Seafood pasta

We arrived at about 930 on a Saturday night. For a red lobster there wasn't much customers, maybe five tables. We were seated and waited 30 minutes for a waiter to take our drink order. I should've left then because it only gets worse. After a long mixup we finally got a waitress she took our drink orders appetizer orders and disappeared. When she comes back she has water and cheddar bay biscuits, they were burned. I ordered a margarita my niece orders a smoothie. We got our appetizers before our drinks even arrive no big deal. I ordered stuffed mushrooms she ordered lobster dip my stuffed mushrooms were awful flavorless and overcooked. The dip was just OK. We make our dinner orders, I order the trio shrimp, and she orders some sort of seafood pasta and a side order of the lobster bisque soup. All of the food was just awful. My Caesar salad that came with my food was wilted and my salad was hot. The soup tasted like pumpkin baby food. My shrimp linguine pasta was overcooked and the shrimp was undercooked. I'm just not sure what happened here. Also the restaurant was dirty trash all on the floor, and they even made my margarita wrong. I'm not sure how a restaurant can operate like this but the customers deserve better. I must also note that I paid extra money for asparagus that was burned on the tips.

Always enjoy eating here. The food is what you expect from a chain that has been around for over 40 years. Good service even when they are open on a holiday. Plenty of parking and easy to get to. I wanted to try the cheddar bay lobster stuffing and was able to get it as one of my sides with the grilled shrimp and scallops entree. I just wish they would offer the maple barq sauce with it. The broccoli is some of the best you get in restaurants. All was good when I warmed them up the next day. It was so quiet when I was there, but U of M was in the Rose Bowl during this time so the whole town seemed like a ghost town. Look forward to having a reason to come back.

My first time ever at a Red Lobster and we had a good experience! Have been getting ads for "Lobster Fest" which is finally what brought us in - not sure if this is a temporary thing or just a new thing. Husband and I both got the Lobster Lover's Duo which is two tails - one Maine and one Caribbean Rock lobster. I liked both! Also came with choice of sides - I got fries and cole slaw. Fries were hot and crispy on the outside, potato-y on the inside. We shared a Shrimp Cocktail appetizer as well. The 6 shrimp were huge, and in addition to traditional cocktail sauce, it came with a fun Thai chili lime cilantro sauce as well which I enjoyed. Interior/ambiance was nicer than I expected. Nautical/Maine themed but not kitschy. Only thing that raised my eyebrows a little was that the two tails and two sides is about the same price for the same thing at Real Seafood Co. Not sure if that means quality is on par or if this is premium pricing for Red Lobster. Other items appeared to be better value. Oh also the complimentary biscuits!! Lived up to the hype for sure. Super good, and served hot. Way softer than normal biscuits.

I grew up eating here in the 80s. It was considered upscale. My son decided to indulge me in a walk down memory lane. He had the Sailor's feast, which was full of deep fried yummies and mashed potatoes. I started with a side salad with bleu cheese. It was pretty good. Of course, we had a few baskets of the cheddar biscuits which were amazing. I followed up with steamed crab and a loaded baked potato. Solid comfort food meal. I may return with the other son.

It's been some time since I've visited this location. My son is at U of M (Go Blue!) I hadn't seen him since Christmas. We decided to go here for lunch to catch up. The service and food was excellent.

From the gardens to the land with a creek flowing though it -- to the beautiful building and pleasing decor inside and a porch with tables around much of it. So impressed. The menu, our server explained, is changed out quarterly and this is the new summer one. So many unique small and large plates (but when he described them, they were way more intricate and enticing than the menu even showed). He was attentive and helped guide our choices. We ordered the eggplant small plate to share, then the mushroom pizza (so much tastier than the description would indicate), and the wild boar brat with cherry and peach accents. Everything was delicious. I also got an iced latte with the house made mocha and it was better than alcohol, if you're a coffee lover anyway. 100% plan to come back! And likely soon. This is up there with how I feel about Sylvan Table, which is a huge compliment to Dixboro Project!

This Sunday, my mom invited myself and my siblings to join her for brunch. The ambience was amazing - with lovely natural lighting and gorgeous table settings. The menu makes every dish seem mouthwatering and delicious. When the plates came out, they were gorgeous and the food looked so inviting. Unfortunately, the taste was completely lacking. If you're going to charge the prices they're charging, the flavor should be amazing in every single bite. We sampled four different dishes, and none blew me away. Some, were even borderline "bad." Here's a rundown: mushroom pizza - the description makes it seem like it will be cheesy and full of flavor, but it was very one note duck confit pizza - had three pieces of duck on it and was otherwise covered in hot peppers lemon blueberry pancake - more of a skillet cake - sauce was the best part, otherwise dry on the bottom Raclette burger - $30 which is almost comparable in price to a burger I had at The Four Seasons in Maui. That burger, was worth every penny. This one had absolutely no flavor. The meat tasted like mush - definitely lacked seasoning, and there was not a speck of cheese to be found. If you're going to call a burger a raclette, it should be oozing with cheese. grilled Romaine salad - leaves were bitter and the dressing again, looked delicious, but had no flavor. The flavors did not compliment each other at all - with the pickled grapes, taking away from the dish and contrasting very starkly against the rotten tasting lettuce Brown sugar oat milk latte - really the only thing that delivered both on looks and on flavor. Sadly, not high on my list of places to return. It kind of made me think of Vegas: lots of pomp and glam which momentarily distracts you into thinking you're having the best time of your life. But in retrospect, not very fulfilling.

Great Brunch, good Lunch, but menu could use more variety!…read more Savas is an adorable restaurant with a really welcoming atmosphere; the space is cute, the environment is lovely, and the staff is genuinely amazing every single time. My first visit was for brunch, and it completely won me over. The buffet had a wonderful variety of food, the mimosas and cocktails were delicious, and for the quality, variety, and service you get, the price point is very fair. I left thoroughly impressed. I came back for lunch excited to experience it again, and while the staff was just as warm and the environment just as great, however, this time the lunch menu didn't quite live up to my expectations. They offer salads, sandwiches, mac and cheese and similar American-style comfort food, which is totally fine, but for a restaurant of this caliber I was hoping for something a little more exciting. I ended up ordering a salad with added shrimp, which was absolutely delicious, and a pomegranate rosemary lemonade that was incredibly refreshing - perfect for a summer day-. But if you're not in the mood for sandwiches, salads, or mac and cheese, your options are pretty limited. My suggestion: keep doing everything you're doing because the hospitality and atmosphere are truly special, but consider expanding the lunch and dinner menu for those looking for a heartier or more diverse meal.

Seating was simple and quick... they do check your ID at the door before you get seated. Interior hasn't changed and I don't expect it to change. I appreciate the old vibe that place gives. For meal, we ordered: - few onions rings - Fried Artichoke Hearts - 2 regular burgers and 1 order "over the top" - few beers The service is hit or miss, depends on how busy the place gets... our waitress was working six tables by herself, but she did all she could to help. The onion rings were awesome, fried artichoke hearts, you can skip... for the burgers, I would recommend you stick to classic - meat, cheese, lettuce, tomato and onions. We all got it med, the meat was juicy as usual and we all enjoyed it. The draft beer that I ordered was flat unfortunately. When we got our check I noticed that there was a "convenience fee 3%", which is applied to your meal prices only. I'm not a fan of convenience fee, if they are trying to offset the credit card charges or adjust their prices due to the inflation or higher material costs, they should just raise their prices to offset those. I also didn't see anything about convenience fee being added, granted if it was in a smaller print so I could have missed it. It seems everyone is adding on convenience fee to everything.
