I could eat red lobster everyday because I love seafood. And for a chain restaurant, these guys do a pretty good job. Today I ordered the Lobster, Salmon and Shrimp trio (I forgot the actual name) but it was delicious!!! That lobster was sweet and yummy!!! Not bad for $29 read more

My entire family ate here today. There was something wrong with everyone's food. Red Lobster's quality has really gone down. Salad was skimpy. My daughters steak had to be sent back twice because it was rare. They regrilled it covered in A-1 and brought it back to us with the charred A-1. Then we were told that we didn't request a new one. They did finally get it right but by that time the rest of us were finished eating so my daughter didn't get to eat with us. However, They did take it off the check. Salmon was dried out. Mac and cheese was dried out. Coleslaw was fermented. Very frustrating when you pay such elevated prices. read more

I had the 12 oz sirloin with a 10-oz lobster tail on the side, and my girlfriend and me both had a side Caesar salad. Service was excellent, couldn't have asked for a better server. Girlfriend's salad had the corner of a dope baggie in it, and my "10-oz" lobster tail looked like it had been cut off the rear end of a spider; not even 2 good bites. Made and paid 20$ for a to-go order of 2 warm pieces of chocolate cake with ice cream and hot fudge and cutlery included with order according to the website and menu. What I received was 2 cold pieces if chocolate cake that's it no ice cream no fudge and no cutlery. I call the restaurant and speak to the server who's response was they were about to close but I could come back by for a scoop of ice cream. A scoop of ice cream for my cold cake. No apology and when I offered to bring the cake back the next day because they were about to close that night I could get a refund. So now I get to go out of my way for her mistake if I want my money back for what I paid for but didn't get. read more

Great staff, very nice and thoughtful. Our host brought my wife an ice cream for her birthday even though it was several weeks after her birthday. I believe her was Cat, or something close. I'm horrible with names but will never forget how nice she was to us. Drinks were always filled and plates removed. The tables and bathrooms were very clean and the food was wonderful! read more

I will always love going to the Red Lobster in Cookeville. The customer service is OUTSTANDING and the staff really does try to serve you in any way. I went to pick up lunch for a coworker and I at Red Lobster today and I had left my card at the restaurant. The General Manager Butch went above and beyond to get a hold of me to make sure I got my card back! I'm so thankful for Butch and his entire team for being so sweet and caring! read more

Updated review: Had a much better experience this visit; ordered the platter with lobster, fried shrimp, shrimp scampi, and crab legs. All were tasty and cooked well, with a generous portion of crab legs. The salad seems to have declined a bit in quality; just seems to be a bagged salad blend now, but it was fresh, so no major complaints. Based on this and my other visits, it seems to me that lunch time is a better time to visit. Service was good as always. read more

The service - uh, Steve listen up here; Steve was sullen, not friendly, not smiling, not happy that was about to put money in his pocket. Not once was I offered a refill on my water, I was not offered dessert; and to make it completely offensive, Steve put my bill on the table at the EXACT SAME TIME that he sat my food in front of me, with "I can take that any time you are ready." Wow! This wasn't normal! This was our Best Time Ever in this franchise. Butch Curtindale, G.M. Runs one tight ship, never skipping on the least minute detail at all. Seemed like everyone there welcomed us as though we were the most important folks in their day. Our server, Sean, was both as knowledgeable as he was empathic to our dining tastes. His recommendations were spot on. Do try their Calamari too! Not removed from a frozen box like from the local supermarket. I reveled in what my family calls seafood surprise. Linguine with lobster, sea scallops, tons of shrimp and...an ocean of FRESH mussels to top it off. I did have to ask for some Parmesan cheese, but he then brought me a bowl of freshly shaved cheese! I had a bad experience with this location Cookeville Tn. in August of 2016 but did not know it until February 2017, let me explain, in August we dined at this location when paying our bill we gave the waitress a $50 gift card the waitress rang up the ticket and showed a $13.50 balance on the card and gave us the receipt showing the balance, in February we dined at a different location Oak Ridge Tn. and the waitress told us the card had no balance, the Manager at that location called in and found that all $50 was used on the card and that I need to call the manager at Cookeville so when I got home I called the the manager and told him the story, and he sent me a gift card for $15 so the bad experience turn out to be a OK experience, the waitress no longer works at this location but she got a $13.50 Tip pulse what I left on the table as a 20% tip. so that is a way for a dishonest wait staff to make more money, I don't know how this can be corrected but yes I would go back to this location in a heartbeat, good food, great Manager that gave me a refund after 6 months, by the way the food is great Billy Gibson Rockwood Tennessee read more

Had a great time with some of my family after a wedding. Got seated right away and our waiter, I believe his name was Paul (sorry I'm usually better with names) was great. Every time I eat here I love myself for it. The food is always good. The service is always great. I love the promotional dishes such as crab fest, lobster fest or shrimp fest. It's all so good. After getting home with a lobster taco take home meal, I discovered that there were no sauce nor was there any peco di gio I called store 731 in Cookeville Tn. and a Miss Sheila answered and was so nice. She went the extra mile by delivering me the items herself, I have never in my lifetime ever had a restaurant to go that extra mile, I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS STORE LOCATION 731 I had eaten there once or twice but now it will be a regular eating place for me and my friends.
