Last night was the second time we have tried this location. The first time was a year ago and we walked out before being seated because they said there was a 20 minute wait. There was only 2 other customers there at the time. So , last night, our waiter was super great, very friendly even though he seemed to have a large section. I probably would have given only 2 stars if it weren't for the waiter. The music was very loud and was some rock/ pop combo , not my idea of dinner, making it hard to have normal level conversation. Because of this the people on both sides of us were talking extremely loud. The food, my husband had lobster tail, salmon and shrimp, which he enjoyed. The serving size seemed very small. His side of sweet potato casserole looked great in the menu picture but a mess at our table , husband said it tasted very good though. My food , I had the maple glaze chicken (I don't care for seafood, husband loves it). The chicken was very good , the 12 fries very good also - yes 12 fries. The broccoli , which there was a huge serving of , should have been thrown out not served. Brownish and mushy...yum. So , overall it was just ok. read more

This restaurant is just ok. Service is a little slow. Food is ok. I had broccoli as a side and it looked like it had seen better days. My husband ordered the tomato mozzarella caprese and got the nasty broccoli instead. I had the peppercorn steak and shrimp. The steak was a little too peppery but tasted good. The shrimp was good. Third time having an issue a carry out order. First two times they brought my bags out to the car and I left without everything in my order (my fault for not checking). Yesterday I ordered a large meal for my husbands birthday. This time I dug through the bag to make sure everything was there. I had ordered a family meal with two servings of grilled shrimp and one order of coconut shrimp. There were less grilled shrimp than coconut shrimp. I've ordered this exact same meal a few times before and I knew they had missed the second order of grilled shrimp. I called to speak to someone and was promptly told I was wrong (I wasn't). There was not enough shrimp in my order for 4 people. Additionally they put the grilled shrimp in the same pan as the coconut shrimp- so with the juice from the grilled shrimp running in the bottom of the pan- the coconut shrimp was completely soggy by the time I got home. To top it off, I had ordered a whole cheesecake to be served with dinner (as the birthday cake)...I left it out on the counter for two hours after we had finished eating- and it was still completely frozen. I had placed this order at 10 am for a 5pm pick up, so it wasn't as if they didn't have enough time to thaw it....very disappointed to say the least....spent $140 on this meal and it was regrettable, I'll definitely think twice before I spend my money there again. read more

Was told we had to take a table because there were no booths and that the half of the restaurant that was empty wasn't open yet. There were two tables in the open area and that's what they had. Then the couple behind us said they wanted a booth and were taken to the closed area. Then when we were seated a lady took our drink order and 4 other people came to get my drink order and it was 10 minuets before I got my drink. Then I was told I couldn't substitute an item and that just bothers me. I'm the customer and if I say I don't care if I have to pay extra just make it happen don't tell me no. The kitchen here needs new management! I have eaten here twice (and will not again), and both times the food took too long to arrive. Tonight, I ordered the crusted tilapia and my kids each got popcorn shrimp....25 minutes. The place was almost empty. I asked my server what took so long and he said poor teamwork. My visit was on a bustling Saturday afternoon. My party of two had about a 15 minute wait. The only drawback was the lack of seating in the waiting area, which is very small and caused me to have to stand in the doorway and dodge traffic coming in and out. The "onion rings" were mostly charred breading and very greasy. They are of the straw variety and must be avoided at all costs. This was served with the delicious cheddar biscuits. We had to wait several minutes to catch a waiter to provide us with silverware before we could enjoy our appetizers, as they were not already provided as is the normal in any restaurant. The waiter apologized and was attentive the rest of the visit. The Crab legs were adequate. The boil consisted of a tiny ear of corn, some small potatoes, some scallops, and the tiniest of shrimp in an overpowering garlic butter sauce that was nearly slimy. At 20 bucks a boil, I expected more of a portion, but this is probably the norm for a busy corporate seafood experience. It was nothing egregious, just underwhelming and overpriced. Meh. We went to this Red Lobster to celebrate my little cousin's birthday, the wait was horrible and the tables they were waiting on to seat us, they hostess ended up giving away to a school buss full of kiddos that decided to split up. Sunday after church is a hard time to go to any restaurant in our area, but we decided to give this one a shot since we didn't arrive until late for the after-church crowd. Big mistake! Turned out that 4 servers had called off work & those responsible enough to show up were handling twice the usual amount of tables. The big delay was being seated; 45 minutes from the time we walked in the door before our order was taken! Once it arrived, the food was absolutely delicious, & our server was almost running from one table to another & back & forth to the kitchen. I must say that we were impressed by the teamwork exhibited by the workers that day. Every server pitched in to grab drinks, condiments, etc. for each other. The manager was helping clean tables, bring items to tables, & calming upset customers. In spite of her rushing, our server was friendly & attentive. I have heard many employers in our area bemoaning the lack of qualified, reliable workers & I suspect Red Lobster is suffering from the same malady. If you have time to visit & aren't too hungry, this is a great place to go. Hopefully, before long, they will find responsible employees & the timing will be as good as the food. read more

We went there on a Wednesday night. We waited over 20 minutes even though there were not very many people in the restaurant. We waited about 20 minutes for our food, which was not good. The shrimp used in my husband's Alfredo dish looked like the tiny cheap shrimp you can buy in the frozen section at grocery stores. The server was absolutely horrible. He never refilled our drinks or even checked on us once. After waiting 10 minutes for our bill I finally had to flag down the manager (very pleasant guy and the only positive of the night) so that we could finally leave. Please reread my first sentence which states, "I ORDERED AT 6PM"! I asked about the refund he told me 4-5 days to refund with no compensation for the inconvenience, just a bs apology. I asked for the managers contact information and Flynn gave me his card. At first he responded now he is quiet as a ghost and as of today I still HAVE NOT BERN REFUNDED AND ITS BEEN 10 DAYS! This is so unacceptable, terrible business, and atrocious customer service. Since Red Lobster seems to not want to refund my money, even though I got zero food I will now be disputing the charge with my bank and leaving this review on all of their platforms to make customers aware. Someone once told me this was the best place in town. The lie detector test proved that was a lie! However, tonight was my first time eating here. The good news: a rather short wait on a Friday night, a very pleasant and attentive waiter named Larry, and the food was pretty good and hit the spot for sure. My only cons this trip were the fact that our 27.99 dinner came with a bagged iceberg lettuce salad with some grape tomatoes thrown in. (The dressing was fab, though) I just think this may be a kentucky thing because not many kentuckians like spring greens??? I'm not sure. I don't like it. Maybe the new seafood place down the road has spring greens, who knows. Also probably doesn't have kids standing in their chairs acting a fool. That would have been nice. Not the restaurants fault on that little treat, though. And I do have to say the hostess seemed a little rude when I asked that we sit in a booth instead of a table, which was just cleaned anyway. No biggie right? I didn't think so. Most laxidazial hostess I've ever had, but I guess if that's who you want your customers to be greeted by, then sure whatever. We just had an excellent dinner at this location. There was crab legs on one plate and baked fish on the other and both were excellent. had the clam chowder before the entree. The chowder could be a little thicker and laced with more clams. Had the salad which was crisp and fresh. Service was excellent and this was a dinner special, three course meal.
