We practically tried everything on the menu in our party and I'm glad we did. The flavor profiles and combinations made each dish a welcomed surprise, the nachos were out of this world. The building itself is very inviting. It had been renovated and had a relaxed and warm lodge feel. The staff are very friendly and attentive and were more than happy to help us make some ordering decisions. The hardest part was that we discovered this establishment on our last day and were unable to come a second time. There is also an arcade in the downstairs area if you want to hang out a bit and also a great outdoor space. I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area. I know we will be back!

Our server never introduced herself, made very little eye contact, and seemed uncomfortable interacting with us. She was also slow. We came on a Sunday where they have discounted drinks for brunch. They told the table after us about it, but they didn't tell us. We then found a LIVE bug crawling in our salad. Both the server and the manager explained that the lettuce is locally farmed. I understand that bugs can be found on fresh produce, but that does not change the fact that the salad should have been properly washed and inspected before being served. The brownie was also undercooked and raw in the middle, and the response to that was that it was "gluten free," which again felt more like an excuse than accountability. The manager offered us a $20 gift card and said he hoped we would give them another chance. I asked to use it toward our bill instead, and even that required the server to go check whether it could be done. What bothered me most was the lack of a sincere apology. Everyone seemed embarrassed and eager to move past the situation, but a genuine apology and some accountability would have gone a long way. This was supposed to be a nice birthday dinner, and instead it was an extremely unpleasant experience. We will not be returning. Go elsewhere.

All come in cans except Heady Topper, which you can grab on draft from a refrigerated beer engine. I have to say, having it on draft is a magical experience. Their aluminum cups are quite cute and you can take them home. Food is from a truck. Jamaican food that can be quite overwhelming with salt and spice if you're not careful. The potatoes were especially good. They hold events on their website including Boogie Bingo which we attended on Thursday night. Great host with a very dry sense of humor. We come up to Vermont every year, and this will definitely become a regular spot for us. Cheers!

The brewery is on the outskirts of town. It is an attractive facility situated on a large property with picturesque views. It was a beautiful day and they have lots of outdoor activities (corn hole, frisbee golf, etc) so there were people everywhere! This is a family friendly brewery and there were lots of kids running around. What a great vibe! I had a hand pulled Heady Topper. The brewery is the only place on the planet you can get Heady Topper hand pulled. It was worth the trip. My wife had a can of Light. I should note that other than Heady Topper everything comes in a can. No draft options which also means no tasting flights. I found that odd, but I get it. Not a big deal and it won't impact my rating. If you are in the area you might want to check this place out.

I think it was a mule. But so delicious some of us got pizza some sandwiches, some good fish. It was a wide variety across the board of things that people ordered. Everything was just delicious and it came out so quick and all on time like altogether we had like four tables and everybody ate within five minutes of each other. It was amazing because usually if it was a tape of service type of that big of people and we go out like sometimes the last people are still eating when the first group is done and leaving so this was kind of better that we all got to eat together like a big family. But I thought it was just a really cool place and it ran right along the bike path and the river and it was beautiful. It had mostly it was in a big building so it was mostly outside, but it was open for meant to end and it was just cool and comfortable and nobody was hurried or rushed and I felt that was a big important thing to me because I hate being rushed when I'm eating and stuff but it wasn't. We wanted to hit some of their top breweries. A friend who had been last year said his favorite was Idletyme so we hit their first. We wandered through the inside areas in to the back area. That's the spot. Underneath the canopy of trees there sits a long wooden bar. The vibe that day was ideal with the sunlight cutting through the leaves. I got their pilsner and it was the best beer of the trip. An excellent subtle tasty golden beverage. We moved on shortly after to the next spot but I had to agree that Idletyme was the spot. I plan to make it back to Stowe again soon, and Idletyme will be one of my first stops.

We made our selections then proceeded to the bar area to pickup our flights. I liked this as opposed to having to squint to see a menu too far away or wait for someone to finish crafting their flight before I can see a laminated menu. The bartender was accommodating- he allowed us to replace beers that were no longer on tap with a non-beer item (hard seltzer). Nothing stood out as far as the drinks go, but the staff was friendly. The tour was informative and I thoroughly enjoyed the live music/throwbacks.

The best part was the people. We ended up chatting with the brewmaster, who's from Mexico City, and he was super knowledgeable and easy to talk to. The owner was also very warm and friendly and made us feel welcome right away. We also happened to walk in during a salsa dance lesson, which was a fun surprise--definitely not something you expect to see in rural Vermont. Overall, a relaxed, welcoming spot with good drinks and interesting people. We would return.
