    The ultimate feast !!!
    Missy D.

I always go to this location at red lobster. The food is always fresh and delicious. There's no red lobster where I live so I always cross the bridge to Jersey to get here. I try to come once a month. I always get the ultimate feast. It's so good

The food wasn't bad--Cajun-flavored crabs were actually quite good, and our server was friendly and did a great job. However, we came specifically for the crab fest, and they had no crab crackers available. It was incredibly frustrating trying to eat crabs without the proper utensils. To be fair, our server did let us know in advance, but it's disappointing that a restaurant promoting a crab fest wouldn't be properly equipped for it. That's a management issue--one that reflects poorly on the chain and could very well put them on the same path as TGIF if basic details like this continue to be overlooked.

The server was very good but this bogo even with a bogo is not really worth $20. Well if you did stuff yo face shrinks it's priced about $25 let say so anyway. Yeah this is what it is. The server was good; attentive and gave me a lot of lemons on my water yoooo. Super nice and friendly server. But the portion for this bogo is not super great.

    Endless Shrimp

Came to try the $22 endless shrimp. They should rename it to endless wait. It's ACYE shrimp 7 ways. Pick 3 for the first round, and then pick 1 every round after. The first round also comes with a side. They unfortunately ran out of the "Dragon Shrimp" today. The food itself was good, but we had to wait 20-30 minutes between rounds because the kitchen was so dang slow. The dinner ended up taking 2.5 hours. Ya girl was falling asleep. Our server acknowledged the long wait, but didn't offer anything to make up for it. An extra side would have been a nice gesture. SIDE NOTE: I'm annoyed that the server didn't tell us that the skewers come with rice each time you order it. When she asked us what side we wanted for round 1, she should've let us know that we were already getting rice. That way, we can pick a different side. It's the little things, you know?

There's nothing I appreciate more than exceptional customer service. Mary is the best. She's attentive, has a fantastic balance of knowing when we need something and when we wanna relax and eat and as a smile that lights up the room if you're having a bad day go to Red Lobster and ask for Mary.

We* Love Red Lobster PERIODT We go to Red Lobster because it's Red Lobster We will not let her go !! Food quality and service are like waves in the ocean or phases of the moon ( they wax and wane ) sometimes it's great ; sometimes it's not ( so what). It's a relationship ! Our customer/server relationship with RL transcends any one restaurant visit or period of time. Would you send your dog to the pound just because he/she was in a slump ? NO! You would give her more attention, play more frequently, and offer him a balanced diet consisting of diverse grains and butcher selected meats - Thanking her consistently for her service and presence. We must also show attention and gratitude to RL who has always been there for us ( Sunday afternoons-post church , following a special event , or just because! ) RL offers a classy seafood dining experience that is within reach for the average 21st century North American budget. If you don't like it, stay home and eat peanut butter and jelly, but if you enjoy dining on fine Langostinos, I'll see you at your Neighborhood RL ( if your neighborhood does not have a RL , FIND ANOTHER NEIGHBORHOOD) * We = landlubbers

I get that it's Red Lobster, but they could step it up better. Gross menu, gross margarita. The rest of the food was typical mediocre Red Lobster. I will say our server was nice and attentive. Ambiance was not clean feeling.

Garlic sauce from the shrimp scampi
    Tunisia S.

I've been to this red lobsters plenty of times in my life. Always have had a pleasant experience. During this trip I had a taste for the garlic sauce they cook the shrimp scamp in but I also wanted Alfredo pasta. So, I ordered the grilled chicken(or it may have been Cajun chicken) and linguini in a cream/Alfredo sauce. I asked for a side of the garlic sauce that the scampi is cooked in and the Waite said she'd see if she could get it and didn't think it would be an issue. Well, she got it and it gave the food such a nice kick! I loved it! A nice size portion along with a side of broccoli and biscuits. My biscuits were nice and warm. And the strawberry lemonade I ordered hit the spot. Go here! This is one of the good Red Lobsters.

Service!!!!! The service here was aaaaaamazing. Ask for Dijon, like the Provence in France:) lol. he was amazing. Very attentive. Food was delicious per usual. I had my fav the ultimate feast. They really need to change the fried shrimp though to something else. Or mix it up a bit. Place smelled a bit like chloroform but in covid times that's maybe a great thing because you know theyre cleannnn!!! Lol. No bad things to say here. Great service. Great food. Good vibes.

I had a couple of coupons to use so figured I would get dinner. When I arrived I parked in the lot. I walked in and was greeted and decided to sit at the bar. Taquasia was my bartender and she was nice and attentive and I started with a drink of red sangria which I was not a fan of so went with the pinot nior instead. I ordered 2 appetizers of the crab stuffed shrimp and mussels which I had free coupons for. When the food came out it looked good. I dug in and wasn't a fan for the stuffed shrimp but the mussels weren't bad. I had a decent experience.

Shrimp Your Way I ordered the 3: popcorn shrimp, scampi and grilled shrimp on a bed of rice and a baked potato and a water with extra lemon

I am still disappointed by the lack of response from the corporate office on this matter, but the Edison location was extremely helpful in resolving my issue. Initial review: My wife and I have been going to True Food Kitchen for a while now, and really enjoy their healthy food options, but their recent lack of customer service is very disappointing. We recently purchased a gift card for True Food Kitchen but when we had problems with it, the local restaurant wasn't able to do anything. We reached out to the company they parner with for the gift cards, who told us to reach out to corporate. I left two voicemails with True Food corporate with no response, in addition to leaving email with no response either. I would appreciate it even if they couldn't do anything that they would at least get back to us and let us know that, but nothing. I commend True Food for offering such healthy eating options for people but without good customer service, I can't see it really lasting for long.

NOTE: Be very careful about using any dining credits from Open Table here. I saved up points for like a year and got a measly $16. When deciding on which restaurant to choose for Brunch today, we noticed True Food was in the Open Table network, so I would be able to use the credit there. When we arrived the place was pretty empty. Strange for the time of day. Bad sign #1. They walked us to a large table. The table was soaking wet and the hostess laid our paper menus on the puddle of water, never acknowledging the fact that the table was wet. Bad sign #2. I used my napkin to dry off the table and asked the waiter for another. He was very cordial. It was noon on a Saturday, so we assumed they would provide us with the Brunch menu (since that is why we came) and we had to ask for it - a measly 4 items on this menu, so options were few. Bad sign #3. Our server and the taste of the food were the only positive things about this trip. At the end of the meal, I followed the Open table directions and clicked on redeem in front of the waiter. It seems a Mastercard number pops up and since the server nor the manager knew how to do the dining credit, she said it was declined and could give me a 10% discount. Our meal was only $30, maki g that like $3 I said that I had to use the dining credit here since I booked our reservation which is tied to the credit and I would lose the dining credit. The manager was very demeaning and I reminded her that I can't use this credit anywhere else and that the whole reason for choosing this restaurant today was because of the Open Table credit. She then asked me to stop yelling at her. I, at no time in this conversation, raised my voice. I just stated the fact that I will lose $16 if they don't use it here. She said I could use it elsewhere and I reiterated that was not true and asked if she could contact open table to see why it won't go through. She said no because they are a third party and it is not their responsibility. After a while back and forth on this, she then said, I told you I would take $16 off the bill so you can use that elsewhere. When I reminded her that she said only 10% before she again said to stop yelling at me and I am just trying to make you happy. My husband said, does she look happy? After that she basically kicked us out of the restaurant. I will never return to this location ever again after being treated this way, like I was some criminal trying to get over them over a lousy $16. Now I can see why, on Sunday during Brunch time, the place was practically empty. Go to Original Pancake House just up the street if you want great food and service. There will be a wait but it is worth it!

A few logistical tips: while there is street parking, a public lot is conveniently located right across the street. The dining room is quite intimate with only about ten tables, and since they don't seem to take reservations, I recommend arriving early or being prepared for a wait. If you don't want to wait, they do offer takeout! Another suggestion is to browse their menu online before you arrive, the selection is extensive! We showed up without a game plan and needed several minutes just to decide because there were so many tempting choices! Luckily, our waiter was incredibly patient and helpful, answering every question we had. Once we decided, the real fun began. Every single item, and I'm not exaggerating, was phenomenal! We started with the fresh squeezed orange juice, which was sweet and perfectly portioned, along with a vanilla latte and a cappuccino. Both were classic, rich, and creamy. For the main course, we chose the "Chill + Qill It" Chilaquiles, which featured traditional corn tortillas topped with cotija cheese, avocado, pink sour cream, eggs, and your choice of protein. We also tried the Parkside Classic Sliders; the chicken was exceptionally crispy yet tender and juicy, served with eggs on a brioche bun. We opted to upgrade to the truffle fries, which were delicious! Although our sliders accidentally came with pickles, the staff was so kind and immediately offered to remake the dish or swap out the bun. Finally, we had the Grilled Chicken Egg Ranchero. It was like a breakfast version of nachos, loaded with beans, peppers, onions, an egg, those same crispy tortillas, and more of that signature pink cream! We couldn't leave without satisfying our sweet tooth, so we finished with the Cinnamon Roll French Toast. It tasted exactly like a fresh cinnamon roll, the glaze was incredible, and the bread was perfectly crisp on the outside while remaining fluffy inside. I honestly cannot wait to go back and work my way through the rest of the kitchen's creations. This restaurant is a absolute must-visit for their unique combinations and superb flavors!

So how did I wind up back here? Bit of a story but if you read my first review you'll see how I met a friend that I met online 13 years ago for the first time and this was the place we went for dinner after an event. Well, now a year later, her and I were traveling together north to Parsippany and this was the closest restaurant that looked appealing. It was not until we enter the parking lot I said out loud, this is where we had our first dinner. Anyways, enough of that love story. I really want to give this two stars for service but the food really pushed it over the top. So all in all I will keep it as a four star review. I want to address the food first, I had the short rib tacos, and my partner had eggplant caprice flatbread. I had a bite of hers which I absolutely enjoyed, eggplant had a nice crisp to it which really made it enjoyable. The short rib tacos... holy crap! Mind blown. I did not expect such great flavor in such a small bite. Everything about the tacos packed a punch. I would much rather have had six tacos and no chips and salsa. As for the service, this is where I got frustrated and my cash tip hopefully reconcile with my server. We dined on the rooftop which was completely empty minus a couple at the bar. We seated and ordered our beverages. I did not get my lime with my lemon water. After we ordered our meals, and received them, a server never came back to check in with us. I wasn't a big fan of her attitud either. It started to get busy I noticed that the host kept seating everyone around us when there was an entire floor to sit people at. Not sure if they're trying to keep people in one specific area but for how slow it was they certainly could've given everyone more privacy. I'm pretty sure the couple that was seated next to us got up and left for that reason. Cannot say I will not be back but who knows when I'll be traveling through again.

There was zero attentiveness on the part of anyone for our entire experience. After speaking to Chris, we were finally brought some glasses of water and what I remember to be possibly pita bread or flatbread with rock hard butter. Towards the conclusion they offered us some tiny desserts on the house, which we politely declined. Nothing was discounted, there were no apologies. Such a beautiful place with a welcoming atmosphere to be thrown to the wolves like this. After working for Darden in the Chrysler building, I know this does not uphold their standards or what the managing partner would expect out of their staff.

As soon as we sat down, our server was incredibly welcoming and attentive. I asked him for a drink recommendation and told him what flavors I usually enjoy, and he immediately suggested something that ended up being absolutely perfect for me. The drink didn't take long at all to come out as well! Everyone at my table ordered burgers, and we were all impressed. The portions were generous, and the burgers were cooked just right. They were juicy, flavorful, and satisfying without feeling overly heavy. We paired them with fries and onion rings for the table, and both were sooo crispy and delicious. The restaurant itself is beautiful both outside and inside. It has a really inviting vibe, and you can tell they put effort into creating a space that feels stylish but still comfortable. When we arrived, it wasn't too busy, which made for a relaxed lunch experience. While we were there, near the bar area there was a group of people celebrating something with a DJ, and the energy over there looked like so much fun!! Overall, great service, delicious food, and a fun atmosphere. I'll absolutely be coming back!

I ordered eggs, bacon and a banana waffle. When you order a side of bacon they serve you six slices of bacon. (I actually asked the server if it was a side?). The banana waffles come with an entire banana sliced on it. The portions for breakfast are extremely generous! Located in Ford's, NJ on what looks like Main Street you will find Colonial Restaurant. It's mixed in among houses and shops. It's a typical NY Diner menu which I love. When you walk in there is counter seating the length of the restaurant on the right and a line of booths that seat 4 on the left. If you go with a large party you will have to sit separately. If you're in the area I definitely recommend Colonial Restaurant for breakfast!
