My margarita was a bit strong and the server gladly brought me a small vial of syrup to add to it. In addition, she was efficient and friendly. There were two of us and we both had the Friday fish and chips special with a side of broiled scallops. We are used to the scallops on a skewer, but got them in a plate instead. They loved the live lobsters in the tank and a staff member was so kindly enough to take one out for them to see up close. They loved this experience! The host was also super nice and friendly. I had the Friday special which has a combination of shrimp scampi, shrimp Alfredo, and popcorn chicken with fries. I've always liked it here because I've never been dissatisfied with my meals. This time I had the shrimp platter which comes with fried, scampi and pasta. We came here as a group of five after a full day of dancing at the Zumba convention. The restaurant wasn't crowded, but it still took about 10 minutes for us to be seated. Once we sat down, it felt like forever before our server came over. When she finally passed by, she said, "I'll be with you soon." A bit of a bummer since we were hungry. I think it would've been nice if she had at least dropped off biscuits and water while we waited. That said, she was clearly very busy, constantly moving. At one point she even dropped a tray of drinks while rushing, so I can understand the pressure she was under. It seemed like the restaurant could use a few more staff members to keep things running smoothly. When she was finally able to take our orders, I went with the drink flight, which included passion fruit, watermelon, and another flavor I can't quite remember, but all were tasty, and for $17, no complaints. For my entrée, I ordered the Cajun Chicken Alfredo. It was decent, though I would've liked a bit more Cajun seasoning. The biscuits, as expected, were delicious, and my friend's hush puppies were also great. Staying at a nearby convention hotel, we didn't want to lose our amazing parking spot, so we chose to walk over to RL for dinner. We were seated immediately, but because of how the restaurant is laid out (with high-back booths) I don't know how busy the dining room was. We got our biscuits almost immediately, but I think we waited about 5 minutes for Laquanna to come take our drink order. We gave her our full order, in order to save time, but it still took about 20 minutes for our food to arrive. Not an issue, I know we are in a busy/tourist area. Hubs ordered a grilled chicken sandwich, and when it came out, the fries were not anywhere to be found; Laquanna had to go back and get them. I ordered the Shrimp 2 Ways (Popcorn and Walt), and they were just... meh. Walt's shrimp weren't crunchy enough for my preference, and the popcorn shrimp left an odd aftertaste in my mouth. The fries were good. The biscuits (of course) were delicious - whoever seasoned them went *heavy* on the garlic, and I was in love. All in all, it was about what I expect from RL - a perfectly serviceable meal for a slightly more than average price. Our waiter was nice attentive and always ready to get what we asked for. Our appetizer and rolls came right out. The rolls seemed a little dry but still tasty. Our entrees were out pretty quick. I was too exhausted to try to hash things out at our visit so I apologize for the "after-the-fact" rant. The restaurant was slow and yet our server was inattentive/did not check in on us regularly and kept forgetting to bring us our biscuits. Came for lunch with some friends and had an amazing time. The booth was kinda tight so they happily moved us into the bar area and we had giant, luxurious chairs and a big table all to ourselves. We went for a Fairwell lunch on 6.11.26 about 10 of us. It was the worst experience we have ever had. 1.5 hours to get served. Got the unlimited soup, salad and biscuits. I had to ask for the biscuits, waited over 45 minutes to get a salad, finally got the soup, asked for more salad and it never came. The broccoli looked awful & the waitress even said it did and would bring another one and never did. My tea was empty for over 30 minutes. when it came time to pay we couldn't find the waitress. some of us were left there for 2 hours. I asked for butter for mash potatoes and I waited, by the time she got the butter my Mash potatoes were cold. I work at the convention center thank God my boss was with me. We all were late for our 1:00 and 1:30 meetings. My manger asked for a manger, and we were told she was not in he got her business card and was going to call again. It was a Joke. Our Deputy Director was with us, and he was pissed to say it nicely. He asked for his check when he received his food, and it never came so he went to the bar and paid via apple pay. I couldn't take anything home with me because I was afraid it would have been another 30 minutes. What a disaster!! it was an Epic failure on you. I asked for a to go box that never came. I now understand why I don't go to red lobster, and why they are closing restaurants across the country. If the level of service and the food quality is this bad, don't waste your time and money. Took my son here at his request while here in Orlando, just for cheddar bay biscuits, and honestly that was the best thing here, and the only reason for the extra star. Server was so flippant and emotionless and unfriendly I felt like we were at a dive bar on Daytona beach and she was the bartender recovering from spring break week. She was just not nice. Ordered burger for my son cooked medium. Totally plain with fries and a side of mayo for the fries. I had the shrimp triple with fries and mayo on side also, which was ok but nothing special. Restaurant was nearly empty, but server was not seen after order placed, and delivered by someone else. No Mayo but instead ketchup. Ok no problem. That happens sometimes. Son tries to eat his med rare burger and can't even chew his first bite of the burger. I cut the burger in half, and it's solid grey inside and well done. Waited ten mins for the server to come over after she comes over we tell her and show her the burger is well, she mumbles sorry, grabs the plate and says the new one will be out shortly. No offer to refill drinks. Next one gets delivered (in photos) in literally less than 5 mins, and appears to be either microwaved or cooked at low temp for less than a minute and raw. He gets nauseous after first bite. At this point I'm so annoyed I'm looking for a manager but of course no one around. The eight top next to us mind you has two servers, and literally had both of them at the table 14-15 different times, checking on drinks, food quality, needs etc. Stark contrast to what we got. I would give you the server to avoid here but let's hope this was an off night for her. She came and cleared the plates, and didn't even ask why the second burger was untouched, or offer anything more than drop the check off. Will not be back here ever. Went to RL on International Drive a few days after NYE. We were excited to visit as they closed our nearest location back home well over 9 months ago. Expecting a similar experience, we were a bit surprised as to the changes. Good news the rolls haven't changed, the bad news first that the prices are up and meals don't include salads as they have in the past, but really most irritating was the "aged" salad they served us (wilted and brown) we did complain to the server who came back and told us that the manager agreed that it was old so they opened a new bag for others. The server said that the mgr said thanks for pointing this out! No offer to take one or both of our salads off the bill, no offer for a desert or free drink for compensation! Maybe glad they closed our location so I won't be missing Red Lobster in the future. read more

Visited this location with my hubby and a friend after an event at the convention center across the street. We noticed most of the restaurant was empty, certainly more than half. I don't think there was a host or a busser on the dinner shift because there was nobody to seat us for a long time and we were seated by our server, and there were dirty tables around us during our entire stay. I give three stars because our server (his name was Aaron or Eric or something similar) was great and had a wonderfully positive attitude and took good care of us. Unfortunately on the other hand, the food we ordered took about 45-50 minutes to come out, which was disappointing because the restaurant wasn't really that busy. The food itself was decent at most. Cheddar Bay Biscuits are always a must- and you must also get a second round at least. Everyone knows this is the star of the place lol. Mine and my friends salmon were good, not much flavor or salt but cooked nicely and moist on the inside. Shrimp scampi was nice and sat in lots of butter. Popcorn shrimp was a good portion for the pick two entree plate and were thankfully more shrimp than batter like you see in some places. Fries, salad, and baked potato all tasted like you would expect. Mashed potatoes unfortunately had zero flavor. :/ Overall it was a decent meal, the server we had was awesome! Super friendly staff even though we came in a bit late. Food is typical red lobster quality, pretty salt and butter heavy. I persoanlly wouldn't come just for the food. But they have a tableside ordering system with unlimited games for $1.99 for kids. You can even pay your bill there. Staff was just excellent. Lots and lots of tourists. It's a chain restaurant on International Drive, it doesn't try to be anything else, and it works. PLENTY OF FREE PARKING this is always a bonus for me I swear if Orlando starts PayMobile we should riot. It's family friendly and it's not usually the Red Lobster locals go to. You could get a quiet booth or a louder one depending on the day. No one is dressed up, just a heads up because I've had visiting family ask if they need to change from their bermudas and flip flops. The place is a dump, but we wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. We got there early and decided walk around the surrounding area. When we came back 20 min later, there was an "ALL AUTO TOWING" tow truck hooked up to our vehicle trying to tow our car. I explained to them and asked the manager to get involved. The managers there are rude, and seemed to be in collaboration with the tow company. I'm glad Red Lobster is going out of business.
