    Side Classic Caesar Salad

Wonderful dining experience. After many hours of traveling, we appreciated finding this old favorite restaurant in Columbia. Located with easy access the highway and plenty of parking, it made for a welcome break from the usual fast food places near the interstate. The side Cesar was delicious. The coconut shrimp were a good selection. The building was cool on a very warm day. Our food did arrive in good time after giving our order, but there was a bit of a wait for our order to be taken. accessible bathrooms, parking, tables and entry.

I ordered, on DoorDash, the Signature Seafood Mushrooms, and the Lobster Shrimp and Salmon from Red Lobster in Columbia, MO. The mushrooms were watery. The hush puppies were slightly larger than an inch in diameter. The biscuits were slightly larger than 2 inches in diameter. This "meal" was definitely NOT worth wasting $63.87 on it.

I was traveling in the area for work and decided to stop by to try the new lobster and shrimp tacos as they were being advertised. I went in the evening on a week day and it wasn't too busy. I love the decor inside, it's definitely aesthetically pleasing! Probably the best looking Red Lobster I've eaten at! I received three lobster and shrimp tacos in an order. The tacos did not come with a side. As a result, I ordered a side of well-done fries (only way to order fries). The tacos were not flavorful at all and I could not taste the lobster! The fries were good though and my server was great!

Walked in for a early dinner on Saturday to see 4-people trying to figure out the front hostess computer. Not one person greeted us, did not look at us nor pay any attention for about 3-5 minutes. Would have walked out and should have but my 89 year old father had gift certificates to use up. Upon waiting to be seated, I noticed how dirty the sanitizer stations were extremely dirty and had visible dirt in the tray. The computer station in the front was dusty and also had visible filth. Again, wanted to walk out. But dad really wanted his favorite Coconut Shrimp, so we waited. Only 5* great review was for Amanda our server! She made our terrible dining/food experience fabulous! We ordered 2-shrimp skewers meals that came with rice pilaf that was undercooked and flavorless. The shrimp was slightly undercooked and did not taste good, no flavor. Only edible item on my plate was the baked potato which was over cooked but the sour cream, cheese, bacon and chives were an added bonus. Dad's Coconut Shrimp was over cooked and too toasted. The shrimp was dry. We will not return as this place needs a conplete detailed cleaning and customer service training! We did not complain about the food as we felt there was nothing they could do to make it right. Properly trained restaurant Management is recommended!

Great service, creamy lobster bisque, spicy chili shrimp, and of course, the biscuits!

Our server was very pleasant, but slow to get orders and never refilled our drinks. The restaurant was well decorated, clean and had a chill vibe. I would go back as the food was good, and hopefully the server was just having a rough day. I had the pesto tortellini. It was very good, and the portion size was very big. It would have been nice to have a piece of bread or a salad with it. My son got a chicken sandwich with fries and it was very good you said. The fries were tasty.

My drink had a rose petal in it, but that little touch didn't feel contrived or cheeky - it was just a nice pop of color in a great-tasting drink. The baked Boursin cheese was absolutely amazing - I walked out of there realizing I probably ate half a wheel of cheese, and I totally didn't regret it. Dinner was the highlight - I ordered the boom boom shrimp - served on a bed of sushi rice, there were mangos, thinly sliced jalapeños, purple cabbage, shrimp fried to perfection, and a nicely flavored boom boom sauce on top. My only criticism of this place is that plates come out of the kitchen as they make them, so be prepared to share a dish or wait. We were halfway through my dinner before my friend's fish and chips arrived. I'm happy to share, but I'm not a fan of this dining trend. Overall fantastic dinner experience!!

It was a beautiful early June afternoon when I visited here with my mudder and my brudder. We threw 'em back together, chatting, laughing and oft pausing to remark on just how great this place is. Do I remember what beers I tried in my flight? Absolutely the freak not. I do remember splishing & splashing them all over the floor as I gracefully exited the bar, though. While I can't name the brews I tried, I know I liked em all a pretty ! good ! bit ! and utterly j'adored sitting and savoring them on the balcony. Salud, Longboat Brewing! You could also order soda and regular mixed cocktails. Please note that they do not serve any food. You can bring in your own and they do have food trucks usually on the weekends. There was a barbecue truck when I visited. It's a fun and relaxing spot to have a few beverages, chat with friends or watch the game.

Things started out well, the BF had a tasty Manhattan and I had a mocktail that was subtle and delicious, and not overpriced as mocktails often are. But alas. The house salads that we ordered were overdressed in a vinaigrette so acidic we couldn't finish them. And there wasn't much to them. Other than greens and fried shallots and pickled red onions, there was a tiny dusting of some finely grated cheese. And who needs two kinds of onions and nothing else on the salad? Then we each had a bowl of the matzo ball soup, which was ridiculous. Three matzo balls sitting in a quarter-inch of broth that was so unbelievably salty that we couldn't eat that either. We ended up asking for hot water to dilute the broth to a level of saltiness that was edible. The chicken was okay and the matzo balls were okay. A little gummy. But the broth was just awful. It all made me wonder if the chef had lost their sense of taste due to Covid or something. Seriously. I've had that happen to me a couple of times and all I could taste was really basic stuff like sour and salt. And our waitress was totally uninterested in trying to make our experience better. She wasn't rude, she was just indifferent to the fact that we'd been served two courses that we absolutely couldn't eat. Didn't offer us anything to compensate or even express any sympathy about it. We got out of there as fast as we could and made ourselves feel better with an Andy's frozen custard.
