Karagge Chicken sandwich with Side salad

4 stars for lot six. Can see them bumping up for sure. Some of the best food we had out at Smuggs , which they're adjacent to, and the beer was really good. They deserve more praise for their efforts and despite the more negative reviews here. They're great. Note : according o their website, their brewer used to work at Zero Gravity and brews their stuff there right now. First off, pro-tips: If you want one, order a side with you sandwich. For the good price, it's just the sandwich. Take the Smuggs shuttle over, walk in and they'll let you seat yourself. 2) The prices really aren't bad. You do have to add $2 for a side salad or side tots to your sandwich, FYI. But, that's fine. These prices are better than most of the restaurants down the road at Smuggler's Notch. Our group loved the beet salad (just note the beets are under the lettuce), House burger and Chicken sandwich. My fish and chips were good but i also didn't get much wasabi from the wasabi chips. We had the pre-funk beer, Drivetrain IPA and the other IPA. All were very good. Service was excellent. Lot Six is an about-face from the latter days of Brewster River pub, so if you were burned by Brewster, give Lot six a chance.

This is a new place by Smuggs and what a refreshing change. It has a Japanese flair to your regular pub food. We were seated promptly and our waitress Ava was very attentive. They were having their first trivia night which added to a fun evening. Two of us had the Worlds Greatest salad in which we both added karaage chicken. Another ordered the burger with a side of tater tots. I had to keep sneaking the tots. Last person ordered the Karaage chicken sandwich with a salad. Everyone enjoyed their meals. This is my new go to place when staying in Smuggs!

Service and food were awesome. Great beer and local hard cider too! The renovations make it feel like you're in a log cabin.

Great new spot that recently opened on 108 very close to Smuggler's Notch Resort! The space has been nicely renovated and has lots of windows and natural light, making it a cool spot to hang out. Inside there's a bar area and lots of tables and booths, including some that can accommodate large groups. There's also a small outdoor area with tables and umbrellas. The food is elevated pub fare with an Asian twist. Our group tried the nachos (enormous!), burgers, chicken sandwich, the world's greatest salad, and the homemade blueberry rhubarb crisp and everything was delicious! Our server and all the staff we interacted with were very friendly. I'm excited to go back next time we're in Vermont.

Great food and brews. The staff are all awesome as well. The cold brew martini is a must try!

There are now areas to be able to drink onsite. They have a bunch of seating, high and low, and they also have a stage for musicians. I am glad it is now a spot to be able to sit down and have a beer, instead of being just a spot to pick up cans.

It was intriguing to peek behind the curtain and they even offer paid tours. All of the workers we encountered were pleasant and enthusiastic about the products. We loved the chill vibe of the location, as they had an open outdoors area with seating and lawn games, including disc golf and corn hole. There was also an outdoor patio with a couch and stage for live performances. It was a place I could see myself kicking back at on the regular if I were local to the area. The location was not serving food when we visited though a food truck was located on site and said it would be opening in May. They did have complementary bags of pretzels available for guests to take. We also enjoyed the gift shop and the fun merch for sale. We purchased a hat. My husband enjoyed his beer and regrets not purchasing a four pack to take home.

Workers were very friendly and welcoming inside. The inside had some bar seating and some table seating with someone playing piano. The menu has a variety of different sandwiches. I started with a hot chocolate and the elote dip. Hot chocolate was nothing special but was good on a cold day. The elote dip was delicious! Warm and cheesy! Yum! I then ordered the falafel pita. It wasn't my favorite. The falafel was crisp but I didn't love the homemade gluten free pita. It was not fluffy and was just kinda bland. The fries were made well! Thick and very crispy. Overall the atmosphere was nice.

So while on a trip and looking for a spot to grab some lunch naturally we ended up picking this spot. I've been aware of Lost Nation Brewing but it's been since 2016/2017 when I had a beer from them last. To start they have ample parking and have a nicely painted mural on the side of their building. They have an indoor section we did not check that out and instead sat at the bar in the outdoor section. How can you pass up looking into the kitchen and also the wafting scents of burgers, fries and everything else being cooked. Despite a chillier day than most we have had lately it was worth it! Besides their own brews they had guest taps, guest botttles/cans, and even some cocktails including some spiked apple cider for that fall feeling drink. For beer fans they even had a rotating Hillfarmstead DIPA for a guest tap. I ended up getting their Kolsch and my wife got their gose. Both very solid beers and worth grabbing. Food wise they had a couple burgers, fried chicken sandwich, pulled pork, turkey sandwich, hot dogs, and some small plates. My wife ended up choosing the burger and I got their fried chicken sandwich. She enjoyed the burger and thought it was cooked very well. The chicken sandwich was delicious, the fact it was smothered in honey did make it a bit messy to eat but tasted so good! The fries we got were massive and well seasoned and the side of pickles were great too. Would be a no brainer to get either one again if we visit again! Bartender was friendly and we didn't wait long at all for the drinks or food! Well made brews paired along side delicious food, really what more could you ask for? If you visit during warmer weather it appeared they have a huge outdoor area further back than we were in as well! If you like visiting breweries add this to your list to check out!

Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. From the moment we sat down, the attitude from behind the bar set the tone in the worst way. The older woman tending bar was openly dismissive, rolled her eyes at simple questions about the menu, and made us feel like we were inconveniencing her every time we ordered a drink or asked for something basic like water or silverware. No greeting, no smile, and zero effort to be even minimally polite. At one point she dropped drinks in front of us without a word and walked away before we could even ask for what was missing. It's a shame, because the kitchen clearly cares, but the experience at the bar completely overshadowed how good the food was. If ownership ever addresses the front-of-house attitude, this could be a fantastic place, but until then, be prepared for excellent plates paired with some truly miserable service.
