty, so we were told to seat ourselves. I got the Lemongrass Curry with black beans. When I saw the pile of veggies on my plate I was already in heaven. Then I tasted it and knew I was going to love it. I got it mild and it had a nice zing. Hubs got the Green Curry with Tofu. It was delicious too. Great flavor and that coconut milk flavor one wants. He got a number 4 on their five scale of heat and I could almost have eaten it. He would have liked it hotter. He asked the server how hot was Thai hot and with a grin she said "10." He wished he had gone ahead and tried that. My only ding is it came with a side salad. It was pitiful in amount and content. Half as much as a side salad should be. Full of the flavorless crunchy ribs not leaves. Super sweet watery dressing. I didn't take a photo, because it was so sad. After getting that I was concerned what would come next. Then out came the curries and all disappointment abated quickly. SO GOOD!

We ordered the appetizer sampler platter, pad Thai, pineapple fried rice, pad see ew, and the pad woon sen. The appetizers were yummy! Loved the clever samosa wonton. The pad woon sen was my favorite -- the thin noodles were such a yummy texture. We loved the pad Thai as well. I felt the pineapple fried rice was a bit soft textured, I usually prefer my fried rice to be a bit on the dryer side-- but others in my party felt it was their favorite dish!! The pad see ew was okay-- there were groups of flat noodles that were still stuck together, and I wasn't the biggest fan of the flavor. The restaurant has beautiful chandeliers but it was a bit warm-- one of our party had to step outside to cool down. Service was incredible and helped us find dishes we would love when we were indecisive-- thank you!!

Red Curry is our go-to when we need a solid meal in Flag. I haven't been here since pre-covid, and I think they've made some great improvements! For this recent visit, we ordered the fresh rolls to start, hoping to find my white whale = the perfect peanut sauce. Nope. They were fine, but I'd rather they have tofu instead of avocado. The entrees came with a nice small salad. Again - just fine. The dressing had a solid ginger hint to it. My husband got the yellow curry with tofu. It was made mild for him, and he enjoyed the light flavor and fresh veggies. I decided to experiment and try something I hadn't had ever before: Kow Sol. I've actually never seen it on a menu before, but the description included my favorite things - curry, rice noodles, ginger and crunch noodles. The dish blew my mind. It had a heavy ginger base flavor, and was perfectly heated (I ordered it hot). It wasn't "hot" in my book - it was exactly what I want in heat - enough to make my mouth sing without making my gut cry. Happily, I had left over enough for two more meals, and it just got better over time. Service was great - prompt, friendly and accurate. And lots of water for the heat! I probably won't drive back to Flag just to eat here, given the nightmare that is I-17, but I doubt I'd be able to visit without stopping again for the Kow Sol.

Fresh and delicious vegan Thai every single time! The Tom Ka soup was as beautiful and scrumptious as this salad!

    Coconut soup and pumpkin seeds

Lunch - had the eggplant with basil, veggies, brown rice and black beans. Also had the Coconut soup which was loaded with vegetables, cabbage, carrots and shiitake mushrooms, and a side of roasted pumpkin seeds. Spice levels were appropriate and both were thoroughly delicious Looking forward to trying more of their dishes, definitely Thai food without the meat

All vegan eatery. Hard to decide what to order because everything looks good. Very friendly service. They were out of a few things but that is to be expected. The appetizers were amazing. Fried tofu. Summer rolls. Vegan sushi. I could eat it all, all day! I ordered the vegan orange chicken but they were out of the chicken substitute so I went with fried tofu instead. It was delicious!

This place is so underrated. We went in at 8 o clock and they still provided full service to us! So many options for vegans it's like heaven. Everything was so tasty too. The ambiance is a little run down but the art work is nice to look at and is on sale too. I can't complain when it comes to the food though!

Ending my Flag trip here was the move. After a few questionable service moments elsewhere, this…read morespot brought everything back to center from A-Z. Front of house was warm, attentive, and completely on it, the kind of hospitality that sets the tone right away. Food came out quickly without feeling rushed, and every plate delivered exactly what I was hoping for. The steak was cooked perfectly (chef's kiss), and the chimichurri had that bright balance. The prosciutto in the Savory Croissant Waffle was a star. Also, shoutout to a place that can genuinely do both coffee and food well. That's rarer than it should be. I'd happily come back just to sit with a latte and a chocolate croissant. Elite-worthy stop, no question.

Great customer service that shined through the minute I walked in. Immediately greeted at the…read moreregister and asked how I was doing. We opted for a hot vanilla oatmilk latte and a Matcha Americano. We got both of these to go. The vanilla latte didn't have any sweetener or vanilla in it. I'm not sure if they maybe put a little bit but nothing really pulled through. The coffee itself was extremely strong, which is not a bad thing considering we were on our truck back home so it's a good thing to stay awake. The ceremonial Matcha was very light in the Americano. I'm not sure what their measurement is, but it could have used another half a teaspoon, at least. The patio is dog friendly and there was a pup out there already at 8:30 AM on a Saturday. Inside, they have beautiful hanging plants and ample room if you're coming here to study or to catch up with some friends.
