I went here for winter formal for high school and when we finally got seated and the waitress asked what we wanted to drink, one of the girls in our group changed their mind at the last second and the waitress got mad. She was very disrespectful to my friend whom is really sensitive. When the waitress came with our food, she handed everyone their stuff then she handed me my fries and spilled the ketchup all over my white shirt and black pants an hour before the dance. It was really expensive and I was mad but my girlfriend luckily calmed me down while helping me clean it off. You could still clearly see it after it was all done. The waitress didn't apologize. In fact, she rolled her eyes. I expected her to at least give us a discount but nope. She's lucky my girlfriend is a nice person or else she wouldn't have gotten a tip read more

My family has always favored this restaurant. Lately, the food quality and quality has declined yet the prices have continued to rise. Today was no different. All items seemed to be very greasy and/or portions were smaller than previous years. The salads had to be cut as the lettuce was cut in large chunks in addition to the salads that come with cheese(huge cheese fan) had very little on them. The clam chowder was oily and had no taste. The New Orleans Salmon was covered in a plate full of peppered, buttery grease. The lobster mac was missing lobster and also had a greasy taste. With all that said- our service was good and has always been pleasant at this location. It is just a shame that the food continues to deteriorate. read more

Many years ago I was served a reconstituted / rewarmed Red Lobster meal in San Antonio, Texas. Vowed to never go to Red Lobster again. Fast forward several years... thought I'd give it a try, big mistake ! Red Lobster @ Fairfield Commons, Beavercreek, Ohio continues the tradition... All but ignored when trying to request a table, if I did not know any better, felt our ethnicity played a part - one caucasion man with an Africa Americam man... we were at Wright - Patterson AFB for training we're co-workers. Waitress served bisquits, stated more were being made - dinner hour - how does a restaurant not prepare for the dinner hour / rush ? Sirloin steak was cooked to order - barely warm, shrimp barbequed without sauce, it was cold, mashed potatoes barely warm. Service was satisfactory, the table next to us was a party of more than six people, cha ching in waitress mind, thinking two of us did not matter so much. This is the continuing reason I do not want to patronize Red Lobster. read more

Wish I could review the food or service but we got neither. Sat at our table (very dark but in the main area across from the bar), and waited for 20 minutes. We saw several waiters, waitresses, and the manager go back and forth past our table, but no one ever stopped. We finally gave up and left because it was obvious somehow we were never put in the system or assigned a server. This was our first date night in 6mo without the baby, so we are really disappointed. Good for what it is. Some of the prices seem to be off. Our server was great and the food was tasty. We both ordered the four course dinner. I really liked the coconut shrimp! No compliants about the food and the service. :) I was surprised to see a entree for $33 on the menu. You can order Swordfish at Fleming's Prime Steakhouse for that price...and that's quite a nice restaurant. I enjoy the option of ordering a whole lobster here. And the price was on par with about how much it costs to boil one yourself, at home. I'll keep that in mind! read more

Very disappointed in my meal there tonight. I ordered "Cedar-Plank Seafood Bake" and my wife ordered a "Shrimp Trio" My wife said her meal was delicious. Mine was not. The sausage and potato wedges were good enough. the four shrimp were overdone, but still decent. The rock lobster tails were more overdone and basically tasteless and a little rubbery. I ended up drenching them in the butter, which I seldom do with lobster, enjoying it on its own. The corn on the cob was terrible. I choked down two bites and that was all I could take of it. The meal wasn't worth a third of the price paid for it. My wife ordered a Mai Tai which came with a pineapple slice garnish. My wife loves pineapple. she had one bite of this one and banished it to her napkin. The service wasn't any better. Our waiter never came by to check on how our meal was. The manager also never came around, which is rare in Red Lobsters. I ordered a Hendrick's Martini with three olives. the waiter said he didn't know how to ring that up. I told him to ask the bartender because he would know. I never received the martini. I would have reminded him if he would have come by and asked. At least I didn't get charged for it. read more

I don't review food often but any restaurant claiming to be a seafood restaurant should be ashamed of what they call their shrimp topped crabcake DINNER. The 4 small pieces of shrimp were overcooked and way bigger than the tiny crab cakes. The cakes were smashed breading with more corn than crab. Clearly they cook them with the shrimp on top so the shrimp is overcooked and the cakes are mushy and unseared. Didn't see a single lump of crab meat and as you can see from the pics they are about the thickness of 2 saltine crackers. They could learn something from Pappadeaux about seafood and the prices are about the same. read more

Ty was my tables server for the night. She was fantastic! She engaged in our conversations when we asked her questions. She was super sweet. She had a ton of energy and made sure our table was well taken care of. I would definitely come back and have her as my server again. read more

The biscuits were ok until they ran out. During dinner rush!! I ordered snow crab and was picking the meat out and found multiple hairs in my crab. Disappointed and disgusted I told the server and she proceeds to tell me that it's just part of the crab! Four dark short hairs is apart of crab?!? So she tells me she will get me a new cluster and brings me back over cooked crab with grey sludge all over it. I know crab is a crustacean but it doesn't have to be crusty!! The manager came over and doesn't apologized or say anything but "is that crab was better?" ????? I just said yes and left that mess of a restaurant so I don't recommend this location at all. First, I must say that our server Michael was excellent. However, he was also the only bartender and covering take out. He was running ragged but was friendly and attentive. They had us wait in the lobby and seated us at 6:03 so we missed endless shrimp. We were seated by the kitchen and heard people yelling during our whole meal as well as the crashing of plates and glasses. No stars for atmosphere. The food was tasty. We were seated right next to the server station so servers were constantly banging menus, tray holders, spray bottles, and dirty dishes. This is a chain, so don't expect anything overly special. The main thing I look at when I do to this place is service. The service at this place was pretty good. They were VERY busy but our waitress worked her butt off. She was able to keep up with our drinks (we drink alot!) and since we had a small table she kept up with empty plates too. read more

I hate writing this post because this WAS the only Red Lobster I liked going to! Something has changed! The cheddar bay biscuits are different and in texture, they don't even hold together they just crumble apart the minute you touch them. My clam chower was decent and thicker than normal, my son liked it also. Now onto ordering dinner, our waitress was OUTSTANDING, even though they have completely modified, and took off the good items,she felt really bad. NOT HER FAULT! My son loved their parmesean crusted chicken with corkscrew pasta and broccoli. They no longer serve it, he was VERY sad. So he ended up get this small portion of chicken with alfredo sauce. $17.49 awful no sides either cause I had to upgrade for his soup. Ordered our food on line. This was not a hard or a large order. You would think they could at least get the food to you hot. Had to wait twenty minutes for bread,they were out. By the time it came out food was cold. While waiting asked for extra butter and sour cream, never got any, none at all. If they are to busy to make the order properly they should get more help. It was okay. The server, Jess, was really nice and did a wonderful job. The food was good. I didn't like the salad, just wasn't big enough and lacked a punch. Great job. I know it's a chain restaurant, but the food was great and the beer was cold. Sat at the bar and was served by Shane. Meh. Didn't love my meal and wished I'd have gone somewhere else. Ordered the Ultimate Feast as did the rest of my table. Crab legs were great but that is where it ended. Lobster was overlooked and tasted freezer burned, fried shrimp were wet and mush, and the shrimp scampi tasted like a big bite of garlic powder. This was not our best visit to this location, we are usually very happy with this location. There were 7of us and we were seated right away, waitress took our orders. We sat there for at least 10 minutes to get the drinks,we thought maybe she was going to bring our salads with them, but no had to wait longer for salad. We were half way through our salad when the brought our entrees, we had trouble getting all the plates on the table. The was good but not real hot because we had to finish our salads. My family and I had the worst experience here last night! We went for an early birthday dinner. They got the dressing wrong on my aunt's salad and it took forever to come out. I ordered their $32 steamed lobster. There was no description about having to crack the lobster so when it came out and the server asked if I needed it cracked I said yes please. I did not know this also meant it would be cleaned. I was fine with that, but the cleaning process took over a half an hour and the reason provided for this was because someone new was trying to do this. The rest of my family was finished eating by the time I got my lobster and the butter they served it was cold by this time. We asked to talk to the manager to see if maybe they would discount it a little or offer something, but the manager was so rude! She did not even apologize and treated us as if we had been rude customers all night. My mom ordered there tacos and the rice it came with had a large piece of plastic in it. The only upside was that the server was very nice, but the rest of the experience was awful. Do not eat here! read more

I came here with my husband and grandma for early dinner on a Thursday night recently. I didn't expect a Thursday to be busy but it definitely was! I've seen other reviews about mediocre service but I stand corrected! First and foremost, I thought it'd take forever to get sat looking around the restaurant from the bar but we were sat and immediately greeted by our server, Kai. Kai was great, to say the least. She was very personable and although I know she had to have at least 4 other tables she was so personable with us and gave us great recommendations! We didn't feel rushed and she was always there to check in. We tried the new Crabfest promotions. The Crab Lovers Dream--Tasty was an understatement. Even the presentation was good. Kai was very patient with my grandma ordering and was very knowledgeable and informative. We also had a manager (can't remember name) stop past and make sure that we were enjoying our experience! I see this restaurant improving each time we visit and that makes me happy. Bring more caring managers on and servers like these two and business will never stop coming through your doors! read more

I went to Red Lobster last night with a group and ordered the Great Lakes Whitefish, which was on special. The server brought out meals announcing the items ordered. She called out a tilapia with mashed potatoes and broccoli. I told her it sounded like my mine, but I ordered whitefish. She then looked at my plate and proclaimed it whitefish. It was not. I know a tilapia fillet versus whitefish. After a short discussion interspersed with laughter (The Group's), I decided to let it go. I had whitefish the previous time I was there and it was great. At least, I think it was whitefish. Now I wonder. read more

My friend and I often have lunch at the Red Lobster in Beavercreek, we even have a favorite server and request her section. We've never had a problem of any kind. Today, however, is a different story. Our server (not our usual as she was not working) was fantastic, the food was as expected, the problem was with a spot of what appeared to be blood on the napkin covering the cheddar bay biscuits. We notified the server, who removed the basket of bread and the napkin from our table, she then stated that she would inform the manager and we should expect a visit from her. A few minutes later, the manager (who didn't even introduce herself) stopped by our table and proceeded to lie to our faces about how it was probably transfer of red sharpie marker from her hand on which she had written a reminder note. She then smiled and showed us the hastily jotted numbers on her palm, and assured us this is what it "had" to be. Really. That's your story? This was clearly a drip, not transfer, and it was blood! I wish one of us had the foresight to snap a picture before the napkin disappeared. read more

Service is meh (it isn't bad but isn't amazing either). The food is alright, I remember eating here a lot when I was younger and I thought it was better then but maybe I've had a change in taste or maybe the food just isn't as good as I remember it. Speaking of the food, I do think it is a little over-priced. But overall, it is a good dining experience. Final thoughts; I have mixed feelings. It is alright, nothing amazing. Would I eat there again? Yes I would. It would be nice if they reconsidered some of the prices however. read more
