I arrived around 12:30 p.m. on a Saturday and stood in the lobby for about five minutes before walking to the back to see if the restaurant was open. A very nice lady came out, seated me, and offered water -- a bottled one that turned out to be $2. I ordered sesame chicken, spring rolls, and added fried rice for $3.50. Six spring rolls arrived, which was far more than expected, and unfortunately, they were disappointing -- crispy wrappers but mushy, flavorless filling that tasted only of grease. The sesame chicken looked decent at first -- crispy batter -- but the sauce poured over it had turned thick and gluey, ruining the texture. It was hard to find much actual chicken under all the breading. The four pieces of broccoli on the plate were cold and barely cooked. The fried rice looked good, but the taste and smell were overwhelmingly like propane or natural gas -- it completely ruined my appetite. On top of that, I was served hot tea I hadn't asked for, and it was so hot I couldn't even drink it. In the end, my bill came to $36 (including a $6 tip) for bottled water, sesame chicken, spring rolls, and tea I didn't want. The woman running the place was very kind, and I truly feel for her, but unfortunately, the food was poor and the prices far too high. I ate at famous BBQ places in the past 2 days and my dinner came to under $36 not including the UBER there and back.
