This location has came along way since I wrote my last review. I generally eat here once a month or every other month. Lately I've been enjoying the Bardi Alaskan Crab, which just happens to be in season right now. You also can't go wrong with the coconut shrimp, Garlic shrimp scampi, or a top shelf Lobsterita. Overall Service has been very good the last 10 visits or so. I always request Veronica if she happens to be working. She's one of the best servers I've ever had the opportunity to experience at any restaurant I've been to, whether in Casper or anywhere else. She has a way about predicting or anticipating your needs and brings you what you require before you even have a chance to ask. This location is always super clean, and never so busy that you can't get right in. The only problems I've had in my last 10 to 12 visits is they've had problems keeping a steady bartender and sometimes my cocktails are either made weak or wrong or missing garnishes. If I could leave less than one star I would. We arrived at 3:30 PM . We stood in the lobby for several minutes with no one attending the front desk. There was one other group in the restaurant. It took 20 minutes for us to be able to place our order and that was after I asked the host to take our order. He rudely responded just a minute and turned to resume visiting with another employee. After we ordered it took approximately 20 minutes to receive our order. Food portions were quite small. I ordered the lobster flatbread and there were about 4 flakes of lobster meat on it. For $16.99 there should have been large pieces of lobster on it. A whole 1 lb lobster is $35. Won't be returning. read more

I made reservations for 3 adults & one kiddo, and would need a highchair. When I arrived, I told them about the reservation. I was seated - with 4 menus & no highchair. Sent back 2 sets of cutlery, as they were filthy. Had to ask for more biscuits (grandson was a complete fan) - never rec'd another basket. Who doesnt want more Cheddar Bay Biscuits!? Yep, I'm reviewing Red Lobster. Why? Because the experience was WAY better than I expected and this location in Casper, WY deserves the kudos. My husband and I were doing an overnight in the area and wanted to do something easy... and we were concerned that Red Lobster would be crazy busy. They were not and they went out of their way to make sure they were adhering to social distancing guidelines: hand sanitizer stations galore, servers maintaining a very safe distance from tables, paper menus, and everyone working there wore masks. I mean, the food was the same as most Red Lobsters. Buttery and probably more calories in a single bite than one should have in a week. That being said, I do like a good Cheddar Bay biscuit and Alaskan king crab. That and a glass of pinot grigio and it was a good meal! I have to say the 4 stars is partly because Red Lobster exceeded my (un)expectations. If I had walked in with any we'd be having a different conversation. It's a chain restaurant in a town that, as a rule, hires whoever comes to work. I've been beaten and battered to death with bad service since I moved to Casper. So I wasn't terribly surprised when our party was sat and not greeted for about 25 minutes. To be fair the final member of our party arrived shortly before that 25 min but no one had checked in or brought waters or taken a drink order. This isn't shaping up to be a 4 star review. I went up to the host stand to politely inform them that there had been an oversight on our table and from there it changed immediately. My only big complaint from this point is how we were initially greeted by our server "are you ready to order I hear you've been waiting awhile". I know we got off to a bad start but I'm paying for the full experience. I just wanted to start, not jump up the end. We ordered drinks and appetizers. The front of house manager or shift lead (?) came by to let us know they were buying our apps. That was nice of her. She even insisted we order another since they were on the house. It's a nice gesture to make up lost ground. The food was as good or better than I expected but all that stuff is usually really salty. I had the mussels as an app and ended up trying the shrimp Baja bowl. My wife had the king pao shrimp bowl. Both were fine. We're mostly plant based and eat seafood on occasion so it's a treat in general to have a few shrimps. I also understand that may not make me the target audience. I did enjoy it for what it was. Our friends who were celebrating a birthday loved it. Loved the steak which appeared to be a perfect medium rare as ordered. My friend ordered the lobster feast and was easily able to sub out the linguine for something he preferred more. If there's an an accomplished bartender in Casper you should be able to make a killing teaching the local waitstaff how to make common drinks. Any manager of any establishment please consider doing some paid training for your bartenders. Every field benefits from regular professional development and the way people make drinks is grossly inconsistent without training. It sounds like I'm complaining but most of it is directed at the low bar established in the local community. After the mistake the red lobster team rose to the occasion. At some point towards the end the proprietor(?) even came out from his busy expo window to thank us for coming in and ensure we were taken care of. Keep up the good work Red Lobster. Red Lobster - "Old fashioned" - Seafood Near Me - Casper, Wyoming

It wasn't a Rock! It was a Red Lobster! This was some quality dining! I love Red Lobster and anyone who disagrees can take a hike. I understand that they get a bad rep', being a big corporation and all, but their food is legit. The quality of their grub is unrivaled. For being in the landlocked state of Wyoming, it's impressive that the crab and lobster are fresh and haven't been frozen at all. Ever. I guess they fly them in every day? That's what I'd call some quality, tasty, tasty grub! Naturally I went with the Crabfest special. I'd just gotten out of a nine month stint in Natrona County and the entire time I was jonesing for some shellfish. I was also jonesing for other things, but I won't go into that. I think of crab meat as little sponges to absorb the butter and garlic. Cracking open a crab's shell makes me harder than a crab's shell. One of my oldest companions, Kevin Robbins, picked me up from Natrona around 6am when I was released. They don't really give you a specific time as to when you'll be released, so Kevin had to wait a while. They gave me like a 7 hour window as to when I'd be released. They like to play games with your mind in the pen. It's like it gets them off or something. Like, they get bored... and you're in a zoo and you're the exhibit and they're the zookeeper and after a while they just feel like messing with you. If you haven't heard of the Stanford Prison Experiments you should look into it. They basically took a bunch of kids and made half of them inmates and the other half guards.... As you can imagine, it didn't go well. Much akin to my experience at Natrona County. Kevin went with the Surf n' Turf! It was my treat. On any other day I'd have objected due to the price, but he'd just waited seven hours for me in the parking lot of the jail. He ordered his NY Strip medium rare, as per the chef's recommendation, and unsurprisingly it was cooked to a perfect medium rare. They've really got their stuff on lock. Supposedly they just season their steaks with salt and pepper, but we all know that's bullsh*t. Kevin got his NY strip slathered in bleu cheese and grilled red onions. It smelled okay. If I'm being completely honest, the bleu cheese smelled a little bit ripe. I'm more of a med-sharp chedd' kinda guy. I've been known to dabble with some gorgonzola from time to time, but this stuff was overly pungent to say the least. Kevin was digging it, so who was I to complain? I just didn't want my breath to smell bad for the after party. After Red Lobster we ended up at Bare Back Saloon in Rock Springs. The dancers are smoking hot, and even if they might not want to dance for you they play it off well. I've never been considered a traditionally handsome guy, so it was just nice to get that sort of attention. Especially after the situation with my ex. My ex, Natasha, used to play some insane mind games. One time I even had to call the cops on her. I won't get too into specifics, but she was in the wrong. We met on a dating site, I don't think they properly vetted her, Kevin says I might have a case against the site. That would be cool. But not as cool as cool as Crabfest at Red Lobster! When we said we had 2 adults and 3 kids the hostess made a face and sighed loudly and then informed us that with a party of 5 it would be a 40-50 minute wait. My wife and I were served lobster overcooked to extreme! Crab was rubber, shrimp cold, our garlic shrimp was in a bowl of water. The new Brussel sprout are supposed have a balsamic glaze over the top. Mine was topped with soy sauce. I had to ask if this was soy sauce to find out! We found hair all over the meals! Rant went to Red Lobster tonight we had 5 people to celebrate my sons birthday. We we all ordered I got the endless shrimp. Endlessly raw shrimp! Not once but twice and we let them know and they still charged us. The Manager was made aware and brought out a third serving and to say that I was done was an understatement! I did not get anything to eat except a salad that was not that great either. After eating two shrimp that were raw my stomach was upset . So I got my receipt and pulled off the call General Manager section. When I called it was that Resterant and the GM had gone home, so they said I could talk to a manager. She got on and I said we were just in there and served raw food and I was charged for it... she said well you left to fast so I did not have time to adjust your check I said well my husband is still in there paying so get over there and fix it. My family is driving cross country and decided to stop here on a whim, but I would love to stop here again in the future! The staff was amazing, they were great to talk to and our server was very attentive, and helped us out, even with our special requests. The food was great too!!! We stopped at a Texas road house the night before, I had gotten the exact same order, a filet mignon with a salad and mash potatoes. They're food was way better then Texas roadhouse's! We did, but they didn't plan tables, so we had to stand in the lobby with our group of elderly people from church for 40 minutes waiting for walk in guests to finish their meals. I am writing this review for my mom who visited here during the Endless Shrimp promotion this past fall. My mom was so disappointed in the meal and will never be back here again nor recommend this location. The shrimp she ordered was half frozen and when she told her waitress the only comment she got was that they could take it back to the kitchen and cook it some more. The shrimp should have not been frozen to begin with, and my mom asked to speak with the manager but the waitress never got her. As far as my personal experience, my husband and I eat at Red Lobster in South Dakota, and it is delicious. It is probably just this location so if I were you I would pass on this Red Lobster and go somewhere else. There are better restaurants to eat at in Casper! read more

I went to Red Lobster tonight, with my family (a party of 9). The service was a little slow at the beginning but picked up after our drinks were ordered, a 20 minute wait for ordering I'd say. The environment here is very over-stimulating, with loud music you can barely here table conversations. The plates that the food is served on are very large and with all the other plates that are placed on the table, there is no elbow room. And we'll I know it is a simple mistake that many restaurants make one of our silver wear sets was not in condition to be eaten off of. I will say that although the service was slow our server did a great job and was very engaging, but not to the point were it was over excessive. Some of things we ordered were the ultimate feast, fish and chips, and coconut shrimp. The ultimate feast was a treat, there were many different pieces of the meal, but with this the lobster was undercooked. The fish and chips, is not what I would call the meal given to us there was barely any fish inside (but they explained that there have been lots of complaints on this and took it of our check.) This is a great restaurant but not for the price that is offered. read more

Our server was infrequently seem in our section near the bar and when it came time to order desert he was nowhere to be found. If he had come a minute later I would have just asked for the check and went to Dairy Queen for a Blizzard. On the flip side, our food was very good and even my steak was cooked just right (that is not always the case at this restaurant). Where to begin...Walk in to dozens of empty tables and when we asked if we could sit in the bar the hostess said "we still have to seat you" and proceeded to take 10 minutes before seating us. When we sat down the server was VERY nice and quick to greet us, which was nice. Unfortunately she did not bring the biscuits she promised the first (second, third, or fourth time) she was asked. Someone else dropped our food and we asked her for biscuits and she didnt bring any either. Three of us ordered half order Alfredo's, one received what looked like a full order, one was about half that much, and mine was nearly half that. Once finished we again asked for biscuits since other servers were carrying full bread baskets, and we were told they were gone but more would be ready in 5-10 minutes. This was completely less than a satisfactory experience. Additionally, my friend asked for a drink with less ice (after his first one was all ice for $7) and the bartender said "if I make this with less ice it'll taste like s*^t, but if you're up for that, whatever." We enjoyed a delicious lunch as we celebrated our anniversary. We were told the restaurant was short-staffed that day, but you'd have never known it as the servers were prompt, courteous and very attentive. We asked to be moved from our first table (at the entrance to the kitchen) and were graciously seated near a window in a quiet section of the restaurant. Kimberly was our server, and she went above and beyond to be sure our meal was as we'd ordered and expected. Our glasses were never empty, and the food was hot and delicious. You're going for the Endless Shrimp don't bother. It is pretty bad when the green beans and rolls are better than the shrimp, especially when Red Lobster is supposed to "seafood differently". They definitely see food differently than I do! The shrimp scampi was obviously frozen in the shape of the serving container, then slid into the container and put in a convection oven (probably) with a little bit of butter on top. The sauce was watery and the shrimp were stuck together and rubbery. The manager apologized and agreed that they were frozen "in place", but except for asking if there was anything else she could bring me, did nothing. read more
