Lot Six is the kind of place that would be my go to hang out spot on the regular if I only lived nearby. This establishment is just fantastic. The brews are all wonderful and easy drinking, I rarely like every beer I try. The food is excellent and unique, definitely a welcomed twist on some familiar pub foods. We practically tried everything on the menu in our party and I'm glad we did. The flavor profiles and combinations made each dish a welcomed surprise, the nachos were out of this world. The building itself is very inviting. It had been renovated and had a relaxed and warm lodge feel. The staff are very friendly and attentive and were more than happy to help us make some ordering decisions. The hardest part was that we discovered this establishment on our last day and were unable to come a second time. There is also an arcade in the downstairs area if you want to hang out a bit and also a great outdoor space. I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area. I know we will be back! read more

Zero stars if I could. We came here to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday, and the experience was disappointing from start to finish. Our server never introduced herself, made very little eye contact, and seemed uncomfortable interacting with us. She was also slow. We came on a Sunday where they have discounted drinks for brunch. They told the table after us about it, but they didn't tell us. We then found a LIVE bug crawling in our salad. Both the server and the manager explained that the lettuce is locally farmed. I understand that bugs can be found on fresh produce, but that does not change the fact that the salad should have been properly washed and inspected before being served. The brownie was also undercooked and raw in the middle, and the response to that was that it was "gluten free," which again felt more like an excuse than accountability. The manager offered us a $20 gift card and said he hoped we would give them another chance. I asked to use it toward our bill instead, and even that required the server to go check whether it could be done. What bothered me most was the lack of a sincere apology. Everyone seemed embarrassed and eager to move past the situation, but a genuine apology and some accountability would have gone a long way. This was supposed to be a nice birthday dinner, and instead it was an extremely unpleasant experience. We will not be returning. Go elsewhere. read more

The food was disappointing, especially considering the portion sizes. The servings were noticeably small and left us feeling like we hadn't gotten much for what we paid. Unfortunately, the experience was made worse by the service. One of our waitresses. was extremely rude and threw the dishes on the table when serving us our food and proceeded not to apologize after. Overall, the combination of poor portions and unfriendly service made for a disappointing visit. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant unless they make significant improvements. read more

Food was tasty - different smash-burger flavors and juicy fried chicken sandwich. I also enjoyed the mushroom sauce (and the actual mushrooms in it) in the poutine . 4 stars for lot six. Can see them bumping up for sure. Some of the best food we had out at Smuggs , which they're adjacent to, and the beer was really good. They deserve more praise for their efforts and despite the more negative reviews here. They're great. Note : according o their website, their brewer used to work at Zero Gravity and brews their stuff there right now. First off, pro-tips: If you want one, order a side with you sandwich. For the good price, it's just the sandwich. Take the Smuggs shuttle over, walk in and they'll let you seat yourself. 2) The prices really aren't bad. You do have to add $2 for a side salad or side tots to your sandwich, FYI. But, that's fine. These prices are better than most of the restaurants down the road at Smuggler's Notch. Our group loved the beet salad (just note the beets are under the lettuce), House burger and Chicken sandwich. My fish and chips were good but i also didn't get much wasabi from the wasabi chips. We had the pre-funk beer, Drivetrain IPA and the other IPA. All were very good. Service was excellent. Lot Six is an about-face from the latter days of Brewster River pub, so if you were burned by Brewster, give Lot six a chance. read more

Not many spots close to Smuggs plus live music = score! Seated right away but had to go back to counter after 15 minutes of watching other tables get seated after us and get orders taken. Got that resolved, food was all fresh and delicious except the fried chicken sandwich was a weak chicken breast... flat and mostly breading. Burger and wings were great. Service remained slow. I recommend trying vs Smuggs options and hope they step up their attention to detail! read more

Located super close to Smuggs where we stayed, the adults needed a break from the kids and went here for an adult beverage and conversation. The place was slightly confusing. It's a brewery with a Japanese theme. Easy to get a seat, we settled into a booth and ordered some food. I had the drivetrain IPA and very much liked. We ordered the tator tot poutine and it was ok, wouldn't order again. I recall it being salty. 'Michigan sauce' was extra at $3. We had an order of wings and I really enjoyed. read more

Oysters were definitely not fully shucked, took 25 minutes to get a beer over 70 minutes to get food including a fish fry that was actual dust with cold fries. Tofu sandwich came with nearly raw beets on it and everyone who tried to smash burger had a nasty trip to the bathroom the next morning. Really really do not waste your time. We are up here about 4-5 times a year and it's sad to see this place banking off the lack of competition. They did comp two beers and the fish I returned because it was inedible. Bare minimum in my opinion. Don't waste your time or money. read more

The goal was to visit several breweries in the area, I don't drink, commiserate, be stupid, and have more fun. We stayed at a VRVO on Desjardin about 1 miles away. It was walking distance for most guys, I had to drive as an above the knee amputee May 2023. They had their own craft beer, was close by, and also food. We went there Friday and Saturday night. We started outside on their patio Friday night. The dudes got some beers, I got a diet coke. For food I had the Tokyo Falafel. I thought it was ok. As one of the other reviewers said it was Asian fusion. I would have preferred a traditional falafel. Also a side of fries would be nice. We eventually to the party indoors as the sun started to set and the bugs came out. My diet coke was served in this cool stainless steel logo tumbler. I purchased six and a t-shirt. They weren't cheap, they are memorable items. We never felt rushed to leave and open a table. The staff was super friendly. So much so that a female bartender came up to me and saw my prosthetic/amputation. She said that the owner is a below the knee amputation (mine is above the knee) and gave me encouragement and praise. She said the owner said "Those are my people!" He was busy and got even busier as the night went on. When I went up to purchase the souvenirs he was at the register hustling. He thanked me for my patronage and then showed me his prosthetic. I had no clue he was the owner till that point. On Saturday it was 4 of us. Again I had a diet coke, not in the cool tumbler, so sad. I had a house salad and nachos. The salad was with spinach (I think) topped with a sesame asian type dressing. I would have preferred a more traditional salad. I had the nachos with Michigan Sauce. What is Michigan Sauce? Glad you asked. It is a type of meat sauce, almost Ohio Chili type concoction. On the nachos they are amazing! The guys had wings, they enjoyed them. Oh they got them Friday night, 10 cents each. I guess they were that good. It was close to their closing time 8:30, booked thumbs down in the hours. We settled the check. Some of the staff from Friday recognized us and welcomed us back. I got on line to purchase more stainless steel tumblers to give out as gifts (12 in total). The owner was back at the register, welcomed me back. We talked for a bit more. He is building an addiction in the back, a beer garden type setting, where beer to take out will be available. I really like the vibe. It's a locals joint that is super friendly to visitors, or at least us. We are a mixed race group of guys that have known each other, some for over 30 years. I gave it 5 stars because of the vibe, the friendliness of the entire staff, and the Nachos with Michigan sauce. Perhaps the owner or chef is a Culinary Institute of America trained chef or brought up in eclectic food prep. Perhaps the bread and butter is in beer & wine sales (I didn't see hard liquor being dispensed). Or perhaps that worked elsewhere and why mess with what works. It doesn't matter. If you are in the area, GO! We had a fantastic time, I hope you will also. read more

Everything was very good, service was pleasant and helpful. I came here mostly to rate the Chicken Sandwich, which was one of the best I've had in a long time. Very flavorful and just the right size. My wife had the burger and she was complimenting it the whole time. Homemade pickles were a nice touch on both sandwiches. The kids loved the Pizza Bagels, great idea - more places should do a pizza bagel for the kids meals. Only note I had was the portions were a bit small for the money, but maybe I should not be so surprised since it's a ski/tourist spot. read more

This is a new place by Smuggs and what a refreshing change. It has a Japanese flair to your regular pub food. We were seated promptly and our waitress Ava was very attentive. They were having their first trivia night which added to a fun evening. Two of us had the Worlds Greatest salad in which we both added karaage chicken. Another ordered the burger with a side of tater tots. I had to keep sneaking the tots. Last person ordered the Karaage chicken sandwich with a salad. Everyone enjoyed their meals. This is my new go to place when staying in Smuggs! read more

This newer restaurant in an old location adjacent to Smuggs is a mixed bag. Atmosphere is similar, beer is pretty good, and food is good, but just wrong for a brewery or post ski stop. Basically Asian Fusion type food. Lots of veggies. Not bad at all, just not what most of us wanted with our beer nor after a good but cold day on the mountain. They need more hearty food! Most of us didn't get filled up. Prices were fair, but portions a little lean. Might work better in the Summer. read more

Great new spot that recently opened on 108 very close to Smuggler's Notch Resort! The space has been nicely renovated and has lots of windows and natural light, making it a cool spot to hang out. Inside there's a bar area and lots of tables and booths, including some that can accommodate large groups. There's also a small outdoor area with tables and umbrellas. The food is elevated pub fare with an Asian twist. Our group tried the nachos (enormous!), burgers, chicken sandwich, the world's greatest salad, and the homemade blueberry rhubarb crisp and everything was delicious! Our server and all the staff we interacted with were very friendly. I'm excited to go back next time we're in Vermont. read more

Stopped by this place intending to have a few beers and some snacks and ended up making a dinner out it. Our waitress was super flexible and accommodating, allowing us to taste some wines and a salad to see if we liked them (it was "yes" on the wine and "no" on the salad). The beer selection was good, the truffle tots were awesome, and we had a great view of the falling snow through the huge window at the end of the room. read more

Cool space, indoors and outdoors, that fits perfectly into the Notch vibe. Just a few beers on tap, but the Pilsner and IPA were excellent expressions of their styles. The food is way better than your standard pub fare. The vegetarian bahn mi with seitan was delicious. The grilled broccoli was a fun presentation with what seemed like panko and pickled onions. (The only recommended change to it would be to cut it up for more caramelized surfaces.) Staff were friendly and helpful. For a brewpub just a few months old, they are killing it. read more

Our waitress was really nice, food was good, and they have nice decor and ambiance. we used to come here all the time after skiing when it was Brewster Pub. My husband got the burger, and I got the "greatest salad" on the menu. they were both good! They only have 4 beers on tap right now because they're still building the brewery in the back, which is understandable since they just opened not too long ago. The only thing we wish is that the menu was larger with more options. The food choices are a little odd for a brewery. But overall we will be returning for a beer when coming up to Smuggs! read more

Food was served fresh and fast. The interior is clean and bright with beautifully crafted mortise and tenon woodwork. Both of the IPAs were delicious and they have wine/mixed drinks if you prefer. The food is edible, nothing special but the price gouging is out of hand. I ordered a patty melt that came with swiss cheese i asked to swap with american which is not a more expensive product and I was charged $2. When I asked to swap the cheese it was not mentioned that would be an upcharge. I would not have swapped the cheese for $2. $1 lettuce, $1 onion, $2 for one slice of tomato. All not on the menu upcharges and again no mention of a charge by the waitress when asked if there was lettuce and tomato. A burger comes with nothing just bad bread and meat. No side. Kids food also comes with nothing on the side. Loved brewsters that was here prior to this place. This was an unfortunate swap. Wont be returning. Cost $250 for my family to eat a mediocre meal and then had to feed my kids back in the room after. Spent $24 on tater tots that were all half burned. Could have bought a huge bag of frozen tots for less money and had a better quality outcome because they are certainly just frying up frozen tots. read more
