    The run punch. Avoid.
    Ashley B.

Came here on my last day of my trip for lunch. We were sat near the bar. The server was really nice. The first drink I ordered was a rum punch. I do NOT recommend it. It tasted like Delsyn Cough syrup. I had it replaced with a Tito's strawberry lemonade vodka and it was SO much better. I think the only thing that bothered me is they didn't have a dish that served both crab legs and lobster. So I ended up not even getting what I wanted. I was stuck getting the shrimp two for deal. It was grilled shrimp and I ordered the crispy brussel sprouts and it came with rice. That was all very good. My friend ordered some kind of chicken deal. And then his friend just had a drink and the cheddar baby biscuits. They were both teasing me because I'm from Florida and they say that their seafood does not taste good like mine. Honestly since I only had shrimp I couldn't really give an answer. I just know that most of the Red Lobsters around me closed and I wanted to check it out before I left.

It was extremely busy when I went and they were understaffed. I thought by sitting at the bar it would be faster but not as much. I can say the bartender was really nice and apologetic. The food did come out fresh and hot.

    Seafood boil

Tried the new seafood boil, it was bette then expected! Potatoes could have been cooked longer but overall Cajun butter was a hit, lobster and sausage was the best! Emily server as great and went out the way to make our visit meaningful! Thanks red lobster on

We ordered the stuffed mushrooms right off and they were awesome as always. We both tried the 3-Course Shrimp Sensation and it was delicious. We both choose clam chowder & Scampi is my favorite so of course I had that, we had the shrimp cocktail & coconut shrimp and baked potatoes and cheddar biscuits. Everything was good (only reason I did not award 5 stars is the cheddar biscuits were not hot but the rest of the food was. Elijah was our waitress and she rocked, never waited for water!!!

    Lobster and crab Lobster Flatbread

It's been a couple years since we ate there, but it used to be our favorite place specially for our anniversary. We hadn't been back in for a while and didn't know what to expect but we're extremely pleased with what we found. Diamond our server gave us outstanding service particularly since my wife is gluten-free. My personal favorite from 1971, the fried flounder was not on the menu, but we found out that they could still prepare it for us and did and it was absolutely excellent. I ordered the lobster flatbread to take home for lunch on a trial basis and took one piece and found out that it was superb. The salads were huge and, full of stuff and clean and good quality vegetables. The whole place was clean as a whistle. We really love the ambience. I have been in many red lobsters where the restaurants were designed pretty much all the same and were rather dark and unwelcoming, but this one is by far my favorite out of the chains. With some of the nearby red lobster chains closing down, we are glad to see this particular restaurant still open and hope it stays open for many years to come.

Ask him about the off menu items, trust me they are delicious. Just so you know you're here for the authentic New Orleans food, not the decor. The food is cooked up upon ordering so it does take a little bit longer than a traditional restaurant . Order up!! The design is still a work in progress, but the food is the real adventure. We dove right in on our order and started with etouffe and queso dip & boudin balls( off the menu item). This was served with our drinks so we casually enjoyed each morsel. We then were served our entrees: deep fried catfish etouffe on a bed of rice, the gumbo is off the chain there is lobster and alligator in it, the room is perfectly made for the gumbo as well . Then the crawfish etouffe is also superb. My complements to the chef, 20 years in Mississippi & Louisiana area, you brought me home. Thank you ! We topped off our lunch with the fluffiest beignets ever. The atmosphere is delightful, the food is scrumptious I highly recommend this spot for lunch or dinner.

With a heavy mound of onions and mushrooms on top, the grits ended up feeling dry and pulled all the moisture out of the bite. The flavor itself was fine, just lacking moisture and balance. We also ordered the scallops and risotto. The risotto was the standout. Bright, fresh finish, great texture, and not overpowering. The scallops, unfortunately, were the opposite. They had a noticeably strong smell right away, which usually means they're not as fresh as they should be, especially at a $40 price point. We took them home, but every time we opened the fridge the smell hit us, so they ultimately went in the trash. Despite this particular experience, we've always enjoyed this place. Service is consistently great, drinks are solid, and we usually leave happy. Hoping this was just an off evening, because we genuinely like coming here. Adding an additional * for the great service and because we haven't had a bad experience otherwise.

We stopped by for lunch and were really impressed with the quality of the food and the great customer service we received. We started our meal with the crab dip and hush puppies and it was a great start to our meal. Everything arrived warm and fresh and delicious and great for sharing. For our entree we ordered the special pasta of the day which was a pesto sauce pasta with chicken and the shrimp and grits. Two completely different types of dishes and both were absolutely FANTASTIC! The pesto sauce of the pasta dish was one of the best pesto sauces we have had in a really long time. Absolutely delicious. The shrimp and grits was just perfection the very best grits I've also had in a long time. The shrimp was perfectly cooked and the whole dish was so full of flavor. Truly one of the best dishes I've had in a long time. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals, everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. Best part - the restaurant was so affordable (especially for a seafood restaurant) which we loved as well. We have dined at many expensive seafood restaurants over the years and most are simply overpriced and the food is usually ok but not wow by any means. I can truly say the food at this restaurant was WOW, and at a great price point. The shrimp and grits was only $17 for a large plate of delicious food it was 100% worth it and more. Service was great as well, everyone was very friendly and attentive, and made great recommendations for dishes to try. Overall, one of the best dining experiences we have had in some time. If you are in Georgia and looking for a great meal in highly recommend checking this little gem out. You won't be disappointed!

First good sign: the bartender had classic bartender energy. Easy to talk to and good at what he does. Looking at the menu, I immediately noticed some French touches, including escargot, which you almost never see around here. I had to try it. It wasn't the best escargot I've ever had, but when a place in Canton is putting it on the menu, you give them credit for the effort. The real reason I came in was the oysters. I'm a big Roberto's in downtown Woodstock fan, which I consider the oyster mecca of the area. So I was curious if Canton had anything comparable. To their credit, Going Coastal actually does oysters properly. Not just the usual generic stuff. They had Murder Points, which tells me someone in the kitchen cares about quality and sourcing. I also ordered a piece of fish. They cook it to order and let you choose how you want it prepared. Some people want the chef's call, others like control. Either way, the execution was solid and the flavors worked. Bottom line: this is a good seafood spot. The best seafood option in Canton.

I reserved a table for five here for Mother's Day because we've had mostly good experiences here,…read morehaven't been in a little while, and they had both crab cake Benedict and bottomless mimosas on the prix fixe menu, two of my wife's favorite things. They were clearly understaffed, which was apparent from checking in with the hostess. The line of people waiting to check in with her caused the waiter taking desserts downstairs to have to wait up to five minutes with that tray. Once we were seated, we thought things might go better. Crab cake Benedict was the #1 choice for my wife and BIL, but the kids' menu didn't have the chicken and waffles the guy who called to confirm my reservation had mentioned. That was no problem because my kids have learned to find something to eat wherever we take them, and I ordered chicken and waffles to share with them because I love my kids and knew I would get enough food one way or another. The mimosa came in a wine glass because they had run out of flutes, which was fine by my wife, but she said they tasted heavier on the juice than on the prosecco. My waffles came out a bit burnt, but they replaced them with no problem when we pointed it out. My kids got fresh waffles, and I enjoyed the burnt ones. The chicken was one decent piece for a person, but split between my daughter and me was less than I had hoped for. Thankfully, the salad was a decent appetizer. When the crab cakes Benedict came, we were shocked to see a mess of scrambled eggs on a thin crab cake with an English muffin under. We always ask for hollandaise on the side because that sauce can go several different ways of bad, but in this instance we were genuinely confused how a benedict could come with anything other than poached eggs! The flavor was okay, but the texture and presentation left a lot to be desired. My wife only finished half of hers and didn't touch the limp fries. You can probably figure out how I made do with food in this instance. Our kids, meanwhile, devoured their food like we had starved them their whole lives, so on the plus side we didn't have to hear kids whining about food! Service was polite but very slow. I don't know that we'll be back. With the abundance of good restaurants in our area, it's going to be hard to justify returning here.
