Not the worst food, but not the best. I think the best way to put it is what someone at the table next to me said. She told her parents she likes seafood, so that's why she won't order it at Red Lobster. I think that's fair. Yes you can get seafood here, but to really enjoy it, they douse it with sauce or fry it. Fresh fish really shines when it is minimally processed, so that's not what you get here. I got the stuffed flounder, because I knew it would come covered in a butter sauce. You can see in the picture that it is absolutely drenched. That made it taste pretty good. I got cole slaw to balance it out and the cole slaw was good. My husband got shrimp scampi and crispy green beans. Turns out crispy green beans are fried! It was funny when it came out, because that was unexpected (he didn't read the description). It was heavily fried so I wouldn't recommend it. I do love their cheddar biscuits. It's perfectly salted. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Five stars for Mark. I do like the ambiance, it reminds me of New England, lots of dark wood and there are live lobsters in the tank at the front.

Food was delicious service is good but the waiter was loud the ambiance was comfy (THEY GOT RID OF THE CHECK OUTS AT THE TABLES)

Not sure why this place has such terrible reviews, we had an EXCELLENT experience when we went last month. The service was phenomenal--I mean, the waiter made a note to pace our meal and make sure he brought out our food when it was fresh. We ordered the calamari and coconut shrimp and both were FANTASTIC--piping hot, excellent fry, the coconut shrimp had a great snap and a delicious creamy coconut dipping sauce. For mains, we split the New Orleans style salmon (added scallops) and had a side of crispy brussel sprouts--loved it all. Key lime pie and cheesecake to-go! Best part was we went on a Friday night and didn't have to wait at all! The restaurant was clean and great vibes all around.

When I say SUPERBBBBBBBBB service. We had a server and a server In training. We were a party of 5 and everything that we asked for, they brought with a sense of urgency and made sure that our needs were attended to. My fiancé asked abou the sweet chili shrimp that wasn't on the menu and the server said that they could whip it up. What they brought out wasn't it so he took it back. Next ten minutes, here comes the manager Leann who personally whipped up the dish to perfection. This team really went the extra mile to make the experience a memorable one.

We had fantastic customer service. Ryan was awesome and he check on us at appropriate time to make sure we got what we needed. I would recommend going to South Charleston West Virginia for great service and good unlimited shrimp before it is ends.

    Cajun Chicken Linguini Alfredo (Full)

Service was great. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. Cheddar biscuits were fantastic as always. Lots of garlic and little gooey cheese bits throughout. The Cajun chicken Alfredo was meh. The chicken itself had a good flavor and was tender, but the linguini Alfredo left a lot to be desired. The noodles where overdone and soft. The texture reminds canned chicken noodle soup noodles. The Alfredo had almost no flavor, which is sad considering Red Lobster is owned by the same parent company as Olive Garden. For the price, I would pass and go to Crepizza across the road or Bricks and Barrels in Charleston.

A newer model Red Lobster compared to other Red Lobsters I have visited. Good food, friendly staff.

Nothing to special about this place I can make better seafood at home if you want the biscuits they sell the mix at your local SAMs place.

My margarita was not good at all. So bad that I didn't even drink more than half which is just a sin when it comes to expensive cocktails. My husband's chicken sandwich had about as much chicken as a tiny tender strip. He left hungry. I had the steak special. Which had good flavors (as anything covered in cheese would) but if I'm paying $60 for a medium rare steak, it's a shame that it came out medium well. Roasted cauliflower was mid, I make better at home in my air fryer. Service was good but the waitress was pretty pushy with the extras like we were insane for not ordering appetizers and not letting her bring us a glass of 4 roses. Ambiance was fine. But the experience was not worth my money, not even if it was half the cost honestly.

The bar staff was outstanding from start to finish. We had a few different bartenders taking care of us, and each one was attentive, friendly, and great at helping with recommendations. We ordered the New York steak and the Brussels sprouts special. The steak was cooked to a perfect medium, and the Brussels sprouts hit that ideal balance--crispy, flavorful, and just right. Everything we had was packed with flavor. The drinks didn't miss either--ice-cold beer and expertly crafted cocktails all around. If you find yourself in Charleston, this spot is absolutely worth a visit. Highly recommend.

The food felt legitimately high quality, like they're putting real care into the ingredients and preparation. I ordered the steak, and it was flavorful with a really good garlic butter that complemented it perfectly. Juicy, well-seasoned, and cooked just how I wanted. The loaded fries were excellent too (maybe a touch salty, but in that addictive way), and they came with this awesome ranch that tied everything together. I got the half order, and let me tell you, it was massive. Easily enough for 3-4 people to share. The mac and cheese was solid as well, creamy and comforting without being over the top. What surprised me most was the value. For the caliber of food and the portions they're serving, the prices were very reasonable. Honestly better than I expected for something this good. Service was on par, if not a bit more professional than you'd usually find at a casual spot like this. Everyone was attentive without being pushy, and it made the whole meal feel smooth. Overall, I'm excited they're here. The Fort feels like a welcome addition. Solid execution on the basics, generous portions, and a vibe that makes you want to come back. If you're in the Charleston area and looking for a good meal without breaking the bank, definitely give it a try. I'll be returning soon. Highly recommended!
