We had a mix of steaks and sushi. The steaks were cooked to order, good portions and tasty. The sushi pieces were nice sizes and fresh both in Nigiri and sashimi. The rolls that were ordered were on the skimpier side, not in taste of physical size, but in the mount of seafood used. The bartender was busy and the wait staff tried to be attentive, but they may have been a little understaffed. Our server was fantastic putting on a fantastic display at the grill while keeping the children in our group glued to the food preparation show. All hibachi meals ( filet and shrimp, scallops and lobster and chicken and shrimp) were excellently prepared with generous portions, The restaurant is modestly decorated. I visited this restaurant during the Christmas/New Year's weekend and was quoted a 45-minute wait, so I chose to sit at the bar instead. I ordered a margarita and was asked to pay immediately, which I understand as a precaution to prevent walk-outs. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill from there. The margarita glass I was served was visibly dirty. I asked for a clean glass, but the drink was returned in another cocktail glass that was also dirty. At that point, I was uncomfortable continuing to drink. The bar area was extremely loud and chaotic, which made it difficult to relax or enjoy the experience. I considered contacting the health department due to the glassware issue, but given the holiday weekend, I chose not to escalate it further at the time. Overall, this was a disappointing visit. This restaurant is in a very convenient area close to my job. I finally got visit it on a lunch break and try so hibachi. The restaurant was pretty much empty because it was in the middle of the day. If you want to go where there's a lot of people go for dinner. The restaurant was very nice. They have a separate hibachi space and another space where you can just sit by the bar. Off the lunch menu I did get hibachi shrimp with fried rice and a miso soup. The lunch alone cost me $23 so it is a bit pricey. The food was delicious. Shrimp was well cooked, miso soup delicious, brown rice was well cooked. The only issue that I have was that it was too much rice. I was basically paying $23 for75% rice in my whole meal. Next time, maybe I won't order rice. The restaurant was good I would return again for lunch. read more

I called this time to make a reservation because we had a large party. I then called again in attempt to add an additional person to my party, the host told me I was fine and to let her know when I arrived to the establishment. Once we arrived there was an issue with the parking meters, so a few people, 3 people, from my party of 11, went to park the cars in the garage associated with the restaurant. There was a concert going on so of course there will be traffic, I attempted to explain this to the host, she said ok. I also told her that I would like to add an additional person and she then told me that I could not because that was not what my reservation said. I explained to her that I called twice and she told me to wait upon arrival, she told me that she was the only one who had the phone and that she did not in fact say this. My family heard her, so she agreed to add them. Time has passed and she stated that because we were 30 minutes late she would not serve us if the full party did not arrive in 10 minutes. I again explained to her the situation again, she then became irate and began raising her voice. I will not be returning to this establishment. Our chef was very nice and to be honest his service was fast. I don't know if I was hungry or what but it just seemed like he wasted no time getting straight to the point. While the food was very good. the chef was heavy on the garlic. I also would've preferred extra egg in my rice, but I guess I didn't ask nonetheless I'll be back. They would've got four stars however, the waitress forgot to add gratuity to my first bill and ran the card, and then proceeded to run the card again for the second transaction with the gratuity added.
