I love Red Lobster, but this visit wasn't the best for me or at this location. Cynthia was our waitress, and she was very friendly and attentive. First we started out with drinks and appetizers. My husband ordered water with lemon and a beer. The kind he drinks, they didn't have any at the time. I had a virgin pina colada and a ginger ale. The cheese sticks were fresh, warm and delicious. My husband also ordered lobster bisque for an appetizer. It was delicious as well. Next, my husband and I ordered our entree. We both had Shrimp your way. I had cooked 2 ways for the shrimp. I had the Waltz shrimp, and crispy dragon shrimp. With a baked potato. My husband had the shrimp your way, cooked 3 ways. He had shrimp scampi, crispy dragon shrimp and shrimp linguini. He also had a baked potato with bacon on it. The food looked so yummy, I was ready to eat. But, as soon as I removed the tail, there was a trace of the poop in it. I wiped it with a napkin, and it was on the tail and on the shrimp. That was it, I lost my appetite instantly. I'm still celebrating my birthday from Friday 2/27, so I wanted to dine at this location since I really enjoyed it, in the past. But no, I'm ok. I was just too outdone. Even though the manager who was very attentive and friendly, came and discussed the issue with me. I wasn't pleased, because now I don't want to eat any shrimp from Red Lobster, again. :-( All of my husband's shrimp, was clean. He didn't have any fried shrimp. This is a lesson for me, stick with fish or lobster. :-) Not sure if I'll be back, but if so, definitely won't be eating any fried shrimp. :-) read more

Went there today for My Sister's Birthday lunch. No wait to be seated, ordered a drink from the bar along with a glass of wine which took about fifteen minutes to come. We had to ask the waitress about our drinks, my drink was't good at all it was supposed to have some Hennessy in it. It just tasted like some sweet syrup with ice, they refused to take it off my check. So never order a drink from there again. After reading the reviews for Red Lobster, Newnan GA I have to admit I was very hesitant about visiting. However I decided to give them a try and I am very happy that I did. On Friday, Octoberv31, 2025 we were greeted by the hostess that really presented as though she loved what she was doing, she showed us to our table and introduced us to Kat who would be our waitress. Kat also presented as though she loved what she was doing. She promptly took our drink and appetizer order. She came back to ask if we had any menu questions. We did not and told her we were ready to place our entree order. Away she went. She of course had already delivered those biscuits. Not long after she returned with our appetizers which were just the right temperature. Then came the still steaming boils, we both chose the one with lobster tails and in no way did they disappoint! With a table reservation though their app, still waited nearly and hour to be seated. Then they burned our appetizer, took nearly 45 min for cold food to come to the table. this red lobster is so slow you will go through atleast 7 baskets of rolls SLOWLY before you even get a glimpse of your food. the severs tend to take atleast 10 minutes before greeting you and then another 10 to get your drinks. currently sitting at this red lobster waiting for my food after ordering it 37 minutes ago. To add on to that there are maybe 7 tables sat total. it is not busy what so ever. i cant even imagine what this location looks like on a weekend night. food is good but if you're hungry and maybe on a time crunch go somewhere else and get what you are paying for because sitting here waiting for 40 minutes is quite expensive. update: i got my food (spoke too soon!) and they were the worst crab legs i've had in a long time. very disappointed. the guests sitting next to me also sent their food back because of how dry it was. go somewhere else i won't be coming back here for awhile. read more

This restaurant has horrible service. We waited an hour and a half for our food. The manager told us that it was because they were very busy, but I looked around the restaurant and around 70% of the tables were empty. The waitress kept making excuses as to why our food was not ready. About 30 mins before our food came, she said that they were "plating our food"...definitely not true. While we were leaving the restaurant and pulling out of the parking lot, we noticed several of the employees vaping outside. It is awfully managed along with inefficient employees. We have visited this Red Lobster in the past not been up to par, but we like Red Lobster,, so decided to try it again. Wow! what a difference this experience was! We were seated quickly, and greeted by our very delightful waitress,. We ordered one of the feasts with entrées two sides and added hush puppies to share. The famous biscuits were brought out quickly and continued as needed, along with our drink refills. While we waited for our food, Kim, the very personable new manager came by to check on us and see if we needed anything and then checked on our food. The entree was hot and delicious and more than enough food for the two of us. We even took some home! Kim has turned his restaurant around and hired good people, like Hannah. This review is an unabashed love fest for our server, Ronnie. We walked into this Red Lobster on Christmas Eve. We were surprised it was open at 7:30pm. No one was waiting at the host station. Two young employees walked by and told us they'd return in 5 minutes. We were mellow with the Season, so we waited patiently in the empty reception area. In 2 minutes, Ronnie came around the corner carrying an armload of paperwork. She asked us if we had been helped. We replied that we hadn't. A brief look of exasperation flickered across her face, and she cheerfully announced, "Well, I am going to take care of you myself!" She led us to a booth, and proceeded to give us a superlative evening of attentive service, ensuring that our drinks, appetizers, and entrees were perfectly to our liking. Walking in, the restaurant will look just as it always does. Nothing wrong with the looks. However, from where we were sitting you could smell the bathroom and it was a very HARSH smell. Our waitress was very rude; Rolling her eyes, groaning as she walked away from the table. We got our bread, but it was extremely soggy and cold in some areas of the bread. Our entrees and sides came in- I got coleslaw, mashed potatoes, cajun chicken Alfredo, and garlic shrimp scampi. The shrimp and Alfredo was great; No complaints, but the mashed potatoes had several, large chunks in it and the coleslaw was just GARBAGE. They both tasted close to throw-up to put it simply. Was in the area for some medical visits and was craving some seafood. For being a chain restaurant the food was pretty good, I had there 4-course feast which started with a cup of New England clam chowder which tasted homemade not like out of the can,next I had a fresh garden salad and some warm cheddar biscuits. For my main course I tried the shrimp linguine Alfredo which was nice and creamy and lots of shrimp. For dessert I finished it off with a warm chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream, Very good and filling. Hubby had one of the weekly specials all you can eat shrimp three different ways, comes with salad and one side. Service was fine. Restaurant wasn't busy. The American was flying upside down outside the restaurant (I don't think that was intentional). My wife ordered crab legs (for Crabfest) and one of the crab legs was entirely without crab meat. She also said that the lettuce in her salad was flimsy when it should've been crisp. My son complained that his shrimp Alfredo had no flavor. Meanwhile, I ordered the Summer Power Bowl with grilled chicken. I thought it was pretty good. We had excellent food and great service at this location. Tiana was our server when we took my 93-year-old mother out for her birthday lunch. Tiana was extremely pleasant, and, towards the end of the meal, I told her it was my mother's birthday. She returned with two colleagues, and they sang "Happy Birthday" to my mother. Tiana also presented us with a free huge piece of cake and ice cream with a birthday candle. My mother was thrilled! Went to this location on Father's Day weekend (Saturday) . As you can expect it was very busy. Our party of 6 we're sat right away. Our waitress was cool and took our orders right away. The only thing is she did have a kids menu for my daughter. We ordered the crest your own appetizer ( Stuffed Mushrooms & Cheese stick) which was brought out amazing fast, 7 minutes tops. Our meals took about 30 minutes but it was cool considering our party size and the amount of people in the restaurant. Everyone enjoyed their food. This is not about this location, but Red lobster in general. We were looking forward to a nice lunch and we were informed they no longer have a lunch menu ( at least on the weekends) . Not only that, they no longer served a few of the fan favorites like : soup and salad combo, flounder , sailors platter ect. Friends suggested that we try Red Lobster again after several years of not dining there. We went about 8:30 on a Saturday night an noticed that the parking lot was not nearly as full as was normal in our past visits. We soon discovered why that was the case. We were seated quickly and waited about 10 minutes for a Server. She was polite,friendly and brought the drinks . I pointed to the daily special on the menu for the mahi-mahi with shrimp and a cajun sauce. What I received was a hockey puck of some type of dry fish with some seasoning sprinkled on top. No shrimp and no sauce. I left the majority of it on my plate. The salads were brought about two minutes before the entrees, also. Glad they brought the cheese biscuits, so that the meal was not a total loss. Will avoid Red Lobster unless someone having a special event insists on going there. Probably just order a glass of tea and some biscuits and save $25.00. Like so many restaurants nowadays, Red Lobster seems to be surviving on the alcohol sales. read more

This location has gone down hill. The last time we went in, we said we wouldn't be back. Decided to give it one more try considering it's the only one nearby and we are certain now that we won't be back. Seemed the staff was more interested in chatting.
