I went last Friday 9/9/16 which is the day before my birthday and my best friend decided to take me out to eat. We went in and were seated right away. Our waitress was fantastic. She always made sure we had drinks and fresh biscuits. We asked her what she thought was the best thing on the menu and she told us that they had the endless shrimp. My friend got that because he was wanting shrimp. Then she told us that the sirloin and shrimp was very good as well so that's what I ordered. They came out right after we finished our appetizer, which was fantastic, and my steak was exactly how I wanted it and my friend said that his shrimp Alfredo was amazing. Our waitress waitress was so nice and she was honestly the best waitress I've had anywhere in a long time. The service here was terrible. Waited forever for service, and granted we were close to close. About an hour and a half before close. Yet he still let my friend order unlimited shrimp. And the told him when it was brought out that he couldn't get anymore the kitchen was closing. Sad. read more

My husband and I love fresh seafood but I don't know if I'd classify what RL serves as fresh seafood. We've eaten at the Southridge RL several times and sadly each time we go it's a little more disappointing. Probably the best dish I've eaten there in the last few months was the Dragon Broccoli, it was delicious! My husband ordered a lobster tail and it was very disappointing. Only about 3 inches long and over cooked, very hard to enjoy. The floor is always dirty, like they've just had a food fight. And crabfest!? Crabfest is a joke. I've had delicious Maryland style crab cakes and theirs aren't even close. read more

Usually not the worse experience in Charleston until this evening. A very slow evening in my opinion for a Thursday. We sat at the bar to order an appetizer & beverage. Upon arrival a spill & leftover paper products were noted on the bar which influenced our seat choice. The bartender/server dropped & broke a glass in front of us while the cooler was open. I've seen this happen before at other restaurants & they immediately close & clean said appliance. Not here, he made a joke and took our order. For the entire visit the bar area remained in poor condition (see photos). With hopes of grasping an understanding of the situation and prior to paying I asked the server who we dealt with the entire time, "what would you do?" He replied with, "well if it bothered you that much, you should of said something, I've been in the back cleaning the coolers, we were slammed yesterday. You want me to clean it off now?" Mind you we had a to go box & receipt in hand. I guess his way of handling such a situation would of reflected poorly with his management ‍? After avoiding Red Lobster for over a year due to one of the worst dining experiences ever at a RL in Dover DE we decided to give this one a try. We arrived around 3pm on a Saturday thinking we would slip in between lunch and dinner but still had a 35min wait. We decided to wait and we are so glad we did!!! Our waiter, Daniel, should change his name to Johnny On The Spot. We didn't have to ask for refills or more biscuits. The salads were fresh and abundant. The only bad day I had was when I went on my birthday 1 23 2015 and the crab was cooked to long and so was my boyfriends lobster. Several tables were empty even though we waited 20-30 minutes after we arrived. Waiter was good, food was good but waited 55+ minutes for food after receiving salad. Others were waiting also. It was like there was no movement from the kitchen. read more

At first we were seated beside the kitchen and bathroom, passing many empty tables, some still with the previous diners' plates. (I went the the restroom after my meal and those same tables still had the same dishes on them.) We asked to be moved because of all the normal noises of a restaurant kitchen. We were seated in a booth the server was just finishing cleaning. That server apologized for the mess. She then said, "People complain about the mess, but I didn't make it!" She brought our sodas and cold biscuits. Took our orders. Brought out our orders. Didn't check back with us for a good 15 minutes. When I asked for hot fries (which were cold when she first brought them out) she laughed at me, then brought back undercooked fries. Still waited even longer to check on us. The blackened salmon had waaay to much seasoning as did the tilapia. The salmon was barely cooked enough. The corn and mashed potatoes were good. Crab legs good. Chocolate wave dessert excellent. There was constant dust falling from the overhead lamp. The manager, Greg, came by and got us drink refills. He made the situation better, and we left happy diners. read more

I stopped there for a light lunch. I ordered the lobster bisque and a lobster roll. The bisque was terribly salty, but flavorable. The lobster roll, appetizer size, was like eating rocks in a bun with a tiny bit of lobster flavor. The tiny chunks were cooked until they were very hard and there was very little of them on the bun. Hey, it's just a Red Lobster like all the rest, but it's well managed and features very good service and consistent quality seafood.

Ate here last night. Our waitress was professional and provided great service. No complaints there. Prices are what I expected. Food was of decent quality. The atmosphere was lacking, however. For the hour or so that we were there, two adjacent tables remained uncleaned. There were visible cleaning products resting on the back of our booth. When a plate was removed from our table, it wasn't brought to the back. It was placed on the adjacent tables. It felt like I was eating in a closet or something. read more

Nothing to special about this place I can make better seafood at home if you want the biscuits they sell the mix at your local SAMs place.

Had an amazing experience here! As always the biscuits were awesome, but our waitress was over the top. It has been a long time since I had a waitress be so attentive. We did have one small issue that we brought to our waitresses attention, not only did she fix it immediately, but the manager, Greg, also stopped by to check up which showed that they cared.
